Very in and out but very friendly. My nurse who checked me in and took blood pressure, heart rate etc was such a friendly and communicative guy! He made sure that I knew that he was taking in account everything and every concern I had responding with "Heard!" PA came in and supportively and enthusiastically shook my hand immediately. Dec 22 I had an appointment at Next care in Cibolo.  My condition was green phlegm, heavy cough. After a quick exam was told it just had to follow it's course gave me a script for an antibiotic. Continued to get worse and the following Tuesday I was running a temp between 100 and 104.  Made another appt on that Friday and explained symptoms were getting worse another BRIEF exam I was told take OTC. No additional script. It would work it's self out.  Sunday symptoms were not improving so I called to and the PA for meds.   I was told she would call back.  I called a second time and was told she would call but probably not till tomorrow. Never received a call At 8:30 I went to another urgent care. They did a thorough exam inc X-rays and determined I had early Pneumonia.  Obviously I won't be back.  I was charged 2 deductible's.  Wouldn't be a big deal except I had no relief from their exams. read more

My visit this time with Carolyn, Victoria & Gilbert was decent. They were kind & helpful. The problem I have is the last two times I went in to be serviced I was only charged $35 (each visit). When I walked in today, I was told I had been undercharged the last two times and the actual charge was $215!! I was frustrated the last two times I left there because I was tested & then told, "You don't have flu or covid, i don't know what you have but it's one of the other 113 viruses. Go home, drink fluids and rest." I left there frustrated and felt like I had wasted $70 ($35 @ 2 visits). So I was avoiding going back today but I was sick and my regular doctor was closed the next day because it was a holiday! So then I also find out that I had two separate balances because I was charged incorrectly the last two times I visited!!  Also, if your company is  going to charge upwards of $215 per visit, don't be cheap!! At least have the decency to have the good tissue, not the cheapest brand that feels like cardboard!  People you service are sick and they may need to use a tissue! You are supposed to be providing a service, helping people feel better, not worse!!! Start with good tissue!! This will be THE LAST TIME I EVER GO TO A NEXT CARE CLINIC! read more

I had the same experience as others did. Failure to provide good care charged over $200 for their failure to bill correctly and threatened they would not care for my son until we paid it. We requested an itemized receipt and the front desk lady stated she could not provide it. Therefore she gave us the wrong number for billing. We found the correct billing number and contacted them and the billing department said they did not put in the insurance information so they did not charge anyone but us. The staff was dismissive and was caught making fun of my wife behind her back. Completely unprofessional. I called to speak with the office manager to launch a complaint and have yet to receive a callback weeks later. I will never entrust this urgent care facility with my family again. Fraudulent billing practices and threatening your child will not be seen over their billing error need to be reported. Also, the doctor failed to diagnose appropriately and gave my son awful advice that went against every other doctor that we saw after. I would not trust this practice. read more

Absolutely terrible. It was dirty, staff was rude. They did not do the strep test properly resulting in a neg result and not getting the right medication I have had strep multiple times, that test is not fun. She barley swabbed the back side of my throat. I was super sick, could not swallow and they sent me out with lidacne. I had to follow up with a different clinic to get antibiotics that actually helped. read more

Don't do it! Take your business elsewhere. The front desk person, Blanca is an aggressive person and threatened me. She needs a class in customer service and/or really does not need to work with people. Supervisor or whoever she was texting when I was talking to another staff member, didn't bother to contact me to see what was going on. Absolutely awful customer service. read more

Posted previously how my Wife and I went in for an x-ray and they couldn't even see use listed below. Even worse, they now bill my insurance for services they did not render. How sad and unprofessional to bill for services not provided. Made an appointment at 9 am for 7 pm today and listed I needed x-rays. Went in for my appointment and they did not know why I was there and told me after waiting 30 minutes to see a provider they could not do anything for me as the x-ray tech went home for the day already. Horrible customer service, no professionalism, and it is a shame the previous urgent care facility is not still there. This place is horrible. They book appointments and cannot see you for what you made an appointment for. They could not even be bothered to tell me at check-in, made me wait to see the provider and he was very dismissive and rude. Like it was my fault no x-ray tech was working. read more

3 hours ago NEW I am a teacher who is not feeling well, so I went to the closest NextCare Urgent Care during my conference period today. After sitting there for 15 minutes, the front desk person asked me to come up. She told me that I had not met my deductible. I tried to explain to her that I do NOT have a deductible. I know that is a hard thing to believe, but it is true, we do not have a deductible. I can assure you that I am very well-versed in my own insurance coverage. I let her know that my copay was $15. I also told her that the last time I was there, 5 months ago in May, I paid the $15 copay without any issues. She said that my copay was $145 today. I told her that I would NOT be paying that because my copay is $15. She told me that if I did not pay the $145 ($130 MORE than my copay) I would not be able to be seen, so instead of continuing to stand there and argue, I left. I had to get back to school by a certain time and I certainly did not have the time or the energy to stand there and continue to argue with someone who wouldn't even pick up the phone and call my insurance. All it would have taken was one phone call by her and my insurance would have confirmed what I was saying, but no. So now I am back at school, still feeling bad. I will be going somewhere else after school today and I will NOT ever be going back to NextCare. Perhaps in the future, front desk personnel should be better trained in customer service and confirming insurance coverage. read more

Christmas Eve...have a medical issue...what now?! Well, Fast-Tex was open and I didn't need an appointment. They got me in right away to see one of their PA's. I will NEVER come here again. Worse customer service from Blanca the receptionist. I came in as a sick patient and she rolled her eyes when I said I didn't have my insurance card for a better quality. She continued to be rude when talking to me about my visit. I told her that I was sick and I find it disrespectful to treat a sick patient like that. Unfortunately, I had to walk out and didn't feel comfortable being seen at a office where they lacked customer service and empathy. I will go back to being seen at medpost from now on. read more

A great clinic with a very professional staff. Their appt process, check in, and fast care are except. I would highly recommend this clinic.

They always seem to rush through everything. Took my son in on Saturday with a fever, fatigue and belly pain. The did not do a flu swab or a simple belly exam(press on the belly). They prescribed him Bromfed which I later found out treats coughs and other head cold type symptoms that he didn't even have By Monday the coloring in his skin turned yellow, he was vomiting and had severe belly pain. I decided to take him to the Baptist ER in Schertz. They immediately did a CT scan and found appendicitis. We were put in an ambulance, transferred to north central baptist and he had to have surgery. I will definitely think twice before picking our next urgent care. UPDATE: Fast Tex reached out to me and I greatly appreciate that. I still have some reservations as far as trust goes because apparently there was nothing notated on my son's charts about his belly pain. I absolutely expressed concern about it during our appointment and understand people make mistakes. I'd be willing to give them another shot for a minor injury or illness. read more

We were seen very quickly and Dr. Scott was thorough in his assessment of my son's chest pain. They did an EKG and a chest xray to rule out various causes. When I had a concern about something, I received a personal email from Dr. Scott explaining everything. I was impressed that he took the time to contact me. My insurance (Tricare) covered everything. I love that Fast-Tex Urgent Care supports the military by accepting our insurance, as it can be very difficult to get an urgent appointment on base. It's so convenient having this urgent care right here in Cibolo! read more

I received a door hanger from this office. So my son was not feeling well so I called them and ask if they take out particular insurance. With a green light I drove down the street and filled out the simple paper work and we were in with the PA within a few minutes. Staff is very friendly and took care of my son. They sent over our RX straight across the street with in 15 min. I would come here again for urgent care needs. 1 star for facilities 1 star for staff 1 star for location 1 star for over all experience. - star bathrooms didn't visit. read more

I definitely would not recommend this place. By far the rudest Dr I've ever encountered. As soon as he came into the room he announced that the whole entire family WILL have the same sickness our child has, thanks! He laughed at me and talked over me when I told him we had Corona. He said "Carona! Why do you call it Carona!?!? People call it COVID!" Is that important when I'm trying to give you my sick child's history lately? He told me that my child can die. "This virus (RSV or another random virus going around) is very serious, someone died in San Antonio already." Right in front of my sick kid. Thanks! That's what they need to hear. He asked if we got the flue shot. I told him no, he laughed and said he doesn't want to talk about it with me and then pretty much dismissed us completely. Was quoted one price for service and received a bill that was well over $100 more than quoted for a simple strep & flu test visit. I was also assured the prescriptions would be sent to the pharmacy immediately, was told multiple times by the provider and staff that they were "already sent electronically" to the pharmacy. This was a concern as my visit was at 7:15pm, their office closed at 8pm, pharmacy closed at 9pm and I wanted to ensure my child was able to start antibiotic treatment immediately. The pharmacy never recommended a prescription from the urgent care. I tried calling the number provided on my discharge instructions (called at 7:45pm) I was on hold for over 20 minutes when my call was finally answered. The call center staff was rude and unapologetic stating there is nothing they can do and I'd have to check back when the office reopens in the morning! Now almost a full day later and the pharmacy has STILL never received the antibiotic prescription and I had to go elsewhere (after already paying for this horrible experience) in order to get my son treated for his strep infection! I am livid with the disgrace of service this facility provided and will never go back! Also, I have yet to hear back from their patient care manager to follow up on my concern regarding the unsent prescription. read more

I couldn't be anymore pleased. The PA listened to me. He genuinely was there to help ME and not treat me as if I was just another number! I wish I could have him as my family practitioner, to be totally honest. I'm just glad I found a new place to go to for non life threatening injuries/illnesses. I will be back - hopefully not anytime soon. It surely beats driving out to SAMMC. I was also in and out within an hour - even with a bolus of saline. OH! They're tricare approved!! Got my rapid result covid test done, and rapid is apt for this place. And Fast-Tex is a good name for them. I have to do a test every two weeks in order to visit our friend in a nursing facility, so I have done this a bunch of times. Fast is what they mean! Came in for an allergic reaction. Was in and out in 30-40 minutes and really appreciated the shots that had me feeling much better than when I arrived. Sent me home with some helpful meds too. They treat you extremely well and you will be better when you leave. read more

Great urgent care clinic! My son had been sick with a sinus infection for three weeks. We had visited our primary care physician but at the onset of the infection, but the meds that he was given did not clear up the infection. We tried to set up another appointment but nothing was available, so we went the the Fast Tex Urgent care in Cibolo. The wait time was minimal, the attending PA did a fabulous job. He listened to my son and set him up with a different medication. My son was feeling better within one day of the visit. Thank You!! We will be going there more often. read more

My son has now been here twice. First time was for severe dehydration due to a really bad intestinal infection back in April. The most recent episode was for strep throat. Both times he was seen quickly, treated in a very courteous and professional manner. The overall experiences have been fantastic. This is now our new urgent care. read more
