I came with my partner after spending the day at the outlets near Palm Springs. We arrived pretty close to closing, and even then, it was such an amazing experience. I finally got the Bass Pro hats I've been dreaming about, and honestly, this is one of the coolest stores I've ever been in. They literally have everything for the outdoors; fishing, camping, road trips, hiking... if you need it, they probably have it. They even sell boats! There was a shooting range, archery equipment, grills, snacks, a restaurant, sweets, and so much more. I could have spent hours exploring. And the prices?! An absolute STEAL!! I was shocked seeing hats for $5.99 and $9.99. How?! We also grabbed their BBQ chips, and they were chef's kiss. The employees were very friendly. The cashier who helped us was incredibly kind. She did spend quite a while helping the customer in front of us, and my partner and I were joking that it looked like love at first sight between them. It made for a funny moment while we waited. One important heads-up: Apple Pay is currently not working. When we visited on July 3, 2026, the cashier told us it might not be fixed for a few months. If you usually rely on Apple Pay, I'd recommend calling ahead or bringing a physical credit or debit card just in case. Overall, I absolutely loved this place and can't wait to come back. Our instructor, Bing (aka Lux) was incredibly welcoming from the moment the class started. He's a fantastic presenter who shared meaningful, practical information in a way that was easy to understand and genuinely engaging. Lux has a fun personality, and his passion for backpacking is absolutely contagious. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and he was clearly born to teach this class. Both stores have great selections, but focusing on this one.. you'll find a wide variety of shoes, solid clothing options in different materials for different professions, and plenty of cool accessories like flashlights, knives, and even t-shirts you can wear outside of work. The shop itself is very clean and well kept. The only downside is the employees can be hit or miss. Sometimes you'll get someone super helpful, and other times you might catch a bit of attitude depending on the day. Overall though, if you're looking for a one-stop shop to grab everything you need for work or if you're just into knives and gear; this is the place to check out.

Got what we needed!…read more I went with my husband and two cousins to grab some ammo for our shooting range day. This was the perfect stop. Both of my cousins have guns registered to them. So, they were able to purchase ammo. I noticed they had some sales and deals on certain items in the store. The ammo be expensive though. That's normal I believe. We spent $300 on ammo for shooting. Seems like a lot, but ammo goes quick when you are shooting. Service was fine. They were friendly and helpful.

If I could give zero stars, I would…read more I purchased a 24 oz insulated Dodgers chrome draft cup from this store on 12/11/25 for $40 as a Christmas gift for my husband. He opened it on 12/25, but we didn't actually use it until mid-January. On his very first use, the coffee spilled all over him because the lid was cracked. I tried to avoid driving an hour back to the store, so I searched everywhere online for a replacement lid but couldn't find anything even remotely close. My last option was to return to the store to see if they would replace the defective lid. Unfortunately, I was told the return/exchange window had passed by just three days (01/15), and the employee refused to help. He even called the manager, who also said there was nothing they could do. When I asked where I could buy a replacement lid, the employee didn't know and mentioned that other customers have had the same issue with this type of lid -- which makes this even more concerning. To make matters worse, the only solution offered was for me to buy another insulated cup. That felt like a slap in the face considering the one I bought was defective. Because this was a Christmas gift, it sat in a gift bag for a while, which caused the defect to be discovered too late. For a store to refuse to help over three days, especially right after Christmas, is unreasonable and poor customer service. I will not be shopping at this location again.
