I want to share my experience with Alaska Dermatology Laser & Skin Care Center today…read more Arrived for my 10:00am appointment at 9:55am. No one was at the front desk. Had to say hello a couple times until the receptionist came from in the back area to help me. She said to have a seat and the doctor would see me in just a few minutes. There was no one else in the waiting room so I figured this would be quick. Wrong, at 10:25am I am still sitting there and there had not been another patient so once again I said hello because the receptionist had went back to the back area and I could hear her visiting with another woman. I went around the corner so they could see me and I asked her if the doctor was even here. She said, "Yes he is, he is in his office doing paperwork"! I said well I had a 10am appointment and it was now 10:25am and I needed to get to work by 10:30am. She said, "Well you will never make that. He will be with you in a little bit." I informed her I would be making that because I was leaving. She asked me if I wanted to reschedule and I said NO. She said you know this is your 1 year follow up visit and it is very important. I told her I would take my chances and wouldn't be back. It would have been one thing if he was with another patient but to find out he was in his office doing paperwork and ignoring the fact that my appointment was at 10am was insulting. I will be contacting my insurance to get the name of another preferred provider and going to them for a check up. Worst patient care ever.

I always book an appointment just in case. It's clean, they offer drinks and snacks while you hydrate and that's a plus for me. I love a good snack and a protein one of nuts that they offer, yes please. The nurses are so nice and gentle, never had a bad experience here. The front desk lady always smiles and has all the answers to your questions. All in all get value for your buck to stay hydrated if you were out drinking the night before or just a bariatric patient needed some extra fluids.

I am on their email list, which reminded me of them (and to write a review). But not a single other piece of personal communication beyond that email. Sadly, I felt no noticeable difference after the treatment. Maybe I needed a series of treatments. But that discussion never happened either.
