I was VERY UNHAPPY with the service. The repairman, Robert (who said he had 34 years of experience), basically wanted to sell me a new door which I can't afford right now. He installed a bar to stablize the door panel & gave a few whacks at the dents. While I was watching him he then kicked a major dent which had some affect but there were still sides dents & other dents. He wasn't going to bother anymore. WOW and yesterday they responded in an hour when I needed a new sensor for my garage door (a squirrel had gnawed one of mine and ruined it.) Prompt service..nice technician UNFORTUNATELY either during or after installing our springs my husband noticed they were too tight and had him come back on Monday to fix...after loosening them a bit my husband pointed out that the unit hanging from the roof was shiftening back and forth when you would run the door and Robert told him that was "normal". After he left he was trying to figure it out and called me out to look because he has low vision issues. I immediately noticed that the metal slide had pushed through the drywall into the wall above the door, right where Robert was working on the springs! He never said a word he HAD to have seen it. Military Veteran friendly! The Door Company saved our "HOT mess" lives!!! seriously! On 2 JUL garage door broke beyond repair. Company #1 quoted me $1700 after $100 Mil-Vet discount. Company #2 (through Costco) quoted less, but from the date of the estimate/order submitted--or at least, that is what I assumed had happened since I signed all 5/6 pages and included my CC for payment--and then, I would still have to wait 2 weeks for door to arrive! Then, at this point I would get a call to schedule installation!!! All the while my grass is still growing; I can't get mower out of garage cause door will not open, but might get stuck halfway indefinitely. so I decided to contact Co.#2 for status of my order and guess what? Came right out to fix our broken spring, but charged me $275 for a part you can get online for $86. Said they had to go to Dallas to get springs. I'm sure they don't go get them one at a time. Ridiculous prices. Total charge was $400 that should have been about $200. Call someone else. The company in Cedar Park is more reasonable from my experience. Poor after sales service. They were asked to replace a door opener and service the garage door. They replaced the door opener alright but I never realized that asking for a garage door tune up would invoke using a hammer to hit fairly strongly and multiple times on the door spring....all in the name of adding 'tension' to the spring. 'Tension' they surely added....in excess causing the spring to break in three weeks and the door opener (the rail for which was clearly mounted partially on sheet rock) come unmounted. I called two companies in Georgetown and one in Cedar Park- all quoted over the phone. I had a two spring door that had one of two springs break. Absolute tried to sell me springs with one,three and five year warranties at graduating costs. For springs whose life is generally 8-10 years that felt like a I was being played, The door company came out the same day, replaced two springs and adjusted the door for less thank quoted by absolute or cedar park with a simple but solid warranty. I have used Cedar Park before and they were very expensive. A lesser job cost me a lot more money and the technician seemed like he was somehow invested in me letting go of more money. Shelby (a highly skilled technician) did not try to oversell​ the problem, explained everything, answered my questions (and I asked a few) and did a thorough examination of the entire system.
