Baked potato
Barrett G.

Really friendly staff, very knowledgable. Baked potato is huge! The sandwiches are made on the spot & definitely feels fresh. Had a good experience and would go again. Better than the next door pub sub.

The rewards program.

Food - delicious, staff - friendly, rewards program - concerning. I love McAlister's and stopped in to get the McAlister's Club sandwich and it was so delicious. I wish there was one closer to where I lived, but what can you do? I know I'll be back the next time I'm in the area. My concern is with the rewards program. Don't get me wrong, I'm a points fanatic, any program I can join, I do. As I sat there I was reading their information about the rewards and how you can redeem them, and it was shocking. It was like this, for every $1 you spend, you get 10 points. Now, you redeem 1,500 points to get an entree of your choice. Great! But is it? So 1,500 points, divided by 10 points, is 150. That means the reward that you get has a value of $150 dollars. Really?!?!?! Is it with it?

I had never been here and decided to stop by for a quick lunch. They offer soups, sandwiches and salads, etc...it reminded me kind of like a Panera. Service was good, place was clean, the food was just okay. I've definitely had better soups and sandwiches. Nothing went wrong, I'm just not sure this is somewhere I'd return to, there's just too many other options that seem better.

Country Potato Soup and Black Angus Club

We visited McAlister's today for lunch. I heard that it was a great neighborhood spot for lunch. You order at the counter, take a number and head to your table. They offer a variety of soups, sandwiches and salads. Also featuring a choose two option if you're into that. I had the black angus club with country potato soup. The sandwich was decent and the soup lacked flavor. The portions are also on the smaller side. My partner had a grilled cheese and chili. Overall the food was okay. I am sure we will give McAlister's another try again in the near future. The server pointed out a few of his favorites and it's close to our house.

Pecanberry salad and New Yorker

Excellent deli sandwiches, quickly prepared. Lots of choices and generous portions, even in the pick two categories. Nice to have nachos as one of the pick two choices. Really enjoyed my New Yorker with the Pecanberry salad.

This is the Chicago style French dip...

I've been wanting to try McAlister's Deli, I was actually excited to try this--and I couldn't be more disappointed. I ordered through Uber Eats and had issues with multiple items. The sweet tea was unsweet (wrong item). The carrot cake was hard and clearly not fresh. The chicken and dumplings were completely broken down into mush--there were no actual dumplings left. The steak sandwich had very little flavor and an odd texture, and it included chunks of raw carrots that weren't mentioned. For the price the sandwichis extremely small if you are a grown man you will need 2. This whole experience was extremely disappointing. This felt like poor quality control across the entire order, and I wouldn't order from here again. The only edible item was the potato salad and they don't even give you a full spoonful. I would not recommend ordering from here.I would go elsewhere.

Friendly staff, clean restaurant. Excellent sandwich. A bit on the expensive side. Sorry I only took a pic of 1:4 of the sandwich ( I was hungry.

My wife wanted to stop in as she was stoked we finally got a McAlister's, so we did just that. This is a beautiful new restaurant located in a new shopping center. I ordered the chose two and my choices were the horseradish roast beef and cheddar, and a grilled chicken salad. I was very happy with my meal, I thought the portions were good for the price and the food was very fresh. I loved my sandwich, and I must say the bread was so soft and fresh. My wife ordered a chose two as well with a french dip and a side of mac and cheese. There is an upcharge for the mac and cheese and my wife mentioned was not worth it. She did say the french dip was really good. We split an iced team with peach added to it and thought it was so good yea we got a refill. The staff at the counter was friendly. We did find it out that one employee asked the text next to us if she could clear their table and offered them refills, but that was the only table to ever be offered refills and to be cleared. Once she did that she went back behind the counter and chatted with another employee. This does not change my opinion of the place, it was just an observation. I would stop back in as I thought the food was very good.

Its basically a knock off Panera. Problem is you're paying almost $20 for essentially a kids portion of food. The potato soup was terrible. It was basically water with a couple chunks of potato. The chicken club was decent, flavor wise. The entire portion was smaller than an appetizer that you would order at a restaurant. I don't see this place lasting long here with the current set up. It was definitely a one and done for me.

Chicken Tortilla Soup

I'm a huge fan of McAlister's Deli from my grad school days in Gainesville. It was a better version of Panera before anyone had heard of Panera and it still is a huge leap above. They serve sandwiches, salads, soups and such. McAlister's is also well known for their spuds, or baked potatoes loaded with toppings. I also highly recommend their iced tea. I was so stoked that a McAlister's was finally opening in this area, but I will say it is in a rapidly growing area where it may face quite a bit of competition. I hope it survives. I've been to this new location several times and partaken in my favorite dish which is their tortilla soup. It is a cheesy chicken soup spiced with green chiles and roasted peppers. It is served with tortilla chips on the side that you can dip or crumble in the soup. Although the food has lived up to my memory I will say that my experience at this location so far hasn't been quite up to par. Every time I have walked in I have been greeted by a host of dirty tables which is really unappealing. When I was there earlier this week it appeared only 2 people were working (1 in front and 1 in back). I hope they get the kinks out soon because I am real fan of the food.

Overall 3.75 Stars…read more If you need a healthy alternative to heavy laden carbs or fried / rich foods, then this place is for you. After spending a day at a theme park and eating their options, it was nice to "clean" your body out with a good and healthy salad. Located on Sand Lake road near Publix and multiple eateries, this place has a wide selection of salads, sandwiches, and a limited selection of soups. Ambiance: 3.5 Stars The place was clean and has plentiful seating. Ranging from bar style or bench and tables. It is Deli style when ordering. Go to the back and select the type of salads, rice / couscous, soups, or sandwiches. There are pre-fixed options or you can build your own bowl. The eatery was clean, open and airy. Natural lighting was pleasant with the large front windows. It would have been a higher star rating for the ambiance, but the bathrooms needed some work. Though it was clean and roomy, there was no soap and limited toilet paper. Staff: 3.5 Stars Deli The employees were friendly and professional. Our server assisted us with questions and our selections. However, with the middle Eastern dialect and his ability to speak at a rate of the sound barrier, he had to repeat a few times for us to understand. Note: His patience was much appreciated. Food: 3.75 Stars We all chose several different salads. Three were pre-fixed and one was customized. 1. Shanghai Chicken Salad - 3.5 Stars Roasted chicken, edamame, scallions, almonds, cilantro, red cabbage, romaine perfectly paired with miso sesame vinaigrette Contains: Nuts, Soy I chosen the chopped romaine leaves as the base. It was light and flavorful from the dressing. However the chicken was a little bit overcooked and dry. The condiments were plentiful and fresh. Though it was good and had protein, I felt somewhat satisfied. I could eaten another bowl. 2. Chicken Shawarma - 4 Stars Blackened diced chicken thigh, kale, hummus, baba ghanoush, pickles, Israeli salad with Greek yogurt and tahini dressing. The based options are rice melody or couscous. I chose the rice melody. This bowl was more satisfying than the Shanghai Chicken Salad. The chicken tasted juicy, tender and flavorful. Choosing a thigh instead of breast brings the umami flavor of the chicken. The fresh veggies and tahini dressing was a perfect match for this option. 3. Santa Fe Salad - 3.5 Stars avocado, corn, local jack & cheddar, grape tomatoes, onions, tortilla chips, local kale, romaine, perfectly paired with chipotle-lime vinaigrette with a fresh lime squeeze. My sister added chicken thigh and avocado Chimichurri dressing. She said it was tasty. 4. South Beach - 3 Stars craisins, walnuts, green apples, blue cheese, local mesclun, romaine, perfectly paired with balsamic vinaigrette. My wife added chicken and swapped the walnuts for pumpkin seeds. The diced breast chicken was slightly dry and seasoning was lacking. The salad itself was good but wasn't too satisfying. 5. Customized Salad - 3.25 Stars My niece chose to customize her salad bowl. She chose chicken, romaine lettuces, shaved Parmesan cheese, cucumbers, edamame, and other veggie ingredients. She chose the avocado Chimichurri dressing which she liked. NOTE: they offer breakfast items and coffee. Selection of various drinks are from a deli refrigerator and they carry some Kombucha options too. Enjoy!

Tons of great options if you're looking to eat some fresh and healthy. I ordered the Wok bowl and although it sounded like my cup of tea, it didn't taste like it. The bowl itself looked delicious, and the rice and chicken were both actually warm to my surprise! The rice itself however was a little hard and the chicken was a bit bland. I wish I would've asked for the sauce on the side or maybe added some sauce to my chicken to give it more flavor as all my sauce ended up on the veggies and really didn't enhance absorb the peanut sauce (which was great). I will say this bowl was packed and honestly offered a good amount of food for the price (~$14 to 15) I would definitely give this place another chance because there were definitely other items that caught my eye. One can argue it's still that way, but I didn't think that this place was as nice as it was! We parked at the parking garage and walked over instead of doing valet. Even at 9pm this area was very busy, including this restaurant. We had a reservation and were led to a half-table/half booth opposite the bar area which was pretty loud from the the music but we made due. The decor is very Hamptons, NY, beach house vibes. The bathrooms were nearby kinda. You had to walk down a long hall to them but once you get there they are gorgeous, spacious and clean. I got one drink, the Cucumber Elderflower (vodka, st. germain, cucumber, lemon, basil oil) and it was beautiful looking. It tasted great as well. I tried to go easy on eating but that was hard lol. I personally got the half dozen raw oysters, half east coast and half west coast. My fiance got the Crab and Shrimp Bruschetta to share ( lump crab and shrimp with sweet chili aioli on crispy ciabatta). Wow, these were so delicious and creamy, not to mention the generous portion of crab and shrimp topping. This can get messy if you don't pay attention. I had ordered the Seafood Gnocchi (pillowy asiago gnocchi with shrimp, calamari, and P.E.I. mussels in a calabrian chili tomato garlic sauce) and he got the Blackened Sea Bass ( barramundi with coconut rice, broccolini, mango salsa, and spicy mango purée ). A manager had delivered these to our table and was very excited to come back later to see what we thought about these dishes as they were fairly new. I loved my gnocchi! the sauce was not too spicy but brought the right amount of heat and kick to the dish. The seafood was fresh but cheese inside the gnocchi was the star. So good! I never thought asiago could be so dang tasty. He loved his sea bass. I tasted a little bit of it and it was cooked perfectly, seasoned, flaky, and light. I had a really good dinner here and I'll think twice about I-Drive restaurants.

Easily the best thing we ordered and I'd come back just for those. Overall, it's a really cute spot with a great vibe, good food, and I'd definitely go back.

I went with my brother and sister-in-law, and the food was excellent. The lemon pepper dry rub wings were absolutely amazing--crispy, flavorful, and seasoned perfectly. They were so good I jokingly wanted to bite my fingers afterward! I also tried the Honey Thai wings, but they just weren't for me because I don't really enjoy spicy food. That's completely a personal preference, though. The edamame was fresh and tasty, and the appetizers we shared were all very good. Even though the restaurant was completely packed, the service was impressive. I expected a long wait, but I was seated almost immediately, and our server kept everything moving smoothly despite how busy it was. The only downside is the parking. There isn't convenient parking directly in front of the restaurant, so you'll need to park in the nearby garage, take the elevator down, and walk over. The good news is that parking on the top floor is free. Along the walk, there were several outdoor vendors selling fresh fruit drinks, roasted corn, sweet treats, and small shopping items, which made the walk a little more enjoyable. Overall, this Yard House delivered great food, efficient service, and a fun atmosphere. There were several places to choose from, but this one seemed like a good fit because it wasn't overly loud, and we wanted to be able to hear each other. We initially sat outside, but we were told they had stopped serving the outdoor seating area, so we moved inside. Rather than wait for a server, we decided to order directly from the bar since it seemed like the faster option. There weren't enough seats at the bar for our group of five, so we grabbed a nearby booth. The bartender was friendly, and our drinks were excellent. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. Although people were not coming in, but some people were eating, and enjoying drinks throughout the restaurant, it seemed like the staff had started cleaning up for the night. A server came over, and we explained that we were only there for drinks. After we received our drinks from the bar, he returned and told us that we would soon have to get up so he could clean the table. Seriously? I looked around and saw several other tables where some guests were simply sitting, talking, and enjoying their drinks. They weren't eating either. It made us feel as though, because we had only ordered beverages, we weren't as welcome as everyone else. I chose not to let one person's behavior ruin our evening because I'd rather believe that one employee doesn't represent the entire establishment. In fact, the bartender was great, and the drinks were very well made. What disappointed me was the server's attitude. I wasn't aware that ordering drinks at a restaurant with a full bar wasn't enough to be considered a paying customer, especially when there weren't enough bar stools to accommodate our group. His approach came across as rude, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. Needless to say, we were not going to get up until we had finished out drinks, and we did not. I may return to try the food because the drinks were impressive, but if I ever encounter that same server again, I definitely won't be sitting in his section.
