This place steer clear of if you don't want the owner listening in on your private conversations with your stylist. We come to vent and then being told be careful what you say as the owner listens in to every private conversation. The place is never busy I'm sure it won't stay open for long. Well, I was gonna changed and removed my one star review, and also decided to give the saloon another try. But I did not like the salon recent response. So I will leave it as it is and will never come back. Just to clarify though, nobody gave me a price or any explanation of how much this entire procedure going to cost untill it's time to check out. I was in shocked and did not want to be embarrassed. I was fortunate to have that $ but what if it's another client that do not have that amount readily available? $700+ If they told me the price before I got everything done I would have checked my $$, but again, they never told me that the color and straight and shampoo and so on is that much but I was made to believe that they are all prized together. I called this salon to schedule another appointment with Brandon. I was shocked to find he no longer worked there. I was at a loss for words. The receptionist was not at all sympathetic. She cut me off asking if she could put me on hold and hung up on me. I called back to ask for Randy. She rudely said you want to book a cut with Randy. We don't have a Randy here. I said no Randy is the owner. That's when I learned they were under new ownership. I was more than willing to give them a try. read more

The Salon was very clean and inviting and the stylists and receptionist were super nice. I had a color & balayage plus Olaplex done ($280) and unfortunately the color that was chosen was a super brassy and orange color for my hair. After my appointment I called back and explained what happened and they invited me back in within the next few days to try and fix it. The stylist that tried to fix it did her best and took a decent amount of orange out, but it was still too brassy for my liking. I waited a few days hoping that a few washes would get the color out, but it didn't. So I had to go somewhere else and pay another salon to fix it. I appreciated them trying to fix it, but the inital color chosen just didn't agree with my hair. :( The first two attached pictures were what I showed the stylist what my goal was. The third picture was my hair before. The fourth picture was directly after the 1st session. The fifth picture was the day after the second session where they tried to lighten the darkness and get rid of the orange tint. The Manager of the salon has emailed me that the Salon would no be reimbursing me for either my initial visit ($280+), or the additional costs ($135) I had to pay to have it fixed elsewhere. I was really trying to be positive about everything, but I just can't help but feel so bummed about the work that was done during my very first cut from this salon on Thursday. Shelby did a wonderful job with coloring my hair, but the cut was not good at all. There are completely random and uneven layers on both sides of my face, that I had to come back and have a different stylist (Taress) fix the mess. She did a wonderful job with what was there, but in the end she was sad to say it's all a "waiting game" from here due to how much hair was cut off from the right side of my face (which I did not even notice until I came in for a second opinion). Nonetheless the service was great, however I'm not sure if I'll ever come back because of what happened. read more

My husband treated me. I had no idea what I was walking into lol. He and the owner,Kimberly, conspired to get me all set up. The salon was beautiful, clean and all of the employees were very friendly-but not the fake over the top friendly. Mr. Kim did my hair and he was gentle and did an amazing job. I had an emergency arise and called the day before my appointment to cancel. It was the afternoon. I was chastised about not calling sooner and how I left a stylist in a bind. They stated that they should hold me responsible for 50% of the rate because I didn't call 24 hours prior to my appointment ( it was 20 hours). She said that was their policy. They did not tell me this when I made the appointment and can't find it on the website. However, they only had my first name so not sure how they were going to hold me responsible. I respect the profession and rarely cancel an appointment, but this couldn't be helped. I first made a consultation before my initial service. Marissa was the stylist I worked with. I told her what I was looking for and she helped me decide on coloring and what would best fit my hair color. During my actual service she explained everything along the way. I had a full highlight with 3 different colors and a cut. The blending of the 3 colors came out so beautiful and my cut length and style is perfect. I went in wanting a color melt with whit as the base color and lavender roots. Debbie immediately said she doesn't work with that color and i asked why and she said it was a personal choice. So i said well I guess I'm going to leave then and went to get up. But then she said she'd talk to an associate and see if they could mix it for her and she could apply it. I bring this up because despite the rest of the visit I got along better with her I still felt judged for wanting my hair lavender. :( Debbie did an excellent high lift weave but it was a little yellowed than I wanted. She never did anything to fix that, didn't offer to tone it but instead just wanted to wash the lavender through the ends the last couple minutes. Well the lavender didn't even show up because it was so light and of course my ends didn't take it either. I made an appt to get if fixed by someone else the next evening but had a family emergency and couldn't keep that appt. in fairness they did give me the Olaplex for free and were willing to correct it for free but I left the next day after the family emergency back to Colorado so they never got the opportunity. I think they are a good salon but I wouldn't say they are a five star salon. The gentlemen at the front was very professional and kind which also helps. Incidently, I tried to do it myself and failed miserably. Lol. But now at least I have lavender hair instead of yellowish white hair and I like it that better. :) I only knocked off a star because the foil work was so excellent and at least my hair is a nice even color whereas before i came in it was a little blue, a little green and a little yellow...not a lot but enough to bug me and not look great. read more

Called on a Monday to make an appointment for Friday and was all set to go then got a notification that my appointment had been rescheduled to Saturday (less than 3 hours before my appointment). Amazing service, prompt scheduling, friendliest staff and clean salon! I saw Andrea, and got my super short (think typical men's cut length hair) styled with a fade and added texture at the top. She was so friendly the whole time, and the appointment was quick, without feeling rushed. She did a great job working around my mask too, and I was able to keep it on the entire time. Occasionally she'd have me hold the mask's ear loops while she buzzed the hair around my ears, but it was still covering my face. I can't wait to return! read more

I have mixed feelings about this salon. I read all the wonderful reviews and decided to take my daughter here to get her hair done for homecoming. When I called a girl answered the phone and quoted me $40-$80. The higher end being a full "up do." The salon is nice and the guy working the front desk is very pleasant. The stylist that did my daughter's hair was just okay. She did my daughter's hair like the picture she was shown, curls and a side braid. In the end I was charged $80. In my opinion this did not constitute a full "up do" especially when the curls started to loose their look by the end of the night. This was more like a $50 service which is why I may or may not try this salon again. I watched some of the other stylist working when I was there and the gentleman at the front desk are the only reasons I might return. read more

I came today to get a balayage color, cut, and style. I picked this salon because it's near my house and was highly rated on Yelp...super glad I did! Mary worked with me today and we had a brief consultation on what I was wanting to do (complete w pics) and her feedback on whether it was possible. We agreed on what to do next and set out to make my hair beautiful again (it was much needed, I hadn't had a color in 3 months and my greys were really popping!) The salon was steadily busy while I was there (for about 3.5 hours or so) with about 6-8 stylists working. It's a trendier salon right next to Barnes and Noble in SanTan Shopping Center...they use the Seven and Oribe products and had several on display and for sale. When my hair was done, I was so happy because it was exactly what I was hoping for!! It looks great (if I do say so myself) and was about what I would expect to pay for those services ($245 before tip) I will definitely be back to see Mary (every 6 weeks or so) and highly recommend the salon to people looking for trendy color and styles read more

But after speaking with the owner, she got me back in ASAP free of charge to correct the color so that I was happy with it.
