Came here in severe pain and they were amazing!!! Took extremely good care of me! The front receptionist was extremely understanding! They took me back immediately and got me hooked to an IV and gave me pain medication!! They gave me blankets and pillows to make sure I was comfortable even while in horrible pain! My fiancé and I had not been feeling well got a couple of days and are also new to La Vernia. We decided it was date night to the clinic. We arrived around 7:48 pm with no one else in the waiting room. We were called back before we could finish our paperwork. We got tested for flu, strep, and covid. Michelle was very knowledgeable and a soft hand after giving us a steroid shot. Dr G was thorough and great! We will gladly go again in the future. read more

Went to the LV Emergency Clinic due to a serious fall onto concrete. I was seen by Dr. Domuczicz who completely disregarded my pain and told me to take Tylenol and Ibuprofen. He also said if the swelling/pain gets worse to come back the next day. So the next day I returned, waited forever with zero people in the waiting room. When they called me back Dr. Bhogte stopped me in the hallway and said he won't be doing an assessment or giving pain meds. All he will do is another X-ray and that I can leave if I want. I was so embarrassed that he had the nerve to say this in front of a the staff and other patients. I was treated like some drug addict or as if I was making up the pain. Not one person asked me what my pain scale was. Im a nurse myself and I've never seen a doctor treat someone as bad as they treated me. I left crying and depressed. I tried calling the care coordinator/patient advocate but they never called me back. Not the mention the hundreds of dollars wasted on this place. read more

Brought our daughter in 4 separate times for the same injury. Required to fill out the exact same lengthy paperwork 4 separate times. The 4th visit was a follow up because they couldn't remove 1 out of 3 sutures and I spent more time filling out the same paperwork than they did removing the last suture. Also, the front desk clerk claimed we weren't in the system which added to the unnecessary stress. We rearranged our lives to see a specific doctor per their request. The doctors traded schedules so we didn't even see the same one. (Facepalm) I'd give 1 star but the nurse that actually removed the suture and pretty much everyone besides the front desk clerk/paperwork fiasco were fantastic. read more

While waiting in the very cold room, Bill gave us a warm blanket and our Nurse, Theresa is sweet and professional. They even gave me a fantastic price that was cheaper than my insurance would have been if I used it. Don't bother with packed ER's, when you can come here! read more

Be very careful and watch how they Bill you especially at the time of service. For instance they charged us a co-pay and coinsurance charge and our insurance policy only has co-pays, no coinsurance charges. Possibly with so many insurances they may get confused so this is something you definitely have to watch. Now I have to go back and hopefully get a refund to our FSA account. Well I'm not an emergency so the chick on the phone said they couldn't help me... cool so if I am contagious, you would rather me go infected a bigger population at a doctors office or better yet a cvs/Walgreens just because I am not an emergency. read more

Daughter seen for an abdominal injury and was diagnosed promptly and plans for discharge/transfer were made in a timely way. The care of the nurses was kind but the doc seemed a bit dismissive of the symptoms and our concerns until getting the CT results back. I felt like I had to talk him into performing the CT.... glad I did. Can't say enough about the nurse and CT tech though, definitely top rate. read more

Just recently moved here and experienced an awful allergic reaction across my face and down my throat. After a few days of it getting worse I decided to go into urgent care instead of a hospital or other clinic thinking it would be more cost effective for my emergency. I got there, filled my paperwork and waited almost two hours. The rash spread down my neck and chest, my throat became super scratchy as well. Unfortunately they were unable to contact my insurance provider for coverage so they charged me $200 down payment just to be seen. I did it because I had no other options and my condition was getting worse. They assured me they would try and contact my insurance within 5 business days about the bill and get back to me about a refund (if applicable). Long story short I was seen after two hours and given two pills to take with benedryl, a prescription and sent home. The doctor took maybe 15-20 minutes all together. He gave me a double dose of the medication since I had gotten worse while I waited. (2 hours). Fast forward I had not received a call yet about my insurance coverage, $200 seems like an big amount for what they did. I didn't even get benedryl or cortisone cream from them I had to get that myself from the store at like 11pm. After calling the clinic again and again they were finally able to tell me that my insurance was no good and they would keep the $200 even though my bill is more than that. Sounds like a rip. She couldn't even tell me what I was being billed for just the collective visit itself. Can't believe I paid $200 because they don't accept Medicare or Medicaid blue sheild blue cross. Most expensive 20 minutes of my life I would recommend somewhere else for emergencies since I sat there for two hours getting worse and worse and sent home with little for relief. Not sure why this place is 4 stars. The people are nice, people who take your money often are but be weary that if you have an emergency like I did and can't find an "in network" clinic for your insurance know that they will definitely price gouge you in your time of pain and need. read more

So glad I found this place! I was going to go all the way to florevilles hospital. Since I'm new in town and I'm glad I found this urgent care. I've been working in an emergency room for 8 years now And my experience there was excellent. I came in having sob, wheezing, and flu like symptoms. While I was there, I recieved duo nebs, steroid shots and antibotics. Talk about service! I went in feeling miserable and I felt so much better going home. I was in and out within an hour and got my medication ready for pick up at my pharmacy. Excellent care read more

Always a fantastic experience here. The longest I have ever waited was 15 minutes; exceptionally clean, staff from front to nurses to doctors are friendly, clear communication, and very thorough. I don't know if I will ever drive to SA to go to a doctor again, even for my kiddos pediatrician- they are just that great! read more

Needed for my son to be seen for an infected white throat. fever and body aches. The receptionist said our visit was 199.00. Being that it was urgent I was willing to pay that. After going to the back they did a rapid strep test came back negative. Wanted to come back to do a throat culture and I refused that part, seeing as how it was already negative. long story short all they did was look in his throat and sent us home with no meds or any kind of relief. time to pay:: Some red headed lady said that will be 500.00.. are you kidding me?? for what??? I asked to see an itemized bill to see exactly where they were ripping me off. She stated they don't give those out.. wow!!! Don't know what we paid for but it certainly wasn't worth it nor couldn't leave until we did so. This place was a total rip off in saying so she stated."
