Bargos will always be one of my Top recommendations when I think about good food and a good drink. This was not my first time here but this was my first time trying the Bargos burger and I would highly recommend getting that burger so good and bursting with flavor. I am not so happy with my experience today and I was definitely looking forward to coming here. I ordered 8 traditional wings, and 8 bonus with two different sauces. The first time the order came out the sauce for the boneless wings was on the traditional wings and vice versa. Then after 15-20 mins the order came out wrong again so I had to send my food back. There was no I'm sorry your order was made wrong/ keep these while we work on your order or compensation for the fact it took 2 times for my order to get sent back to come out correctly the 3rd time. Each time the bartender kept asking me (with an attitude) what was made verse what should have been made. I don't know anymore shoot all I'm trying to figure out is why I don't have 8 Caribbean jerk wings in my face right now. When I first ordered the food it was only 3 other people there with me so I'm not sure why the order kept being messed up and why it took so long to get the food. After the 2nd send back it was maybe a total of 10 people there and I seen a few people send food back to the kitchen. If you are looking for a super casual place to watch the game with friends and grab a drink, then this seems to be a cool place to do so, especially on weekend. Came here as a recommendation from a family member, for their burgers. Me and my group decided to eat-in. Plenty of TVs with the game showing? Check? Available seating? Check. Parking? Tight! Seating? There's indoor and outdoor. Clean tables? Not so much, so we're limited in where we could sit because tables around us either had people sitting there or were nasty and needed to be bussed ( there were 4 people working behind the bar and no other visible staff, maybe except in the kitchen, so any one of the workers could have done wiped the tables down...eventually someone came and did it). Food/drink orders are placed at the bar (amidst the crowd, so we had to wait for someoneto acknowledge us). Two folks in my party ordered sodas, but the drinks were flat. I let someone know that the tanks needed to be changed, they claimed that everything was fine, but clearly it was not. Instead of offering an alternative drink option for us, they just gave us a refund (after it had been requested). I went with a Bacon Cheeseburger and tater tots. Though the burger was not exactly made the way I requested, I just took off what I didn't want and ate anyway. The burger was ok. The burger platters do come with chips. I also ordered the tater tots which are loaded, so the tots are huge and filling. Those weren't that bad..i definitelycouldn't finish it all. Service was average at best. In a nutshell, lower your expectations when coming if here for the food, it seems to mainly to be about the vibes, the game (on the tv's), and the alcohol, so if that is what you're into, then this is your place. read more

This review will be short and sweet. We had a group of 50-60 meeting up for a gathering here. There was one side of the restaurant reserved for our group, which was perfect. We all had to go up to the bar to order food and drinks, which was fine because it would've been a nightmare to split checks and keeps things straight. Soooooo...the wings were really good!!!! I don't often find amazing jerk saucy wings, but they had them here and they had a kick and surprisingly, they ended up being my favorite of the 4 flavors we tried! The drinks were cheap/reasonable too, and there's happy hour til 7. I don't know if that's 7 days a week, but it went til 7 on the Friday we were just there. I would DEFINITELY go back. What can I say about a bar that has a large menu but only 2 servers doing all the work? I don't blame service being slow for this reason but the bartenders were trying to accommodate for 30+ people. They need to hire specific waiters and bartenders to help out the restaurant. Food was ehhh. Everything seems really fried for most of the menu. I'm usually really big on promoting small businesses but today I Went there for lunch for the first time and asked for medium rare Black and Blue burger to be told they make it how they make it,well ok then....when it did show up it was definitely Black and Burnt the top and bottom bun was old and hard as a rock on the edges all the way around I could've used it as a frisbee for my dog but I wouldn't do that to my dog...the burger was 1/2thick yet burnt 1/4 inche through on each side just extremely overcooked all the way around the patty had no flavor and burnt the blue cheese was OK at best but to be honest I've gotten a juicier tasting burger from Wendy's or Burger King... if you're looking to get drunk, they have a bar... but the burger was like chewing on shoe leather... recommend they get some fresh products and hire someone who can actually cook... read more

Usually, I try to scope out the highest rated spots. This one wasn't highly rated, so I thought it might've been a fluke. Nope. It is actually mediocre. We ordered a few drinks at the bar. The beer selection is on point. The Bloody Mary was horrible, they use the Mr. & Mrs. T's mix, which is the most acidic mix there is and with the load of Tabasco... yuck! The Purple Rain specialty drink was great though, it's basically a purple Long Island iced tea. My husband and I ordered a 12 piece order of wings, and for an extra $2 they made them all drum sticks. My half was the BBQ version and they were slammin'! The crunch under the sauce was just how I like it. Five stars for the drum sticks! My husband's half was the Cajun dry rub, he said that they weren't spicy. We also ordered loaded cheese fries, but those didn't arrive until awhile after the chicken. And they didn't come with the diced jalapeños on the side. I'm slightly allergic, so I only had a few. The fries were shoe string cut and the beer cheese was tasty. The service was ok, even with the fry mishaps, but the weird thing was the employees gossiping about the owner and complaining about other things. Went to catch a OSU night game. New place moved up the road about a couple of miles. They also have a bar in Centerville. Good draft beer selection about 20 to choose. Food not a big menu but pizza ok and burgers, salad and there specialty is chicken tenders. I had the tenders they were good. Be prepared to leave at midnight they close then. Was a bit disturbed some non OSU fan who worked there was happy to turn off the volume of the TV 15 minutes before midnight. I really wanted to hear the celebration on tv. But anyhoo good place. My husband and I ventured here looking for a chill bar without the rowdy crowd. This is a super chill spot with affordable drinks. Disheartening to find out that they don't sell cognac and patron. There is only one reason they don't sell that.....they don't want a certain type of crowd (which is why I took away a star). I just feel there are other ways to cater to the crowd you are trying to attract; removing cognac and patron definitely has a racial undertone and really makes me not want to return. Hello, professionals drink cognac and patron too. Not sure if I will return. If I do go back, it will be for the tots and wings which both speak for themselves. Staying in the area for a basketball tournament, was filling up on gas and the coolest lady recommended we go there for the ambience and the great bar food. Her suggestion did not disappoint. This place is a great bar stop. They have very friendly staff, tasty pub food and a fun casual atmosphere. I have been here a few times with the family and we have enjoyed every time. The wraps are good but the boneless wings are better! This time we grabbed a dozen with 4 different sauces. The jerk and the spicy Thai were my favorites. The Sriracha Ranch was a close 3rd. The kids had quesadillas and pretzels and I would choose the Quesadillas first, they were big meaty and grilled perfectly! The pretzels were a little greasy for me. The salad came with a mound of chicken on it and fantastic assortment of veggies for a bar salad. The draft selection is large and diverse. They even had a good selection of local beers including Madtree, Rhinegiest, 50West and Uvran Artifact! The whole place smelled like smoke, even inside where it was no smoking. It took them over an hour to bus the rest of the long table we were sitting at. They were severely understaffed and did not make up for it with any type of friendliness or customer service. Aside from one woman who was older with straight blonde hair (she was great) the other three employees I encountered were awful - standoffish, didn't make eye contact, and completely ignored me when I stepped up to the bar to order multiple times. The first drink I received from the bartender was absolutely horrible. I barely sipped it and returned to the bar to get something else. It took over 15 minutes, two different bars, and three different bartenders passing me to be acknowledged. (Again it was the blonde woman that finally approached me when she saw I was being ignored by the bartender (long dark hair) in that section.) Once my bartender saw the nice employee approach me she stepped in as if she hadn't seen me already multiple times. I told her the Long Island drink ordered was too strong and I couldn't drink it. I asked for the Jack and lemonade instead. She just grabbed my drink, dumped it without a word and made the new one. Never apologizing or speaking at all. And the second one was terrible also. Finally the food. It was hot but not what we ordered. I asked for hot bbq wings and received medium Buffalo wings. Bargos only gets two stars because of the one nice bartender and the quesadilla we also ordered was decent. Definitely do not recommend. It is not family friendly or friendly at all for that matter. Very weird vibe the night a group of 3 of us visited. I arrived early and stood at the bar waiting to be served - the 3 bar staff all stood talking and no one came over. After about 5 minutes I walked out and waited for my friends thinking maybe they wont serve a lone female !!!. Anyway when the 3 of us got there they said choose a table and there is no table service for food or drinks you have to order at the bar. After waiting over an hour for my food, I was told that due to the Governor's mandate, they were closing down at 9pm. My food didn't arrive to me until 9:05 at which time I had to ask for a box because I wasn't able to eat it. I spoke to the manager and expressed my displeasure and asked for a refund for a meal I didn't even get to eat. I was told that the owner doesn't do refunds as Fridays and Saturdays are always their busy days and an hour is their typical wait for food ordered. Great Pub to stop at to finish off a day trip to Cincy and Jungle Jim's. Good Burger and solid prices on drinks. Can definitely tell this is the place to be for the locals as the steady stream of seemingly regulars did not stop.
