We were walking around Old Town and wanted to get something to eat after a long day at the water park. The gyros were screaming our names and we went in to order a couple of them. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and took our order. The wait was longer than expected. I'm not sure if it was because the guy behind the counter was taking orders as well as cooking. I'm not sure if he was the only one that was working and doing it all. It's a lot to take on for one person. I got a standard gyro plain with tzatziki sauce. It was wrapped in a pita bread and it was delicious. I couldn't finish all of it since it was so much. The owner was amazingly welcoming and so good at his craft! His employee was the life of the party!! They literally took a dining experience to a whole new level! We weren't even hungry but walking by twice we couldn't help but find out what the hell was smelling so good. We walked in and met George the owner who was so courteous,genuine,thoughtful,giving and truly wanting to please all his customers. A true restaurant owner that puts his food first and not the price!! His generosity is out of this world and in these days rare to find and encounter. He pulled out bread, his own homemade hot sauce and garlic paste. OMFG to the garlic paste!!! One of the best things I ever had and would literally eat this with everything! He was so proud that he just gave the recipe out!! We walked out with 3 gyros and the ultimate nachos. Sooooo good and his personality made the food 20x better. If your planning a trip to old town definitely stop in and have your own experience with George!! Wow what can I say. The president ate there food so it's got to be good. The have a triditional lamb beef mix but the flavor wow. They gave us samples and the meat was so juicy. 5.95 for a gyro so stuffed with meat that you can't even fold it close without eating some first. The staff was so friendly. Chose this restaurant because it was close to my hotel and because I wanted to have a quick tv dinner. Gyro is really really good though it is not easy to eat (unless many gyros you can find, meat tomatoes ans salad are not wrapped in the pita bread but just put on it).
