Avi came and identified the issue - while we could just replace the belt, the unit was old so we decided to replace the whole thing. At the same time, Avi identified the springs were not installed correctly (too many turns or something) which causes the door to drop / fly up when the latch was not on. He offered to replace the springs too. I just replaced the spring with another company last year so I was surprised to learn they were not installed correctly. We were able to reach a bundled price for replacing the opener and the springs. which seems comparable with other companies. I would use this company's services again.

They said the process was straight forward and would even help move the heavy appliances if I can just clear out the rest so we went forward. Doing the floors only was fine and in fact they solved some tricky parts. But the issue is you pay them when the floor is still wet and it felt like they just ghosted me after. No follow-up, no response to questions on punch list items when I could walk the space. And when i asked when we/they can move the heavy appliances back, they told me they 'don't normally do that', and will 'see who's around for it', 'maybe charge extra' etc. I told them I'd gladly pay and just assumed unless they would tell me otherwise, they would help move the appliances back if they helped move them out. Of course they never called me back. Honestly ghosting on a pretty predictable scenario felt like another example of lack of professionalism. Decided not to give them the follow-up cabinet project.
