I was depressed with how I let myself go. At night my heart felt funny and it was hard to get comfortable. I've dont the pills before but I think my mindset was different those times. This time I reached out as a last resort and was ready to take this seriously. I was on the 15 mg for about 2 weeks and the bumped up to the 30mg and stayed constant with keto and excercise. It took me around 5 months to drop 58 pounds. The pills do stop working after awhile so it's up to you. I was nice having a crutch but I knew that I needed to do this on my own eventually. I'm very happy with my results and I will continue to get my B12 shots.

I'm not sure if I just was too far into being sick but their b12 had no impact on me. I didn't feel an increase of energy and I continued to be sick for another week. I'm sure that isn't their fault unless just the quality of the b12 was an issue or maybe not enough? Not sure. So the -2 stars wasn't because of that... it was because I went there for a b12 shot because I was sick and it turned into a weight loss meeting and I felt somewhat body shamed. I was sick. Needed b12 and I could have been spared the whole talk about my weight and what I need to do and what they can do for me for my weight. I probably won't be back because I feel awkward to go back.

Every single member of the team that I have encountered has been compassionate, patient, and willing to take time to educate me and answer any questions I have! I have spent almost 10 years, struggling with hormonal challenges, and weight issues that affected my physical and mental health. Thanks to Anya and her staff at Alpine wellness, I finally feel healthy happy and hopeful! I highly recommend reaching out to Alpine whether you're looking for primary care services, women's health. hormonal help, weight loss or other general healthcare. You will not find another practice that cares for you as a whole human being like this one!

BEWARE: ALPINE WELLNESS…read more We were patients at Alpine Wellness for approximately a year and a half, but their conduct became increasingly concerning and we ultimately terminated our family's membership. What started as a concierge medical practice that promised personalized care, transparency, and direct access to providers increasingly felt like a series of additional fees, memberships, and financial commitments that were not clearly disclosed upfront. For example, patients are told lab work is included with the concierge membership, yet there is a $400 charge for the initial lab panel written into the contract. That charge was never proactively explained to us. We first learned about it when it was time to schedule the labs. Communication was another major issue. I found it nearly impossible to communicate directly with Anya or Trevor when I had questions or concerns. Questions were repeatedly routed through the receptionist, and we often received responses about office policies rather than straightforward answers from the providers themselves. The final straw came after my annual lab review and an appointment discussing a plan to improve my health. We discussed treatment recommendations, medications, the costs of those medications, consent forms, medication delivery, and next steps. What was never discussed during that appointment was that moving forward with those recommendations would require approximately $850 per month in additional memberships and a six-month contractual commitment, on top of the $300-per-month concierge membership we were already paying. This was particularly troubling because the recommended medications were standard oral prescriptions that would have been 100% covered by my health insurance. There was no need for the practice to supply or administer the medications, yet accessing the recommended treatment through Alpine required enrolling in additional monthly membership programs. That information came later. When I questioned why such a significant financial commitment had not been disclosed while the treatment plan was actually being presented, I spent weeks trying to get a straightforward answer. Despite multiple emails that included all parties, I was repeatedly routed back through the receptionist and never received a direct explanation from the provider who made the recommendations. For me, the issue ultimately became much bigger than cost. It became an issue of transparency and trust. Between the additional fees, inability to communicate directly with providers when significant concerns arose, and feeling like nearly every step of our care led to another membership or paid service, we no longer felt comfortable continuing with the practice. It became difficult to know whether recommendations were being made solely because they were medically appropriate or because moving forward required purchasing additional services from the practice. At the level of care being recommended to us, our family's costs would have approached $15,000 per year. If a treatment plan requires hundreds of dollars per month in additional memberships and a long-term contractual commitment, I believe that information should be disclosed during the medical appointment when the treatment is being discussed, not afterward when the patient believes the next step is simply completing consent forms and receiving medication. Healthcare requires trust. Patients should be able to trust that significant costs and contractual obligations will be disclosed when healthcare decisions are being made, that providers will communicate directly when serious concerns are raised, and that medical care will not continually be placed behind another paywall. It is incredibly disappointing because we genuinely wanted Alpine Wellness to succeed and had hoped to remain patients long term. Based on our family's experience, however, I would not recommend this practice.

I would like to thank "Tink" at the Center who administered the lipo red light therapy I opted for as part of the plan. Tink had great tips, as she also did the plan, and she was super encouraging. I came across a device called Omniwave while scouring the internet for solutions and immediately wanted to try it, but there has not been any place in Reno to get it. Oh a whim, I googled Omniwave again not expecting anything, but then this clinic came up. First off, it should be listed as Youth Inc. instead of just Youth, but meh, oh well. I had a long consult where I was not rushed and had the opportunity to ask all my questions before committing. I did not feel pressured into buying anything. After grilling the device tech, I felt confident to buy a package of 6 treatments. The treatment itself was odd because I was expecting there to be pain, or at least something. The only thing I felt was a small tingle, so I presumed that it wasn't really working or going to do anything. That went on for maybe 7 minutes before the treatment was done with. So I got up a little cranky, but then when I bent down to get my hat, I didn't have the same level of pain that gravity exerts on my neck when I do that. So that was the first big notice. The second notice was my range of motion. I could see more when looking over my shoulders. Lastly, I was in process of developing a migraine, which I get frequently due to my neck, but it did not set in during the evening. I was able to function normally. I'm two days out from my treatment and still doing well. Looking forward to my treatment schedule and the results that will come.

I was excited to try this place based on her recommendation and their reviews. I have tried now SIX times to make an appointment and can't get in! I tried three times to use their on-line chat service by filling out a generic form and waited to be contacted as was told by their automatic reply. Nothing!! I tried texting and again no response! I finally just called and after being put on hold for a few minutes, finally spoke to someone. She said I would need labs done first. I told her my labs were just done three weeks ago. She said I could send those along and Caleb would let me know if they were sufficient. The next day, I received an email with the lab paperwork. I immediately replied to the email sending along my blood work then waited. I waited two days and replied to the email again. It has now officially been a week and nothing! No call, no email, no text, NOTHING!! I give up on this place.

Communication with this office is non-existent at best. When I first started with them many years ago they were informative, attentive, and easy to work with. Caleb has been "treating" my thyroid, but after two years since bloodwork I had to call and request they send me for labs...that was two months ago, ZERO follow up. I finally just requested the results thru a new DR. They dont auto update refills and You aren't allowed to call the office to request them. You can only use their online portal to request refills, but good luck finding it on their difficult to navigate website, with the constant chatbot pop-ups. Top this with the fact that you then HAVE to call them to remind them to check for your refill requests. I can go on for days, but these are the most frustrating aspects of this business. My advice, if you have the means, go to a more reputable location. This office is a SOLID example of you get what you pay for. It's amusing that my $50 mothly fee come out like clockwork, it is 100% the ONLY thing this office does consistently.
