I came in here in a whim not realizing I needed to make an appointment. Betsy was able to give me a little time. She tried on a couple hair toppers for me. I then made an appointment to spend more time. When I can for the appointment, she was on time and very helpful. She took a lot of time explaining how the topper should be centered with your nose, and gently clipped on, as to not pull out hair unnecessarily. She was gentle and knows her products and inventory. She made suggestions on making the topper more personalized for my face. The only complaint is that they don't have samples in the colors offered. I take that back, they do from the manufacturer that are very difficult to get an idea of what it looks like in the actual hair piece/wig. I will follow up this review once I make a final selection and have it styled. I recommend this place to anyone interested in wigs, toppers, extensions, clip ons, etc. They are very friendly and efficient here. Doesn't want to give you the time to pick out what may set you back a couple of thousands $$$ 45 min consult doesn't cut it for me. Did have some good advice, but having the time to go through several expensive toppers, does bother me, most reds are too much in the pink side. I won't spend money if I feel I haven't gotten the time deserved. I called stating I was running a few minutes late (5-10 min) who ever answered the phone, said that would cut into the 45 min. of time she had schedule. I won't be rushed. This is a lot of money to spend and I'll view my options first with other wig out let's as well if this is all the time she'll offer up. My time and travel is valuable as well. Dear Owner you should read my full review, your right I didn't show up as either you or your help said let me phrase it again, you only had 45 min of time to give me. This would be the second time I've tried to make arrangements with you. First time shame on me, second time shame on you! Besides that I doubt you carry European toppers any ways. I'm not coloring my hair to match a topper. So like giving your client time to pick a topper, you should give the time to read the full review. I doubt you really have anyone working for you. I went into Paris Wigs in Chandler, AZ today. I bought my second wig from them today. I'm so sorry I can't remember the young ladies name that helped me , but she was blonde. She was so helpful, we tried on numerous wigs until we found the perfect one. We actually laughed at some of them we tried on me as they weren't my style. It was a fun experience for the second time. This place is amazing! I had a terrible haircut that made me cry but had thought about wigs anyway. I cam here because there were already so many positive reviews and I'm glad I did. I've looked at tons of wigs online, but getting to try them on in person is sooo useful! I found the perfect one and she even helped me style it and cut the lace for me! My hair is thinning and not because of my thyroid ( had it checked) I think it's thinning because of age or stress who knows. So I went here to see about a "topper". They have so many different types and style and colors there is no way I could of gotten what I needed without their help. Unfortunate that I don't remember her name but she looked at me and said " I have the prefect topper for you". I have had fusion keratin extensions for the past 2 years and it had left my hair thin and damaged and wanted to seek another alternative. I walked in and Haley had me sit down tried different colors/styles on me and showed me the Halo extensions! If you have never heard of these I would highly suggest checking them out. I am very disappointed in the service I received, or should I say lack of service, from Paris Wigs. Back in early November, I stopped in the store to get a topper which I was told was on backorder til Dec 10th. I understood and waited. I then called on Dec 11th and was told not in, I'll call my vendor & call you back...no call. I then called again the next week & was told the same thing...again no call back. Called a third time, told the same thing, and guess what!?! Surprise, no call back. They really make me feel like they don't want my business. How have I not reviewed this place?? 3 years ago they took my dream catchers out for me and talked me off a ledge after having them in for 8 years. They sold me a halo couture hair extension which I, though am NOT gifted with hair, was able to put in and out. I went a year with out my extensions until I put the halo in for a concert and never took it out again! Well, the color of my hair had changed slightly so I ended up at another salon and got talked into buying a layered one for daily wear. Well they never told me anything about how to care for it. It went completely afropoof on me in a couple short months. So back to Paris I went! To see if they could salvage. After being frustrated with my thin, limp hair and embarrassing cowlick I just woke up one morning and walked in to the shop. I'm totally new to hair pieces and wigs. Heather was so warm and welcoming even though I didn't have an appointment. She was generous with her time. She immediately found a few toppers that she thought would look good on me and she was right. She listened to my concerns and was patient as I rattled on and on about my hair frustrations. After I selected which one I liked she cut the topper so that it blended in with my real hair and then showed me how to put it on and maintain it. Heather was kind, professional, very knowledgeable, down to earth and made the whole process very smooth. I had done a little research online before hand so I wasn't shocked at the prices. Expect to pay a few hundred dollars for a quality synthetic topper. If this is something you are going to wear everyday, it's worth the money. Also, I will save a lot of time and money from getting my hair styled and colored at a salon and wrangling with it every day. I can just wash, dry and throw on this topper and I'm ready to roll. Are you wondering if it's time for a wig because you don't' have much hair left, my suggestion is try this place. I had been weary to even consider my need for a wig, but after reading the reviews for Paris Wigs and months of research, I finally got the courage to schedule an appointment. With knots in my stomach when I first walked in from not knowing what to expect, Kim guided me through the process and eased my concerns right away. While she was looking for a piece that might work, I looked around the shop and saw so many wigs but none in my color or style. I was feeling a little down, but Kim walked out with several pieces that matched my hair color. Then even more amazing they had a piece that matched my hair length and style also! My grandma was recently diagnosed with breast cancer so he wanted to go and buy her a wig. Paris was recommended to us by a neighbor and we wanted to go check it out , a wig experience should be kind of fun to do with your daughter and granddaughter. The sales staff at Paris was very friendly and welcoming but it did take about 30 minutes for somebody to help us try on wigs. But once we did have a sales associate help. she was very kind and knowledgeable about the sparser selection that they did have. You can tell she had been working there for a while and she was also very kind and compassionate while. While in the hospital my grandma did pick up a wig magazine and we had wanted to look at some Raquel Welsh wigs when we went to the store , so I had kind of done my research before going into look. To get idea Of the price point to see what we should be looking at. I did feel that the wigs were quite overpriced, And they didn't have a large selection and they didn't have multiple colors in each wig that they did have, they were pushing more to have it ordered through online. One of the wigs we wanted to try that we saw online was a Raquel Welsh called "upstage" Paris wanted $410 for it and we found it on thewigsoutlet.com for only $202. So if you want the experience all the staff was definitely friendly but for the price it was definitely more than necessary. We ended up Buying three wigs online all Raquel Welsh for $680. So just do your research before buying to make sure you're getting a fair price. Also found it strange that all Accessories in the shop Didn't have price tags on it.
