I wish I'd taken pictures! My son contacted The Dog to remove his 3-story high tree that was looking pretty scary, swaying in our recent very windy days here in SF. Eric came out and inspected the scope of work they'd need to complete and included removing all the invasive American Ivy (omg! so much of it!). The crew arrived on time and completed the job the same day. Behind all that ivy, they discovered an igloo dog house in which racoons had made their home. Sadly, they were evicted that day, without harm of course! We were so impressed with the quality of work that we called and had them remove our dying apricot tree, which was next to our flowering avacado tree. I was concerned for the safety of the that tree, but Eric reassured me that nothing would happen to it and that it would actually thrive with the removal of the dying apricot tree as it would receive more sunlight. After the two-person crew removed the tree, and cleaned up (looks more tidy than when they started), our avacado tree has exploded with so much more fruit growing!. We had a large branch split on the tree in front of our house, and it was dangerous and also threatening our neighbor's house. These guys provided outstanding service, they showed up very quickly and provided a quote for a great price in my opinion. We had to wait for a little while to sort things out with the city, and they waited patiently. We were desperate! We had let all of the greenery on our property grow out of control. We had to take action! Luckily for us, we found The Dog LLC on Yelp and chose them because of their great reviews. Those reviews didn't even begin to say how great these guys are! When we called The Dog LLC, Erick was luckily available that afternoon to come over to estimate our job. Erick assessed the work carefully, explained what he and his crew would do and why, gave us a very fair quote and set a date for later that week to perform the work needed. It was a big job involving serious limb-sawing and cutting of an out-of-control avocado tree, trimming of a vastly overgrown and difficult to prune 9 foot high pittosporum hedge, serious olive tree care and cutting back many other bushes and plants that had grown out-of-control on our property. In addition the guys would have to be quite careful while working because there is a massive PG&E power pole in our garden. On the day appointed, Erick and his crew arrived early and they worked really hard all day. They left all of the plants on our property beautifully shaped and healthy-looking.
