Enjoy this UTHS Panthers supported place. From Gyros, burgers, tenderloin and pizza, this suburban bar/grill style place is also a great place to watch a game. Bartenders are excellent as well as the staff. Sunday -$5 microbrew tall mugs Monday specials - $3 domestic tall mugs and $6 burger baskets Tuesday - $3 microbrew drafts and 3 gyros for $10 Happy hour M-F 3-6pm

$6.50 burger basket special, -a few fries I ate before the pic, +sautéed mushrooms. Onions were cut too thick, otherwise great burger!

We got a gyro, which was really good, but the BLT gyro was absolutely amazing.

The first time I got the Steak House Burger with a side of curds. I asked for no onion and it came loaded with them, that was unfortunate. I picked as many as I could off and luckily it didn't ruin the taste too much. I got a side of fried cheese curds. They were a little overdone (the cheese leaked out, so it was a bunch of empty shells. My second visit was better. I got the Don Julio burger and fries. Everything was cooked beautifully and the toppings were just what I ordered this time. The fries were a perfect golden brown. So good! Great service, good food!

I got the breaded cause that's the only way I've ever had it going back to my IL childhood. The meat is massive and looks ridiculous on the bun (in a great way). Most importantly it was cooked to perfection. Crisp breading, tender pork inside. And a side of good fries as well. Couple that with a Revolution IPA on tap and I am in heaven. Great dinner. I always have great service and the friendly manager greets us every time. It's a bar and grille but there are a few options for those that want something lighter or healthier. My wife opted for the Mediterranean chicken which was a pesto sauce. She liked it, although there was no pasta which is a bit odd but tasted really good.

Ignore all of the construction and give these guys a try, you won't regret it!…read more The bartender, Carrie, was fantastic! Offering samples and suggestions to make sure everyone received something they would enjoy. When I told her I liked bourbon and not beer, she brought out a bottle of Woodford Reserve and never once told me I just had to try one of their beers because it would most certainly be the one to convert me to a beer drinker! I can't tell you how much I appreciate that and wish more breweries would be like that. But back to the beer, the rest of the family enjoyed the selection and all said they would go back. They do not serve food, but there is a very good Mexican restaurant next door and you can bring in their food if you are hungry. It is also very family friendly and welcoming!

Midwest Ale Works takes care of your beer needs, and there's quite a variety. Has pretty good prices on pints. There's fruity ones and more traditional hoppy styles. A lot of beers to choose from. It's about $7 a pint. That's not bad for a local craft brewery like this. A few of these are fruity. This is a good place if you like sours. I liked the name of the Fuster Cluck. This is a blackberry, blueberry, and raspberry sour. All three berries. They use over 100 pounds of berries when brewing it. As for the food, you can order it from next door. There's Mexican food such as chips and tacos. Has lots of great beers. It has a variety of interesting flavors. Those wanting food can order it from the restaurant in the same building or from one of the nearby other places or wherever.

The place is a lot nicer looking on the inside than the out looks with a nice exposed circular metal ceiling and kind of an industrial look with the wood and metal. The men's room has a keg for a pisser which was somewhat weird but kind of cool. There is a rail yard right behind the place so the name is fitting. I was after a cold craft style draft beer which they had a few and I don't even remember the names. I was amazed that the woman working the bar didn't know how much the beers cost and had to consult a menu before taking my money. I was only going to do one beer and since I didn't how much they were I slapped $10 on the bar, $4.75 for my dark beer. She grabbed the $10 and asked if the whole $10 was with her tip, no I'm not leaving you a $5.25 tip on my first beer, seriously. I decided to try another beer and I asked her to bring me the most popular tap, nothing domestic like Bud which she didn't really know so I said just pick something. I liked the frosty glass with each beer. My second beer must have killed the keg because it was kind of low in the glass or just a crap pour which I think is most likely what happened WTF. It's probably an ok place for a couple beers but I would check out some other places in town.
