He was aggressive towards every living thing that wasn't a main family member but I knew he was a sweetie inside and wanted others to experience his kinder side. I took 8 training sessions and while he may not be perfect being as his old habits have stuck a bit, he's much more manegeable. My partner, who doesn't live with me, has admitted that he's like a different dog now. Before Shin-Shin made my partner nervous and always looked ready to attack but can now cuddle with him. I can't say enough good things about Andrew from Leader of the Pack OC. After trying two other…read moretrainers, one strictly positive reinforcement, and another online, I was starting to feel like I'd never get real control over my two small dogs (poodle/terrier/bichon mixes, 20 lbs each). One of them, Mocha, had repeatedly gotten loose and chased people and dogs, and even nipped once. Lily, the younger one, was starting to copy his bad habits. I was honestly overwhelmed. Then a neighbor recommended Andrew. From the first session, I could see this was different. We did five in-home training sessions using e-collars, something I had tried before with poor results. In the past, Mocha would shut down with e-collar use: hiding between my legs, refusing treats, and basically going into avoidance mode. But with Andrew's guidance, both dogs adapted quickly and comfortably. By the third session, they were walking calmly by my side, off leash, with the leash literally dragging on the ground, something I never imagined I'd see. But it didn't stop there. Their behavior at home transformed. No more chewing walls, no more accidents inside from Lily, and Mocha stopped spraying constantly on walks. Even behaviors we hadn't directly worked on started improving. They were calmer, more respectful, and somehow still the same affectionate, happy dogs, just with clear boundaries now. And they listen. They come when called, even at a distance, even with distractions, even at the park. It's like a whole different relationship now, I finally feel like we're connected in a way that's calm, respectful, and fun. With the new boundaries they've learned, I now have more control, and they actually have more freedom. On long walks in nature, they're able to enjoy time off leash because I know they'll listen to me when I talk to them. They will immediately come if there are distractions or dangers. That balance of trust and freedom has changed everything for us. The can be off leash without getting into mischief. One of the most incredible moments for me was when I told them to sit outside, walked 40+ feet away, and they just stayed seated, watching me. That kind of control used to feel impossible. And keep in mind, this is with two dogs, trained together, not in separate sessions. Other trainers had told me that couldn't be done. Andrew proved them wrong. Andrew is also incredibly professional and responsive, he was always on time, gave me a discount for the second dog, and was available by text throughout the week to answer questions between sessions. After the in-home training, he also hosts weekly group training sessions in the park, where you can reinforce the skills in a real-world setting with other dogs, bikes, skateboards, etc. These sessions are just as valuable as the private ones. In short, this training changed my life with my dogs. It was worth every penny and far exceeded my expectations. My family can't believe the change. My neighbors have noticed the change. My dogs are thriving, and I'm finally able to enjoy them without constant stress or fear. Andrew didn't just train my dogs, he helped rebuild my relationship with them. I am so grateful.

When I initially called this dog walker, she answered her work phone number. We had a 20-minute conversation, and I explained that I have two large dogs. One is friendly and has excellent report cards from daycare, while the other is older, spoiled, and takes a while to feel comfortable with strangers. My smaller dog, on the other hand, is no problem. However, my bigger dog barks when people walk in the house, especially if they don't fully know him yet. I said when u walk in the house; they bark until I give them rubs and kisses. I specifically instructed her to sit on the sofa when she comes in the house and let them come to her and pet them for a while before putting on their harnesses. Unfortunately, this never happened. Every time I watched the camera, it was the opposite. I let it go for a while, but then I continued to hire her three times a month and a full week when I was on vacation. I didn't need her to walk my dogs because I had friends and family, but I wanted them to continue to warm up to her in case I left town again. Everything was fine during the week when I was out of town. I watched the cameras and received good report cards, which I still have for proof. However, for some reason, the last two times she walked my dogs, all she did was nag and complain about how hard it was to put on their harnesses. If she were in a hurry to go somewhere, she shouldn't have agreed to walk my dogs! She should have said no, then she was rushing my dogs and smoking at the same time. She complained that it was too hard? If it wasn't hard for a full week when I was out of town, now it's hard? The truth is, she got lazy and didn't want to take the time and effort to care for my dogs anymore because it was to much u should write on your profile that you only accept small dogs. You seemed fine walking one dog at a time, but then you complained about that so u started walking two dogs at once. That's What happens when you take on more than you can handle! You should have stuck to your normal routine of walking one dog at a time. But you were once again in a hurry You started to walked both dogs and then look what happened ? It was a mess, then she starts to tells me . I can't talk to you after my work hours, mind you. Mind you guys I called her at 8 pm when I first met her , that's after your work hours. I told this lady about my dogs' triggers: no smoking around them, no drugs or weed, and they hate that stuff. They bark at anyone who does it. She was vaping while trying to leash my dog! The harness wasn't connected to his collar; it was on backwards and upside down by the grace of God. They didn't get hit by a car and get out! She said, "Oh my gosh, the harnesses are so hard! It's too much. The dogs are barking at me; they're not cooperating." One tried to attack me, mind you. I was watching the cameras the whole time. Then she said, "My dog went outside and did a backflip and landed on all four feet. So, I brought them in the house." I paid you just to take my dog out for him to do a backflip for you to not complete the job. They didn't even pee or poop. Because she claimed he did a backflip? I think this lady is on drugs or something because nothing she was saying made sense. I have camera proof, and she lies about the walks once someone walks into my house I get an alert on my phone and the distance. I have FI trackers on my dogs. She said she did a 0.57 walk, but it was only a 0.14-mile walk! She said the walk was 32 minutes, but it was only 10 minutes. So, I wouldn't trust her when you first meet her. She seems like she's down, but then after they take you for granted and take advantage of you, she says my dogs are distressed and have anxiety. I would have anxiety too if you're smoking in front of me when I already don't like it, and it's taking you 15 minutes to put on a harness. I call it pure laziness! When you tell someone that you only need them between 6:30 pm and 7 pm, don't complain about the time after you already agreed to it. Don't agree to something if you're not going to be fully committed to it. If you know you're going to be tired after walking multiple dogs during the day, don't agree to something at night. But it's okay, karma does It's a big one, being frustrated with my dogs and just trying to blame everything on me when it's actually you remember, I may not be a Dog Walker but I am very intelligent. Dogs will always feed off your energy, negativity stress, and anything you are on and I feel like I was scammed and lied to. Don't trust it. Everything we talked about in the beginning when I first met her nothing ever ended up that way. Wish you the best no hard feelings just more so upset.
