My daughter and I came here during the Dbacks game and I didn't realize we had to be out on a wait-list in order to sit on the balcony to watch the game. The ladies upfront were very kind and explained the process; not an ounce of rudeness from these folks. We ended up getting a call to sit on the balcony and our server was equally awesome. He was friendly, made great recommendations and was quick. My only complaint here is that they don't communicate when they stop serving food and dessert up front. It's easy to get caught up in the game and lose track of time. We planned to order dessert and apparently the kitchen had already stopped. Still, this was one of the best experiences we have had. The playoffs are here!! We love sitting, eating, and drinking in the draft room. Sadly, last night will probably be our last time doing so. The interaction with the manager, Sal was terrible to say the least! Long story ..we took a "first come first serve" table that had a crappy view, but upon agreeing to sit at this table we asked if a closer table with a better view became available if we could move to it? We were told yes! Even asked our server if the tables in front of ours were in her section and if one became available if we could move and her response was also "yes!" 3rd ending over, and the table in front of us becomes available; we immediately ask our server can we move to that open table to which she says "yes, let me tell the host".. she comes back and says "sorry manager won't let you have that table, but you can go talk to them if you'd like" So I go to the host stand explain my the situation and he immediately says "No you can't have that table it's too hard to move you bcus it's not your serves section" I begin to explain to him that we originally asked our server if it was and etc.. to which he then becomes extremely rude talking over me and not letting me say anything. Sal is a poor excuse for a manager. He is not customer oriented, and simply doesn't care about the customers at all. We ended up staying at our table that had a crappy view even though Sal "the manager" pretty much ruined our night, but we wanted to make the best of it! We couldn't even do that, because of all the people around us blocking us and also sitting at our table with us. People we didn't even know! We wandered around the park later in the game and decided to check out The Draft Room. It's located in Right Field, on the 2nd level. Easy to find and access - all you need is a game ticket (which nobody checks once you are obviously already in the stadium). It's a decent view - something worth checking out for a half inning or so. But if you aren't there early, there won't be any good seats facing the field. The beer selection is better than really anywhere else in the park, focusing on a lot of local selections. The service was pretty slow and not really friendly. We looked at the menu and nothing looked good, so we didn't eat. The decor desperately needs updated. It really looks like they just renamed it and updated the beer list - the carpet is old and dingy and the all wood decor is just old and tired. This place has a ton of potential and after a facelift it would be a great spot. read more

we reserved a table for 4 before game 5 of the World Series. it does not seem they were prepared for this event. While waiting in line the host gave our reserved table to a couple who had no reservation. since it was the last table indoors they proceeded to seat us outside. this would have been great if it was nighttime. it was two o'clock. the sun was blazing hot and there was absolutely no shade anywhere outside. the menu prices were jacked up from the previous week and ridiculously inflated. the food was mediocre at best. the $40 surf and turf nachos were lacking in surf and turf with a big glob of semi-melted cheese. very bland and boring and not a good presentation. the wings were ok but we were given one small plastic cup of dressing to share with 4 people. the service was extremely slow. we wanted to order more drinks and food but the waiter never came back. we did voice our complaint about our table being given away. the host said he would buy us a round of drinks. he never followed through and when we asked the waiter about it he didn't know anything and didn't bother to follow up. overall a disappointing experience. cannot recommend going there for a special event. too pricey, inefficient staff and overpriced food. read more

Good field side place in Chase Field to grab a bite and some fine Four Peaks beer. Wife and I split the nachos. Nachos are pretty good but ask for salsa and hot sauce and they really pop! I really want to like this bar. We are season ticket holders for the dbacks and it's nice to have a place in the park. That is a bit nicer then Friday's or the vendors. We've gone there twice now. With 8 of us for mothers day and then last night. The chefs table has a nice assortment though pricy. Mother's Day there was no seafood or poultry. I don't eat beef or pork. It was $50 a person. A bit much for salads. Last night we went in at the 5th inning. They rushed us to order as the kitchen was closing. Why so early? The food came before the drinks. My cocktail was wrong. The bites menu is very limited. The food was good last night. The service was not. The place has potential but needs a good manager with their eyes open to the needs of the guest. This experience was comped due to a prior review, but it would not effect my rating or opinion of the food. Normally this buffet can cost up to $40 per person, but personally I would say its a $27.95 buffet. I assume the entrees change, but on this night it was two carved meats (brisket, which tasted more like pot roast and a good solid turkey). They had several more hot entrees including spicy orange chicken (good), chorizo potatoes and sausage pasta. I'm not a fan of those two items, but only because I don't like those meats. I did like the cheese section, the ceasar salad and the white rice was nice and simple. They also had a small desert area, but it contained no cake or pie, just ice cream with the usual toppings and several parfaits, one of which contained a tasty brownie. Came to the game with my wife. We always wondered what this place was like so we decided to try it out. We sat on the porch right as the game started. It was fun to watch the game while we ate. My wife ordered the Chicken Caesar salad. She enjoyed it, but wasn't overly gushing about it. I got the Chefs Table. An all you can eat buffet of good food. They had Turkey, Tri-Tip, all kinds of veggies and salads. They also had an all you can eat ice cream bar. I didn't try that (on account of my diet). Overall it was good food. A bit pricey for the buffet ($35 for food a drink and dessert) but overall it was good. read more

For the best experience get a cheap seat. Bleachers are the best as they are at the lower level outfield and you have a chance to snag a home run ball. Outfielders will sometimes flip you a ball between innings too. After an inning or two head up to ABC. This lets the crowd die down and you can get right in. I've never needed a reservation. You can't go wrong with the buffet. Really high end grub for a ballpark and all you can eat. With the full bar, the view, and all the TVs you get a feel very similar to a private suite which BTW are right next door. I suggest sitting inside by a window, same view as the patio but more comfortable. I understand that $10 for parking, $20-30 per bleacher ticket, and $35 per person for a buffet isn't exactly living on the "cheap" for a lot of people, but I promise it is the best way to experience a ball game on a budget. Skip the buffet and split an appetizer, it's still an experience to remember. read more

First and last time we ever come here. We went into the bar the end of the second inning, other people came in after us and got served first. We wanted to order food, but only got served a beer! We finally talked to a manager mid 7th inning. We finally left in the 8th after a group next to us had finished their meal and three rounds of drinks. We have been making the rounds of restaurants at Chase field and this time we tried the ABC club for dinner. It overlooks right field just above Uptown. You have a choice of the all you can eat buffet for $34.95 each or ordering off of the menu. We ordered off of the menu. I got the seafood salad ($25) and my husband got the burger ($15). If you are leaving to go to your seats elsewhere I recommend ordering off the menu. If you are planning to stay there for the whole game, I suggest doing the all you can eat buffet, That way you can go up and back as much as you want and graze throughout the whole game. (or most of the game- I am not sure when last call is) The food was very good. The service however was not. That's why I gave it only three stars. They must have thought we were staying the whole time because we got there before the game started and it was so slow we were not able to get to our seats until the third inning. I enjoy bringing friends and guests to the Draft Room before a DBacks game (we go to my regular seats for better view during the actual game). It seems to be the best kept secret: hard to find out anything about it on the DBacks website or to find it when you get to the ballpark :). I have been a season ticket holder since 1998 and only discovered it a couple of years ago. The beer list is great and the mainstay comfort foods are delicious. Then after another 10 minutes we finally received our drinks, which was filled only half way. When our food came out my salad looked worse than McDonald's and the rest of my family couldn't even eat their hamburgers it was so bad. Never again unless you want a bar of salt to eat. read more
