We went back for a return trip to The Donut Factory and were quite surprised with the changes. The store seemed rather dirty, and the floors were even sticky. As for the donuts, this time we went with some classic selections, which are still huge. The fillings are over sugary and the rest are okay at best, Maybe size down some of the classics and ease up on the sugar factor. I stopped by The Donut Factory in Fairhaven after seeing the buy-one-get-one free promotion for the Dubai Cups, and honestly, I left feeling disappointed and a bit ripped off. I was charged $16 for two cups that, even with the promotion, just didn't feel worth the price. One Dubai Cup shouldn't cost $8+--it felt like a steep upcharge just because it's a "viral" flavor. I also ordered a small X-Factor Float but was charged for a 24 oz drink at $8.49. The taste didn't even come close to the quality you'd get from a Mirasol's Chippi or even a basic Starbucks iced coffee. Between the confusing pricing and lackluster flavor, it felt more like a trendy cash grab than a quality café experience. Stopped in here on a Sunday morning. The girl working was alone and was overrun with a line but was friendly and efficient. The donuts are amazing! I ordered a cappuccino and a Boston cream donut. My fiancé had a cupcake donut. They have a great selection of gourmet donuts and every donut and bear claw definitely looks huge! My cappuccino was good but gas station quality. They also have pizza and ice cream. The place is cute inside and a few tables and bar stools along window bar space. I saw the picture of the Turkey Dinner Savory Muffin on Facebook and we stopped in to give it a try. It was tasty and we liked it. A couple of things would have made it better though. We thought the muffin paper cup should be removed from the muffin before adding the stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and gravy. Also, Abner and I thought there wasn't enough gravy and it got a little dry. We asked for more gravy and it was not a problem getting more. Donuts aren't that good. The donut itself is bland and almost like a piece of bread. They cover the poor quality of donut with over the top toppings but at the end of the day, the donut is very bad poor tasting donut. The owners of this place must not care about the staff because I went in on Labor Day and there was one girl working the drive thru AND walk ins. Just one girl. Let me just say, oh my goodness! Everything that I have gotten from there is sooo good! I've gotten donuts, linguica rolls and an " X Factor" drink. Yum, yum, and yum! The linguica rolls are MONSTEROUS in size. The prices are a bit high, though, but definitely worth the money. I have been in there twice and I think my main complaint is that the music is way too loud. I love coming to this place with my family but the way I got treated today wasn't acceptable for any human being to inquire. There were three parties ahead of us but only one employee so it took a while. Tee tried traditional pumpkin cake donut and a pumpkin pound cake specialty donut. The specialty donuts seemed a little to overrun with whipped cream and the one we got was sweeter than needed. Def have had better. Ok so the donuts are cool looking and there are a lot of choices that aren't common at other donut spots .. BUT... they're way overpriced , the employees aren't the most friendly (b**ch vibes) and the actual taste of the donuts may be great for children but for adults who know the difference they're not great. I had to drop my son off at school early this morning and on the way home I thought I would finally have an opportunity to try the Donut Factory which I have wanted to for awhile. When I first walked in there was only one other customer who had already placed their order. While I was not in a hurry, I would have expected after several minutes to receive some sort of acknowledgement by server. After 10 minutes, with no acknowledgement, I did not have a feeling I would be placing my order anytime soon and decided to leave. Not sure if I am willing to try this place again. It's unfortunate, the donuts looked delicious as I had ample time to look at each one. It should not take that long to get a coffee and a donut. Not our first visit to the donut factory, but our first at this location. It's a lot smaller than the previous location which is fine, less chaos. So much to choose from, my husband and I got a Reese's iced cappuccino, we also got steam pockets, I got the St. George cheese and linguica and he got Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. OH. MY. GOODNESS!! Amazing!! The Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese one was gooey and delicious. Then we got sweets, our son got a chocolate frosted m&m donut, I got a Oreo cream coffee roll and James got a pumpkin pie donut, everything was amazing! We bombarded the girl at the counter with our order and she handled us with such patience and kindness. Everything was delicious especially that cappuccino, so smooth and peanut buttery and just the perfect flavor not too sweet. The coffee roll was the best I've ever had. The steampockets are the bomb! I have been stopping on Sundays to stock up for the week on the linguica and the cacoila steampockets.

Have been to this location a couple of times and have had terrible service both times now and will not be returning. They never have the "right" boxes according to the girl behind the counter. This time the box was too small for a dozen doughnuts and she tried to jam them all in their and started squashing them. After my kids ate half the donuts, my wife cut into one and found some sort of fiber that looks like it came from a brush in the glaze. We also found a hair. Both times I came here, I was very put off by the only girl working who wore no gloves handling ANYTHING, didn't witness her using hand sanitizer or a quick wash of the hands, who sniffed the muffin I ordered to "make sure it was the right one", and who also had her vape pen in between her fingers the whole time. My boyfriend and I came into The Donut Factory last weekend. We drove over a half hour to get there. When we walked in the place was a mess! The floors looked like they hadn't been swept or mopped in weeks. The dinning room was non existing all the booths were pushed together, benches facing each other and no tables. However I will say that the best part was the woman who appeared to be the owner or manager ( I only say this because she was sitting on one of the booth benches talking about her rent and pervious location) was sitting in one of the booth benches COMPLETELY BAREFOOT!!! Im talking no shoes not even socks!! I mean come on is this not a food establishment? my boyfriend and i were highly grossed out and found it to be very unsanitary to be sitting in the dinner room BAREFOOT! Let alone for a manager or owner to be doing this... Seriously? Then to delete my facebook post about this and block me from commenting. read more

First, the product IS good. But selection was limited (we went about 1pm) only 6 ice cream flavors and 6 or 7 fancy donut choices. That was Ok and made a selection that was to my liking. The big negative was pricing. They charge $3 for an additional ice cream scoop on their $10 donut cone! 2 ice cream cones w/2 scoops each and 2 fancy deluxe donuts was $38 and change with tax! Outstanding donuts, and friendly staff make this place a necessary stop! Portions are massive, prices are shockingly fair, and it's in a very convenient location! That being said, I have never been in and out in less than 10 or 15 minutes. There was a single order in front of me, and the kind woman behind the counter did a great job of giving them all her attention. She also gave me all her attention once that order was settled. I knew she'd get to me, but a "good morning" or an "i'll be right with you" would have made me feel less like I was imposing by standing around waiting to give my order. I've heard the coffee is fantastic, but I went when the espresso machine was on the fritz around Black Friday and haven't taken the risk to order anything that can't be handed to me off the shelf, due to Not wanting to hold up the people who inevitably come in (and sometimes leave) behind me.
