He was so knowledgeable, helpful, passionate and friendly. He took the time to explain to us about every goodie that would be the best match for our fur babies. As soon as we got home the babies enjoyed some of the goodies. They're picky and highly approved. Thank you Roger we will absolutely be repeat customers. The prices are so much better than chewy or other pet stores which was surprising. The Ingredients are healthy, fresh & are made in house or in the USA. They also have a great rewards program.

However probably in the last 12-14 months they can't seem to keep groomers. What this has meant is appointments are hard to get, sometimes the earliest being 3-4 months out. We have been requesting the same style cut on our golden the last 5-6 times but recently the quality in cut has decreased and our most recent visit they barely did a cut at all yet still charged us over $100 and kept him for 4 hours. It was not the cut we requested and instead of being apologetic, they more or less shrugged and said the groomer was new and would do better next time. The only concession we got was they would move his cut up and would get him in earlier to cut his hair correctly. That was back in April/May. Our appointment was set for early July but we couldn't remember the exact date so my wife called and was shockingly told that our appointment didn't exist anymore because another groomer quit. There was no attempt by Bridgemill to notify us of this change. The customer experience has been nothing but poor since 2023 and we will be taking our business elsewhere to find more consistent grooming. I don't know what's going on with this place that all their groomers keep quitting but it has ended up meaning a serious decline in service and consistency yet their prices keep rising or staying the same.

With what my puppy and I call going to the "beauty shop," Bridgemill Pet's "beauty shop" did a wonderful job and once again my 11+ year old Scotty "Daisy" looked marvelous! (She's beautiful anyway and her daddy tells her that all the time). So I highly recommend Bridgemill Pets and they're more than just a grooming shop, they are well stocked with high quality pet food and supplies. My husband and I and our two young boys frequent here often- especially when our boy Abe was really sick with cancer. I noticed a few times they would have attitudes but just tried to ignore it. Today we were excited to bring our sweet rescued 5 month old boy that we've only had a week. He had two accidents and they acted extremely annoyed and said nothing just handed my husband over the paper towels and spray. They also were not helpful with helping to find a good food and were just wanting to get out of there. (We got there an hour before they closed) I guess people just think they can behave however and nothing ever be said but that's not how a business operates. We will return to the Barrett one as they are always kind, empathetic and welcoming.

Firstly when we walked in Lauren came around to meet Georgia and took the time to let her smell her and she talked to her . Once Georgia was more comfortable with Lauren she slipped the lead around her neck. I had to walk towards the door for Georgia to go BUT as soon as she went through the door , Lauren had complete control . I usually ask for 2 people because of her weight and her fear but Lauren was confident and asked me if she could try herself. I was fine with that because my baby seemed relaxed and comfortable with her . I walked outside the building to make it easier for my baby and me . When I walked back in Georgia was behind the counter with Lauren and when Georgia saw me she put her paws up on the counter. She looked adorable relaxed and happy (and like she worked there LOL ) Not even my vet can trim her nails so it's a blessing that pet play place is there to do it . They have qualified , compassionate and amazing people for me to trust my dog with . I highly recommend them . But always be upfront and give them any info that will help them take care of your dog better.( like me telling them Georgia's fear of nail cuts and strangers) Thank you Lauren for being so amazing with my baby .
