Great little local donut shop! They fill them to order, which was so nice! The donuts are seriously huge and fluffy! My kids loved the Bavarian cream filling more than the vanilla cream. Great donut shop in Reidsville! Just a short drive from GSO, in a strip mall linked to a grocery store, plenty of parking. Friendly service with a large assortment of donuts. We picked up a few different varieties for our family and it did not disappoint. Fluffy and tasty donuts all the way around. Some of them were a tad bit dry, but nothing that would keep us from coming back again. One of the best features here, which is really unique to any donut shop, is the donut filling station just behind the main ordering area. You can get any donut freshly filled with your favorite fillings: boston cream, vanilla cream, raspberry, strawberry, blueberry. What a great touch. read more

Donut house is such a hidden gem in Reidsville. I always forget it's there but when I do visit, I'm always pleasantly surprised. Their assortment of donuts is nothing less than remarkable. They have every single kind of donut you can think of. Bear claws, apple fritters, cake donuts, filled donuts, sprinkles, berry - you name it, they've got it! And you can get an assortment box of ANY donut for the same price! The space is large with lots of seating if you want to sip some coffee (which they also sell) while eating a donut. Our small town was blessed with this donut shop years ago and this review should've been written much sooner! The Donut house has the best donuts hands down! They're made fresh every morning and are so thick and fluffy. My kids are always asking for donuts and there's never a doubt of where they're wanting them from. My go-to is the glazed crème filled donut. My daughter loves the chocolate covered donut with no filling. My husband and son love the cinnamon twists. Being that there were no donut shops, not even a Krispy Kreme in town, The Donut House is stirring up quite a buzz by the number of folks I have seen going in & coming out with boxes & bags in both hands. They just opened a couple of weeks ago & are receiving a warm welcome. They offer a wide variety of choices in the donut department along with other options like bear claws, donut holes & the always popular apple fritter, which I have tried & must say is quite tasty. They are located in the end unit of the Belmont Square shopping center just behind the Shell gas station on Freeway Dr. We stopped by the other evening about 30 minutes before they closed & all the cases had been wiped out, not a donut in sight except for a few apple fritters, which is a favorite of mine, so I wasn't too disappointed. The second visit we were in luck, the cases were full of some of the best donuts I've ever eaten. We got a few long johns, cream filled donuts & a few donut holes. The Long Johns & cream filled donuts are filled with cream when you order & they are filled to the max, nothing like those sad excuses for "cream filled" like you get at the chain donut places. These things were about to bust with all that sweet creamy awesomeness. read more

Don't let this "hole in the wall" feel or look make you turn away. The owner is super sweet and has great customer service. The donuts are made fresh daily and always sell out. They better than Dunkin and Krispy Kreme. The kolaches are amazing and worth every calorie! Most of the donuts/pastries there are available for fillings and she has many flavors to choose from. Great donuts! Fresh, large portion sizes and by far the best! It's great to have a donut shop in town and not have to drive 30min just to get a dozen. Grocery stores and big box stores donuts are nasty and are either glazed up to much or have a weird taste about them. But, this shop has homemade goodness! And the pinecone is amazing! I never expected to find a donut better than Krispy Kreme in this area. However, we didn't previously have a donut shop here in Reidsville. My husband stopped in the first time, and tried a few of the special pastries. They cost more than the regular donuts, but are sooo worth it. Not only are they huge-2 servings- but they are perfect. The apple fritters are insanely good. The long johns are filled to order with several choices for filling. My favorite among these is chocolate, but there are others, including jelly fillings, added while you wait. The aroma in this shop reminds me of going to the donut store as a kid. The donuts themselves smell so fresh, and are so well made that you can eat them cold. The ladies in the shop are friendly and efficient. I don't think The Donut House is going anywhere. I went in the other day, and while waiting in line, I spoke with several other customers who are just as loyal as my family and I are. read more
