08.06.23 They need to do a makeover on the entrance, clean out the flower beds trim the brush back on the walkway. This place could really be a great place to dine at if they would clean it up and serve consistent food. Haven't been here in a while so we decided to give it a try and see how it goes, we both had tea for our drink. Wife ordered the full rack of ribs and I had the pork bbq sandwich with fries and coleslaw, we were disappointed when the food came out the ribs were very small for a full rack. It looked like they weee purchased from Giant last week when they were on sale, the rack was very small and there wasn't a lot of meat on them. Ya The coleslaw tasted totally different from what they used to make the fries were nothing to write about the bbq sauce is nothing fancy just Open Pit brand they get in a 5 gallon bucket the bourbon bbq sauce wa little bit better than the other sauce. They could make there own. Won't be back for a while again

Over the last 30 years I have dined at this restaurant scores of times. However about 10 years ago the quality of the food started to decline and the restaurant itself was fairly shabby and not very clean. Today some friends wanted to meet there for dinner and even though the Yelp reviews lately have not been great I decided to give it a try. Glad that I did, because it was much improved. I think they have installed new floors and the bathroom was also brand new and clean for a change. It's still a rib joint, and the ribs are superb as is the barbecue chicken. The side dishes were much improved over what I remember so perhaps they have a new provider? Of note, the name may have changed but the sign still says "Adam's Ribs." Service was great and our server certainly knew what she was doing and was very friendly and attentive. Prices were fairly reasonable. I will definitely be back.

This locals restaurant has a very homely rustic atmosphere. Service was on point and I have not had ribs this good outside of TN.

When we first arrived, it was extremely loud inside because the music was playing and everyone was trying to talk over it. After we had been sitting for a few minutes, the music stopped, and the atmosphere became much more enjoyable. Everyone had been trying to talk over the music. For drinks, I ordered a Whiskey Mule made with Bulleit Bourbon, and my wife had an iced tea. When I took my first sip, my drink was extremely sour. I asked if they had accidentally made me a different cocktail, and they said no, but immediately offered to remake it. I told them that whatever extra ingredient made it so sour could just be left out. The second drink was perfect, and I really appreciated how quickly they took care of it. For dinner, my wife ordered the chili, and I had the pork tacos. As always, the food was very good. We were sitting at the bar, and I asked Gordy about a couple of the beers they had on tap. He asked if we had ever has any of the sour beers. He came back with a sample of the Double Blueberry Marshmallow Sour. He was right! It definitely had a tart flavor at first, but it also had a nice sweetness. The blueberry flavor came through right away, and about 10 seconds later, I could really taste the marshmallow. It was a unique beer and fun to try. Overall, we had another great meal. The staff was friendly, they handled my drink issue without hesitation, and the food was just as good as we've come to expect. We'll definitely be back.

Called ahead early on St. Patrick's Day and got a 7:30 reservation. Arrived a few minutes early,…read morebut they were able to seat us early right away. We figured it would be busy since it's an Irish pub on St. Patrick's Day, so it wasn't a big deal when it took about 10 minutes for the server to come take our drink order, and another 10 minutes to come take our food order. Then there was the wait. Since it was a busy day, I figured about 30 minutes, maybe 40, so I expected our food would be ready around 8:20-8:30; our food was not delivered to our table until 9:23... and it was a little cold, as if it had been ready for a while, but never brought out. I ate about half of mine and took the rest home. My wife only ate maybe 3-4 bites of hers. After reheating at home, the food itself was fine; I had corned beef & cabbage (yes, cliche) and my wife had fish & chips. We were given a basket of kettle chips around 8:30. The wait was long enough that my wife ordered a second beer (which she doesn't usually do); was a little disappointed that it wasn't comped because of the long wait. What made it worse was there were a few tables that were seated after us that got their food before us, including a party of 6 that finished, paid and left before our food even arrived. I'm willing to give the place a second chance on a different day. I get that St. Patrick's Day is probably a rough one for them. But if the kitchen is over an hour behind, that should probably be mentioned before any orders are taken.

Verified Untappd venue (iykyk), with what seems like endless taps and an even more impressive selection of cans/bottles. Bartenders are pretty damn knowledgeable about the product as well, which as a beer nerd is perfect. The food is fantastic. From appetizers (the fried vegetables are heaven) to entrees, it's the perfect amalgamation of classic bar food and Indian cuisine. Today when I was in I had the Taphouse (Lamb) Burger with fries and a side of their Makhani sauce (Pic attached). If a place has a lamb burger it's my immediate go to every time, and I have to say Taphouse has the best I've ever had. The lamb was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the vegetables were fresh, and that feta is that perfect accompaniment to round it off. The Makhani sauce is just good on everything. Could drink it. Not kidding. The venue offers a welcoming outdoor area and a semi-private indoor space perfect for events. I've booked Taphouse for both corporate and personal gatherings, and it's the easiest, most reliable spot in the County for hosting by far. Beyond the food and drink, Taphouse, and especially Sunny (the owner) are one of the most community engaged businesses in Southern Maryland. They have put on countless events supporting all types of local organizations, and always work with nonprofits when they need anything. Taphouse and Sunny himself really serve as one of the best ambassadors of St. Mary's County, especially since a large portion of the customers are transient. All in all, 100% a must try if in the area. But be warned, if you do, you will be coming back constantly.
