What can I say, Joe and team did a great job! I can't sugarcoat it even if I wanted to. The process as a whole took an hour and 2 minutes, I timed it with my timer. Really quick. I was expecting 2-3 hours. Roy removed the old garage opener and sensors with ease, then installed the new ones and set up the app capabilities of this newer model. I was going to buy this on my own and have a 3rd party install it, but I checked the market and this was truly the best price amongst 6+ competitors that I reached out to. They're very reasonable, handled the install of the garage opener same day, and really quick and efficient. The only concern is the keypad was installed on the left side of the garage when we wanted it not installed at all or on the right side. But we didn't want holes drilled into the wall because we just painted the house recently and it's a brand new coat of paint. We wish we could have been consulted with this part first, but it's too late now. Other than that, great job. I'd recommend them for their speed, time, and efficiency. Very happy with new garage door that was repaired this morning. Thought the sensors were off but my original garage door is almost 11 yrs old , had a broken spring and could not be lifted manually and cable came off its drum. I called this AM and Roy was able to come out within the hour to troubleshoot, provide us the info on the best options to repair this. We have had the springs replaced 1x with them before but the garage door does get a lot of use. He replaced all the other original parts with a new belt, the newest model motor with new entry pad & remotes, helped to establish the new app, made sure that everything worked properly, answered all concerns and provided fair pricing. This review is for a metal gate post and Lift-master swing gate arm replacement service at the top of this year. Our metal post was not leveled properly and did not have the appropriate thickness or strong cement foundation to support the weight of the gate. This caused stress and wear on our lift master arm motor, and eventually broke the gears, and even left an open gap between the gate and the opposing post. Roy diagnosed this issue very precisely--no pun intended! ;) as they began working on our gate with an excellent repair technician named Francisco. At each phase of the job, Roy assured us of each necessary steps to complete the re-installation of the post and arm, and even provided a remote and motor battery replacements on the house for our troubles. After the job was complete, our gate sits solidly leveled and has full range of motion, and is no longer shifting or causing us any issues. Overall, this was an amazing high quality job by Precise and I highly recommend that you contact them for any gate or garage services! I had an easement entry gate emergency. The swing door / gate was stuck open. The remote wouldn't do a thing and despite me cleaning the area, the sensors were not responding. I contacted the original installers, thinking they would at least come out and assess at no charge. But those jerks wanted to charge 400$ just to come out and see what the issue was. I was nervous as the property now was easily accessible and that's not a good thing in Oakland. I found Ben and Josef from this company and they saved me! They responded to my late evening call immediately, they came out to my property and assess the situation promptly and at NO CHARGE. And fixed my issue in no time! Not trust-worth and overpriced. Broken torsion spring needed to be replaced, they charged $700 to replace two springs. I replaced it with them since I needed it replaced right away. After the replacement, they tried to convince me that my Garage opener was broken too since it open and closed too hard. Suggesting the motor needed to be replaced for over $2000 and saying it's a good deal. Didn't feel the suggestion was trust worthy. After the guy left. I researched the issue and all it needed was to be recalibrated the "up limit" and "down limit". read more

Roy is the man! He came out a couple years ago to address a broken torsion spring. He was quick, efficient, and clearly communicated everything that needed to be done. He also noted the age of the garage motor and how its on its way out and may have issues later. He wasn't at all pushy with the matter, but recommended addressing it eventually and moved on. Fast forward to recently. Sure enough, an issue came along that needed addressing. Originally thought it was related to the torsion spring not being tightened enough, so called them over to address it, since it was still under warranty. Roy came by my place again. He still remembered everything about my situation even though it was a couple years later. Ended up the issue was related to the motor needing replacing. There was no repairing the existing one because it was already over 20 yrs old and that particular method of pulling the garage door isn't used any more. He demonstrated the parts that were causing issues and offered a few options on replacing the motor. He was pretty upfront about the features and prices for each option. He didn't try to steer me one way or another. His explanation was broken down clearly and patiently repeated as needed so I could understand it completely. Kept it informative and professional. When I made my decision, he went to work, replacing out worn out parts and changing out the motor. I called Precise Garage Door about 10 days ago as I needed a second remote garage door opener. I made an appointment and I met with Roy, who inspected the the garage door motor and reported that this particular model would not allow him to program a duplicate garage opener remote. He said that he could replace the garage door motor with 2 remotes for just under $1000, which I declined.. I was later talking to my neighbor about the experience. I would advise anyone who lives in the Peninsula has a gate to have a concrete pad poured around their gate motor to prevent rats from getting in they are insidious little creatures and very harmful to gate motors. Not trustworthy at all. Got my first estimate from them based on their yelp reviews but Roy proved that they are not worth hiring or even having give an estimate. He came and while here he put the garage door to manual and slammed the garage door while saying the spring absorber was going to break. No shit it will if you slam it like that.
