My family visited Sourdough Bread House for the first time on a Sunday for brunch with a friend…read more(there were 4 of us). When we walked in, the restaurant was just starting to get busier and the staff seemed slightly unprepared for an influx of guests at that time. We stood at the door for a bit, unsure whether we were supposed to be seated, seat ourselves, or order at the counter first. If you are dining in, then they will provide table service. Once seated, we quickly decided what we wanted to order. My friend was excited to try their Turkish coffee and I was looking forward to trying their Turkish breakfast that I had heard great things about. If you love a good snack plate and enjoy nibbling on a variety of cheese, bread, fruits, veggies, etc. then the Turkish breakfast will be right up your alley. The Turkish breakfast includes cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, a cheese plate with avocado and a fried egg, tahini and molasses, jam, Nutella, local honey, fresh fruit, apricot and walnuts, olives, zahter, ezme, butter, and kaymak. It was enough food for my husband & me to share. It's also served with one glass of Turkish tea and a basket sourdough bread. They're obviously known for their fresh baked sourdough bread and it did not disappoint. I can see why their bread is so popular and it was nearly already sold out for the day. While everyone we encountered was very friendly, the service was a little spotty, and no one ever came back to check on us once the food came. They forgot to bring the tea and Turkish coffee for my friend. Once we walked up to the counter to remind them, they brought it very quickly. No one ever came with the check, so we ended up paying at the counter. Not sure if that's the normal process, but it was unclear. Overall, we did enjoy it, but maybe it was just an off day from a service stand point.

Decided to order take out at O-Town since it had such high reviews. We ordered through their online…read moresystem which was efficient. The prices were great and they had a LOT of food options, especially wing flavors. We decided to go with hot buffalo and lemon pepper. My boyfriend ordered the o-town burger since he LOVES mushrooms. The two things that kept me from giving a fifth star was that my boyfriend didn't like the mushrooms and thinks they are from a can. The other thing is I am a buffalo wing snob and the sauce was good but the wings were too dry. But that is partially my fault cuz i should just order them extra saucy or extra sauce on side. Lemon pepper had good flavor but i just tend to like classic buffalo more than other flavors. Those french fries though! That seasoning was SO good. I did appreciate the way they packaged the two wing flavors and fries so they didn't cross contaminate and screw up the flavors. My boyfriend went inside to pick up (counter service) and said it was bustling and full of people which is always a good sign. There is plenty of parking and they were super quick at getting the order ready. Nothing was missing from the order also. So overall i can see why this place is highly rated. It had vibes of being a neighborhood hot spot.

There was a generous amount of meat that was proportioned well with the salad. I did taste the lemon pepper wings. They were flavorful and did not have an overpowering amount of lemon pepper. Moving to Orlando meant leaving behind a community I had built for myself where I used to live,…read moreincluding connections to locals who could reliably supply groceries that allowed me to cook the food of my father's family. It's difficult to express how meaningful it is to find an upstanding establishment that serves as a pillar to YOUR community. Besides the selection of more niche groceries (reasonably priced, and often in bulk size!), their deli food is phenomenal, with a wide range of sweet and savory options. My only regret after eating the falafel sandwich is that I finished it before I had a chance to take a picture. The proprietors were friendly and patient, and created an atmosphere such that every customer felt like a distant cousin come to visit. I strongly recommend any people of Middle Eastern, North African, or Middle Eastern descent give Cedar Halal a try - and all the rest of Orlando for that matter - as I will definitely be returning in the future.

The smell of the meet cooking was fantastic. I was here to get some Kibbeh for my wife, that was so good I was not able to take pictures of them. This place has been here for more than 20 years but it's easy to miss. We will be back to try some of the other offering and maybe pick up some of the other items because this is also a small convenience store.

If you're looking fresh, delicious, and flavorful food then you must try this Syrian food truck!…read more I don't think there is much Syrian specific options in the area. They are a food truck located behind a Smoke Shop on 17-92 in Longwood. We ordered the Double Arabi Shawarma. They cooked the shawarma fresh for us and the garlic sauce was top tier! We also ordered the dessert, it was like a rice pudding topped with cooked kunafa and pistachios, i love dessert and loved this!!! They were so friendly with top service and the ambiance was great with a beautiful lake view. We definitely plan to go again to try the Toshka and another version of the dessert!

We ordered the toshka, which is lamb meat with cheese and it comes with a garlic sauce, pickles, tomatoes and a little coleslaw for $14. Another item we ordered was the sujuk for $13. Of the two I preferred this one, it felt more filling. It's bread pressed with pickles, tomatoes and the same minced lamb filling that's in the toshka. You can make the sujuk a meal for an extra $2.50, it will come with fries and a soda. Everything we had tasted good but I felt like the portions were kind of small. The meat was a very thin layer and we both left feeling hungry still. I also didn't like that there was no actual menu in person, we already looked it up online, so we knew what we wanted but the menu doesn't share much details of what a "make it a meal" includes. For what we ordered it seemed to take a considerably long time to make, around 20 minutes. Overall it was nice to try something different, but I was unimpressed with the portion size for the prices.
