It's on Roswell Rd, just past Johnson Ferry in a strip mall type complex. Plenty of parking. But it's a good little trek from my house, so it will never become a regular spot for us. Greeted me as soon as I hit the door. Answered all my questions. Made suggestions. Told me all about their history and their pups. I felt welcomed and valued. Overall Overall, the prices were what you'd expect to pay elsewhere. Gizmo eats Fromme dog food and they had a pretty good selection - and they have the same prices as the store I typically shop at. I bought Gizmo some belated birthday treats and I gotta tell you, they look like human food - technically they are - but you know what I mean. Lol. I purchased a bag of dog food, a little argyle doggy sweater vest and several bakery items. Gizmo thoroughly enjoyed the treats I've given him so far. This was my first time ever going to a dog bakery! Mr. Teddy is the first dog I've ever owned so I am new to a lot of things fur parents do. I ordered my little rascal a birthday cake and bought him several freshly baked treats which he absolutely loved. The ladies at this shop were very sweet and helpful throughout the entire selection process. I would highly recommend this store to any pet owner. The staff was welcoming, attentive and kind. They helped me out with making two woof cakes for my Corgi that just turned a year old. Okay pet owners!!!! This place is AWESOME. My dog Draco turned 4 so of course we have to party. I called them as soon as they opened to order a cake for my baby! They were so friendly. This local place is the best. The ladies here are so helpful and can save you tons of $ in vet bills with natural solutions for common dog ailments. They are extremely knowledgeable and helped me pick out the right food for my dog. Okay - yeah . . I highly recommend this place. I have to young cats (7 month old boys and growing fast!). When I adopted them 3 weeks ago, I made the gradual switch from their good foster home kibble of Merrick (because it had potato and other stuff I did not like in it) and Fancy Feast (YUK! And their POO!! PHEW!) to Orijen Kitten and Cat food and Nutro canned food. I ordered Orijen once from Pet Flow, but decided I could not keep counting on delivery (FedEx would not leave it without a signature), no matter how convenient. So, I looked for a local source. One store was closed Sundays, the other was having an issue with their distributor so had none in stock. But, Dog City Bakery was not only opened on Sunday, but they had all three flavors in stock - at cheaper prices than ANY online pet supply outlet! And they are not far from my home and also are on the way home from work. But, how was their customer service? Top notch! When I told the lady behind the counter I was a new customer, that I had cats, and wanted to also try and see if they liked freeze dried raw - even though she gave me their 100% food satisfaction or bring it back for a refund guarantee (and they have the brand I want), she gave me 4 free samples, one each of two brands for my kitties! She informed me that the second brand they did not carry, but if my boys liked it, she would order it just for me. Now, that is customer service! Reasonable prices for premium quality food, convenient location, and great customer service. What is not to love! They have a customer for as long as they stay in business and I have pets. read more

This is a cute little store located in East Cobb and it's a dog lover's dream. They have the obvious clothing items - even professional sports gear - for your dogs and they also have fresh made doggy biscuits. The biscuits they make look good enough for me to eat. They also have a good selection of doggy toys. I received a feeding station with a bowl for food an water in a nice wire tray as a gift from here. The ceramic bowls say "STUD" and are nicely decorated with subtle detailing which is great for a boy dog. I have been impressed with the quality of these bowls. I put the bowls in the dishwasher many times and there have been no chips in the ceramic or fading on the lettering/design. Dog City Bakery also sells higher end holistic dog foods and their prices are comparable to the competitors in the area. I'm not in this area often but when I am I like to stop and pick up some goodies for my dog. After all he is a good boy :) read more

I like to stop in at Dog City Bakery sometimes to pick up freshly baked treats for my parent's dog. This bakery has the cutest treats, especially holiday themed treats sometimes! Our family's dog gobbles them up, so I guess they are delicious. The owners are ALWAYS warm and kind, which is always a good reason to go back. I like that they have unique items, from treats to collars to food and almost every other dog-related item you can imagine. Some things seem a little on the pricey side, such as animal sweaters, etc but they are probably better quality than what you might find at most chain pet-supply stores. We used to love this place until very recently.... The MANAGER recommended "a popular treat" to us for our dog's birthday. After taking it home, our dog refused to eat it. We smeared peanut butter on it to make it more appealing, but nothing worked! My mom brought the treat back the next day and asked if she could exchange it for something else. She was turned down, because they "don't take back treats". She pointed out that there is no sign posted that says that. She asked for a tiny cheap treat in exchange, just so that it wasn't a total waste of her $5.00. The associate said he couldn't help her. She reminded him that it was HIS manager that convinced her to buy this treat! It would be good customer service to just give her ANYTHING else in exchange. He ROLLED HIS EYES and said NO. Guess what? You just lost a good customer. In the future, we'll be going to your competitors for all future dog toys and treats. read more
