This was my first time at Filo and zi have to say that it was an all around winner of a meal. Think something like a Chipotle, but for Mediterranean food snd you are beginning to get the idea. The service here was absolutely fantastic. The girl who made my bowls was friendly and added to my overall experience. I also enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. It was bright and comfortable. I did get my order to-go, but I would enjoy to enjoy my neal here next time. I went with a gyro bowl and for my base, I went with both French fries and rice. I also had them load up the bowl with all kinds of goodies. Price-wise, it was pretty good. Two huge plates and it wasn't even thirty dollars. I would definitely recommend here. read more

We found Filo almost by accident -- my husband had a work event at a wine bar in the same plaza, and as we were leaving and debating where to grab a late dinner, we saw this spot and decided to give it a try. So glad we did. The concept is very Chipotle-style, but for Greek food. You walk down the line and build your meal exactly how you want it: * Choose a base (pita, greens, fries, or rice) * Pick your protein (I went with the traditional gyro; my husband chose the honey balsamic chicken -- and WOW. It was so good I'm ordering that next time.) * Add toppings * Scoop on hummus and feta dips * Finish with sauces Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. My gyro had that classic savory richness you expect, but the honey balsamic chicken completely stole the show -- tender with a sweet-tangy depth that balanced beautifully with the toppings. The space is casual with simple metal seating inside and outside. No table service -- you order at the line and seat yourself -- which makes it easy for a relaxed dinner. The staff was especially helpful when we mentioned it was our first time, patiently walking us through options without rushing us. Our total was $40.49 for two people, which felt very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. We left full and genuinely impressed. Just decided to check out Filo looking for a healthy dinner. Everything at Filo Mediterranean Kitchen tastes incredibly fresh. The vegetables are roasted, colorful, and clearly prepped daily. Lots of healthy choices! They also have a great selection of sauces and veggies, so you can customize everything exactly how you like it. Each sauce has its own flavor without overpowering the food, and the variety keeps it interesting. I absolutely love their cilantro garlic sauce and their tzatziki sauce was phenomenal too. I highly recommend getting their honey chicken with a base of rice or kale and all of the vegetables that you want to try. I really loved that they had roasted cauliflower too. I love the variety and the staff accommodating me on my first visit with all my questions about the sauces, meats, and veggies. Ordered delivery , tried filo for the first time! Sooo impressed by this place! Think Chipotle for Mediterranean food. I got a balsamic chicken bowl and it was ridiculously good! Also tried the feta fries which I loved! We tried the kataif dessert which tasted like baklava ( I had to question if they sent baklava instead) lol The portions were plentiful. My bowl lasted two meals . I can't speak to the ambiance since it was delivery but I can say my order was packaged very well. The food was nice and hot and tasted fresh. One of my fav lunch restos in Lake Mary. I tried their roasted lamb and also the harissa braised brisket bowl and i crave it when I am back home in Seattle. Its high quality ingredients with amazing blend of mediterranean spices and the bowl is a flavor bomb. I always get mine with roasted veggies, beet hummus, kale, feta and its deliciously filling. Have also tried their chocolate baklava and its good. I will be back every time to devour their lunch bowls. They have a pretty wide selection of proteins and lots of choices for toppings! We ordered a gyro with brisket, which was pretty good, very tender and the portion was great! We also got a street bowl, which is French fry base! So goody especially because they fried them up fresh to order. Maybe not an option if you're in a hurry, but I appreciate when food is hot and crispy! The staff were very courteous and attentive and took time to explain the variety of options! Wandered into Filo Mediterranean on Easter because nothing else was open and was so pleased to find fresh meats, delicious food bowl, salad and pita options, and toppings. For those of you who love Cava, it's Cava without the commercial feel. It's smaller, feels a little more person, and the food was so tasty! They let us sample all the different meats before we ordered and I and so glad we did because I would have opted for the traditional chicken pita, but once I tried the lamb I was done! That lamb was so tender and seasoned perfectly. Everything tasted fresh and not overly salted. We signed up for rewards and already earned $5 off our next meal. We will be back! Glad I was in the area to try this place out. Similar to Cava, which I do enjoy going. Many options to choose from and the flavor combinations are great. I got half rice and half kale that had dressing on top. I also got the season chicken with cauliflower and carrrots. Plus chick peas, cucumbers with tomatoes and regular humus and beet hummus. This is a new Mediterranean restaurant in Lake Mary and we were blown away. They have different base options such as rice bowls, salad bowls, pitas and fries as a base, YES I said fries! After you choose your base they have a ton of different protein options. We got the balsamic chicken, but also tried a sample of the brisket which was so juicy. Then they have different vegetable options, sauces, and you have to top it off with feta cheese. We also tried three of their different baklava flavors and they were all delicious. We were told their cookies are made in house so definitely giving that a try next time! This restaurant is a great addition to the Lake Mary area. read more

Portions are small and even if you're willing to pay for extra protein ( chicken or brisket) you'll only get an additional 3 or 4 small pieces.
