How is this place real?! This is some of the best gelato I've ever had, and I can be a snob about my cold sweet treats. They were very patient and let us try all the flavors, and we still decided to get a full flight because there were too many unique ones to only have one. There was plenty of space to post up at a comfy couch to enjoy eating inside. The goat cheese and coconut ones were my favorite, but I don't think you could make a wrong choice here.

    - I HIGHLY recommend this flavor! Apricot Goat Cheese Gelato.

We were really excited to come here and were unfortunately disappointed with our experience. It's not really a secret that Etown has limited options for independently owned food and dessert establishments. We were very hopeful about this place but it was a let down. We came in and were impressed right away with the hip atmosphere and the gelato varieties they had available. Our excitement was immediately squandered when we saw the prices. A teeny tiny cup of gelato (seriously teeny tiny, I think I could fit it in the hole my thumb and index finger make) is nearly $4 before tax and tip. We sighed and we bit the bullet and got two to share for our party of three. We ordered a small cookie butter gelato and a small key lime gelato, which we were really looking forward to. Both of these hardly had any flavor (covid is not a concern for any of the three of us). They tasted weirdly bland and tart. We ultimately left disappointed. I really don't get any pleasure out of writing reviews like this, I'm always happy to support local establishments. In this case I really cannot justify the price tag for the product. On the plus side, last I checked Kroger receipts usually have a coupon for them on the back side--that's how I heard about them. This can help cut down the cost a bit. Also the atmosphere is lovely, cool, and relaxing, that is not to be taken away! Great location by the square, too.

My favorite Gelato place! Always a good atmosphere and kind employees. They have good variety and never lose the great taste amongst all their flavors.

The Dreamery is a perfect name for this spot. The caramel macchiato had the perfect espresso taste with swirls of thick caramel twirled in. I loved every bite. My daughter got cookies & cream, and it was a tasty classic. About $9 for 2 small cups. The girl working was super friendly and helpful. The aesthetics were a nice touch.

Newly opened gelato and ice cream shop and I had to go. The Dreamery is located downtown Elizabethtown around the square. There is parking across the street or in the back by the courthouse. Every cute shop with plenty of sitting and tables. They have laminated menus on a column and a larger menu board over the counter. The staff wore mask and gloves. Everything was clean and neat. I love the open space with the boho chic vibes. I'm a tiramisu fan and they had it available the day I went, so I was immediately sold. I got a small cup to go. They had like square business setup and accept card and cash. Maybe I did ask what is gelato and what is ice cream. I thought I got a tiramisu gelato , it looked creamy and smooth. It wasn't as creamy as I had at other places. The tiramisu wasn't has flavorful, lite espresso notes with more mascarpone and sprinkle of cocoa. It's decent gelato for the elizabethtown. They definitely have more flavors to try and different desserts options. I am excited for this place and can't wait to try more items on the menu and get my gelato fix nearby.

Insanely good Gelato in a relaxing environment! The Dreamery has an incredible selection of flavors. Superb by themselves in a Cone, they also have old school dishes like a banana split or a caramel fudge brioche that elevate soda fountain fare to an art! All of this in a very relaxing indoor (or al fresco) setting, The Dreamery is a wonderful afternoon treat as well as a great ending to a romantic evening.

Best in town! I have been to every ice cream place in etown and this is the best (yes, I know it is technically gelato). The ice cream I've had at the other local places is over churned. The gelato is so creamy and smooth at The Dreamery. They make it fresh everyday. The place is so cute too.

Vegan ice cream cake (strawberry and peppermint chip) - both delicious!

The only thing better than nondairy ice cream (gelato) is great customer service to go with it. We had a miscommunication with a special order, but upon contacting the day of pick up, Lori (Laurie?) was able to remedy the situation with short turnaround to more than exceed expectations. (I believe), they were the first in town with nondairy ice cream options. They also have always been super responsive to contact (Facebook and the like).

As you can tell I come here all the time lol! I would argue that this is the happiest place in Kentucky! The atmosphere is unmatched in the area and the service *chef's kiss* top notch! And the gelato don't even get me started I have literally tried every flavor they have to offer and could never pick a favorite because of how good everything is. If you haven't been to the Dreamery yet you're missing out it's a must!

Brioche panini with amerena cherry chip, strawberry hibiscus, amazing!

I got the coffee gelato and it was delicious. I really wanted pistachio, but they didn't have it, but I wasn't disappointed at all.

We were lucky enough to be invited to the soft open of Spotz Gelato…read more This was not our first time enjoying Spotz. We have been lucky enough to have tried it at the Crave Food Festival and at our city's Summer Concert Series. Super excited seeing the owners opened a physical location. We were thrilled to see their theme from their cute polka dotted ice cream trucks into their new place. Bright pink with polka dots all over the walls. Amazing twine globes used as pendulum lighting. Beth and Phillip have created a fun, bright place in Georgetown. Speaking of... all of their gelato is created at their farm in Scott County! My husband tried their Affogato. He's a coffee fan! It's a scoop of gelato in a cup of coffee. Yes, you may spy a Keriug on the counter. In the spirit of staying green, they grind coffee from Twin Engine Coffee & place it in a reusable k-cup pod. He loved the coffee! I tried the peanut butter. It was rich and creamy just like granny's peanut butter candy at Christmas. In the past, we have always had the Banana pudding gelato. I cannot write about Spotz without mentioning how much we like that flavor! If you love ice cream, please give gelato a try. Creamier, richer, and carries more flavor! (P.S. Phillip was the Crave Festival Angel who rescued me with a drink a few years ago when spicy Indian Food was making my throat close. We have often wondered if we'd ever find that man again!)
