From the waglu meatballs downstairs in their beautiful lounge to their charcuterie board on the rooftop..all the food was first class! They have happy hour in the bar downstairs starting at 2pm and happy hour on the rooftop starting at 4pm. Great selection of beer and wine! Both offer a full bar. The next day breakfast was the farmers special with fluffy eggs..rosemary potatoes and crispy bacon plus artisan bread. So good! We sat outside by the pool area which is dog friendly and very relaxing ! This boutique hotel has it all and we loved it! Great birthday! We ordered the avocado toast, chicken sandwich, a beer, and a sweet drink, and the total came to about $72. We shared the Bluelight Special"which is not widely advertised. Todays special was ribs with chicken along with baked beans and potato salad. Also includes a drink. It was so good! The ribs melted in your mouth and the chicken tasted like it just came off the BBQ! Even their beans were very tasty! It was plenty of food to share plus leftovers! You go into the gas station and pay the cashier, then go out to the barbecue and get your chicken from the cook. This is strictly takeout, nowhere that you're going to want to sit and eat. A half chicken was somewhere around six or seven bucks, I'm not sure exactly how much because I got some other stuff. I saw a sign that said a whole chicken was 9.99. The chicken came with a container of salsa and corn tortillas. Again, really, really, good chicken. I will be back.
