Rick had the springs that we needed in stock. He worked diligently until the springs were installed, the new opener was installed, and everything was working well. He even programmed my wife's car to open the garage door with the push of a button. He actually tried to get the old opener to work in order to save us the cost of the new one and the installation. The old one turned out to be shot, so Rick installed the new one. We were very satisfied with Rick's services and are very happy to recommend him to anyone with garage door issues. Do not use this business for anything other than simple (house, mail, locks, etc.) key duplication…read more They advertise that they can duplicate car key and fobs but this is very misleading. I came in on August 1st to add a Subaru remote head key (key with built-in fob in the head). They did not have them in stock and had to order one. I paid $300 for the keyfob and for the programming of the keyfob. They took my name and number and said the key would arrive in about 3-5 business days and they would contact me when it came in. I had received no communication and came in on August 16th. After not being able to find it for about 30 minutes, they finally found it. I spent about 2 hours there while they tried different tools to get it to work. Finally after it was entered the technician said that the other key I had brought in now had its fob disabled and they had to re-enter it. This was the first time they had mentioned anything about the process disabling my other keys. I told them that I still had another key at home and asked it that one was now disabled. They said yes. So, after waiting over two weeks with no communication I now had one key that wouldn't work at all at home, one key that would turn the ignition on but the fob wouldn't work to unlock the doors, trunk, etc., and one key (the new one) that actually worked. They said to come back next week with all three keys and they could easily program them all. I came back today with all three. The technician was not able to program the fobs to work; he was only able to get the third key so that it could start the car. He said I had to go to the Subaru dealership to get codes for the other two keys and come back, for a fourth time. As of now, I have one key and fob that works and two (the original two) that only work to start the car, their fobs do not work. I asked for a refund since they clearly cannot perform the work requested and they refused. I am not entirely confident on what the problem is; either the employees working are not trained or are lacking the experience to perform the work, or the business is advertising a service they can only partially complete. Either way, stay away from here.

We were so pleased with his professionalism and workmanship that we ask him to take up a long pending project of ours (upgrade garage door motor to silent belt driven). I spoke to Dave last night, explained the problem in homeowner terms. He read between the dialogue and figured out what the problem was. He was able to come out first thing this morning and confirm his thoughts. He clearly explained what was required to fix it and had the parts and tools in his van to do the repairs. The conversion to a new external spring tension bar only took about an hour, he trued up the builders door track and lubed everything to made sure the door spring and opener were all adjusted for effective operation. The cost was what was quoted at the onset, no hidden fees appeared and everything he did was well explained. No pressure to upgrade my opener to a new unit when it wasn't needed. I sent my garage door issue out for quote with photos - out of five businesses that responded Dave was the only one who pointed out that the springs probably did not need replacement, just cleaning/lubrication. He also listened and ended up agreeing that the opener did not need replacement just re-pairing, and also recommended and installed a lock that enables me to open the door from the outside if the power fails again. Everyone else just tried to sell me all new equipment - which was not necessary. Dave came to check out my door and cometed repairs and maintenance the next day for a very reasonable price. A hinge arm broke on my 65 year old one-piece garage door. Every other repair place wouldn't touch it, they just wanted to sell me a new door(s). I left a message for Dave, since it was after hours. He called and texted me later that night, saying he thought he had the parts and could repair the door. Dave repaired and "tuned up" my entire garage door system, for 10% of the price of 2 new doors.
