This speakeasy is a cool chill place that makes good cocktails. You can find it by walking past the outside seating to Tagliatas and it's on the left hand side. As a true speak east, there is no sign or marking, so you just have to try and hope your in the right place! The cocktails are a standard $18 or $20, but they are craft cocktails so that price point is not surprising to me. We were able to walk right in and get a seat at the bar where we were greeted by Mark who was pretty awesome. They put us by the cold door and forgot about us for awhile.) Once our server remembered us, we ordered from their extensive menu. We were able to go to the Italian disco place door and have a drink while waiting, and because they are the same ownership as soon as our table is ready we were able to walk over with drink in hand and take our new seats. Small flowery "creative" cocktails provided in a shot like glass that were less than $10. What was disheartening for me was my Old Fashion. It was rather watery and not worth the price. Went to this place because my friend has never been able to get in. Was able to sit at the bar which was nice. The band at the time was very loud but didn't mind it at first even though as a speak easy it usually to be considered a quiet place. After ordering we were pretty confused as the bartender walked away for 5mins then returned trying to gather his thoughts. After sitting for 10 mins more and contemplating leaving he served my friends drink to another patron and as the lady was about to drink it he took it back and then tasted it and then served it to her. And as we sat there in shock, the bartenders proceeded to act as nothing was wrong. We then had customers shouting over top of us and then a person that was ready to be cut off that was standing at the end of the bar next to us that was either part of the band or just a rando. But after sitting there finishing our drinks which were good (even though my friends should've been re-made for this caliber of bar) I had asked if this was normal for the bar, the one bartender replied no. But I will say I will not be back and will not recommend to anyone else which is a shame because I feel like it has potential and think that management should do better at controlling the floor and that bartenders should be better trained and not seem as they just started the day before. read more

My date arrived and we were seated right away, tucked in the corner table. The bar was beautifully crafted with tons of spirits and an interesting animal head. Even though the space is rather tiny, I wasn't able to hear our neighbors conversation. Unfortunately, there weren't many vegetarian options and my date was famished! We ordered the mac n cheese and truffle fries. The mac n cheese definitely needed a little bit of spice, ie hot sauce or red pepper flakes. The truffle fries were great, especially with the aioli sauce. The kind chief gave us one batch of free truffle fries because the vegetarian menu was limited. I ordered the Fire Flower and my date ordered the Our Princess is in Another Castle. He admired my drink more than his. He ordered a second drink while I finished my first.
