The TLDR is that the owner of this salon doesn't take accountability for the mistakes made by her stylists, she is incredibly cold and disrespectful when dealing with conflict and unprofessional in handling her business. She's also hardly in the building, as her employees made a joke that "they have a lot of freedom here." I had an appointment for a $200 balayage and I left with orange brassy roots. My stylist never called me back when she said she would, twice. When I finally spoke to the owner several days later, she couldn't care less about the mistake in my service. I posted screenshots of my full experience and my roots in daylight. I ended up getting a full refund after trying to be as diplomatic as possible, but also needing to stand up for myself. I had my hair cut and some highlights and lowlights. The girl who did it was very nice and truly I liked her but the color is not right it is dark. My appointment started at 1 and finished at 5:30. The last 15 mins was my haircut which my bangs are crooked and my hair isn't even close to what it usually is. I said I usually have three layers. And she said yes each time but didn't ask me how I wanted my hair cut. If the cut was alright. The color looked ok at the place but after I saw it in my mirror I knew it was too dark. To spend that long in a chair and get this result was mildly disappointing. My husband was wondering what was taking so long. I had to cancel plans because It never has taken so long before. Maddy rocks. It's the second time I've seen her and she took me blond with lowlights first, several months ago, and now I'm dark brown, and I swear, she's one of the best colorists I've ever had. She gives great cuts, too. She's a sweetheart and a true talent, never upselling, just honoring her clients' wishes. She's patient and attentive and takes great pride in her work. She would never give up until her client was happy; I think she'd actually be ashamed of herself, call the client, and beg them to come back to redo their hair if she felt she did less than her absolute best. The salon is super clean and the chairs are comfortable, nothing's loud ... it's just pleasant, small, locally owned, loving, and so pretty. It's a bit hard to find, located behind the bank. Prices are completely reasonable - about $95 was what I pay for cut and full color, not including the tip, of course. Don't tell, but I would pay twice as much for the same service at this salon. read more

I would give a negative number of stars if possible. I had the misfortune of having my hair cut by Gina yesterday. I requested an angled bob/A-line and even showed her a picture of what I had in mind. The actual result is crooked, shapeless, and leaves MUCH to be desired. I had to ask her to stop so I could see her progress, because I could tell that she had cut my hair too short in the back to the point where the back and front looked completely disconnected - a little difficult to explain, but I have uploaded pictures. There was no way she would be able to smooth out my hair into a smooth line unless the front ended up at a length about level with my mouth, which was definitely not as short as I would have liked. When asked for help, the owner Annie advised Gina to wash my hair and then took over to simply blow dry and comb out my hair in a futile attempt to try to hide the damage. Annie herself acknowledged that my hair is currently unsalvageable, but suggested that I wait 4-6 weeks then come back so she can fix it. I am completely distraught; my hair has never in my life looked this bad. read more
