I would recommend this as a good place to chat with a friend over a space for studying or working. Especially because I found the staff lovely and conversational. Their prices are far more reasonable than many other local coffee shops nearby which was definitely a major plus. I enjoyed the lavender latte, but would probably only get it hot in the future, and would try a different iced latte flavor. The spicy chicken empanada was delicious and I would definitely get it again. It had a nice curry sauce inside (though it wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be). The ham and cheese sandwich was also surprisingly good. Though simple, they tasted like quality ingredients.

The Wild Mug Coffee Bar…read more It was a pleasant surprise and my fiancee and I really enjoyed the time we spent at this cafe. Today, we ordered the Iced Caramel Macchiato, Iced Cinnamon Roll Latte, Spicy Beef Empanada, and their Key lime Pie. The coffees were good, but in my opinion, their pastries and snacks tasted better and left a bigger impression on me. The coffee flavors, I felt like I can find them elsewhere but the key lime pie was nice- just sweet enough and right level of tartness. The spicy beef empanada was nice too or maybe I was just hungry. You make sure to try it and let me know if it was really good or no. They offer indoor and outdoor seating but are both limited so get there at the right time or be ready for Togo. The interior is cleanly decorated and they seem to have put in a lot of time hand writing out the special menu and seasonal items. Yes I would recommend this place to others. Yes I would definitely visit the Wild Mug Coffee Bar again.

She politely approached the truck and was told that they do not provide cups of water and that bottled water was available for purchase. When she explained she only wanted a little water to finish her drink, she was again told no and encouraged to buy a bottle instead. She politely declined and returned to her table where my kids were. As she was explaining the interaction to me and my son, an employee who had been cleaning a nearby table abruptly interrupted the conversation and said, "If you want free water, go to Starbucks." My wife was understandably surprised and said, "Excuse me?" The woman then made it very clear that she was the owner and proceeded to say things such as: "What coffee shop gives free water?" "Why do people always want everything for free?" "If you don't like our ways, you can leave and go to Starbucks." My wife calmly explained that she had not come there to argue, especially over a cup of water that had already been denied and was no longer a big deal. She also reminded the owner that we were paying customers and had not asked for anything for free. In fact, my wife had generously tipped before being treated this way. I told my wife to keep me on the phone and I seen the owner continuing to pace around my wife ranting about people wanting things for free. Another employee, who appeared to be her daughter, was heard telling her in Spanish, "Ma, ya, basta" ("Mom, enough"), but the owner continued. She then sarcastically offered my wife sink water now and remarked, "You can drink it at your own risk," but while continuing to tell her to leave and go somewhere else for free water. The entire interaction was bizarre, awkward, and honestly shocking. My wife and kids sat there completely puzzled and offended. I told my wife to leave and she did but not before telling the owner that they would gladly leave but that, as a business owner herself, she should work on her customer service before running her business into the ground over her mouth. What was most surprising was that other customers witnessed the exchange too. I heard over the phone while my wife was walking out a customer say "that's not right". My wife said the couple also got up and left too. Overall, between the overpriced coffee, lack of Wi-Fi that my wife said they told her they don't share with customers and most importantly the incredibly rude and unprofessional treatment by the owner herself, this is not a place we will be ever visiting again or recommending as locals. All that unprofessional treatment over my wife asking for a cup of water to dilute their overly sweet and overpriced drinks, what a joke.

I didn't realize how close this place was to me so I will definitely be visiting more frequently. Their set up is nice. There is a shared area where you can sit under the shade and there is a turf area where it looks like they have some things to keep children entertained for a bit so this place is also family friendly. The space is shared with another truck but I think they serve food. At Whole Latte Monkeys I was sad to see that the truck was not open on the inside, but from what I could see, the set up and decor inside the truck was very cute. I placed my order at the window, and got a Lavender iced Matcha latte with oat milk, a vanilla latte with oat milk and a Papito Chulo with oat milk. As I was ordering, I realized some of the names of the drinks are named after some of the monkeys they have shown on display in the truck which was a very cute touch. I wasn't able to read the stories of the monkeys, but I will certainly ask next time. The cashier/barista was very kind and patient while I decided what to order. I wasn't too crazy about the matcha, because I love a stronger, more astringent matcha, but the Papito Chulo was a hit and I would come back for that drink. Overall such a cute spot, great coffee and a hidden gem in this area. I'd definitely come back with friends and family to grab a drink, walk around the garden and relax.

HIDDEN COFFEE SHOP…read more.. I heard about this urban legend for years but this morning I had to get to the bottom of it and hunted for it by gps, and guess what? IT REALLY EXISTS.... Located deep in NE Weston, tucked behind a Shell gas station cushioned against W StRd 84, is this coffee shop called Watts & Coffee. This cafe began inside of Alex's Bicycle Pro Shop years ago with a simple coffee machine to support the local bicycle clubs. A few months ago, the bicycle shop was purchased by new owners who placed a semi-secure (EDITED...it is on wheels and seldomly moves except for special events and catering) coffee truck in the front parking lot of the business, which is currently closed and opens at 10am. Of course I took pics, but its so odd that you must see it for yourself to understand. As I drive into the secluded (not scary though) parking lot, I observe bicycles stationary at a bike rack in front of a large food truck with the name Watts & Coffee displayed on the face of the truck and a wide open window with a guy inside. A small wooden table sporting an umbrella for shade to the side with three bicycle enthusiasts wearing their full bicycle attire sitting with their coffee chatting. Still unsure of this place but very curious. I met with the sole employee, Juan, who happily greeted me and discussed the pastries and Italian coffee options. The inside boasted two old time full aprons hanging on the wall, beautiful shiny steel espresso machine and several pastry items in a display case which includes: Pon de Bona, Chicken Empanada, Ham and Cheese Bread, Tequeno, Blueberry and Cinnamon Muffins - most items for $3.99. Some cold drinks offered are Red Bull, Celsius, Izze Sparkling Soda and of course Gatorade. For true coffee gurus they sell a gourmet specialty pouch of Watts&Coffee 100% Arabica for $17.99 - i guess there are flakes of gold mixed inside the grinds. They also advertise a 16oz frothy coconut refreshing drink for $7.99. OK, the shot of the Italian espresso was very hot and delish, not uncommon though, but at a steep $3.99, which is at the higher end for a single espresso. Just a very little coffee shop with a unique twist. I will return soon to try the blueberry muffin. Strong 3.7 star rating during this adventure.

He was very friendly and helpful in picking our items. He was also extremely knowledgeable with coffee/espresso. Love going to a coffee shop that actually knows what they're doing. Ended up getting a Cortado and my wife got the Americano with caramel. Both were DELICIOUS! So good so that I bought a bag of their beans which are roasted locally by a roaster in Coral Springs. The Cortado was smooth and silky with perfectly textured milk. Also grabbed a slice lemon blueberry cake as well as a beef empanada. Couldn't be happier. They have some seating in there which was made out of pallets and wood. Super cool. If you are looking for a good cup of coffee, run, don't walk here.

We ordered some coffee and pastries for Togo before being on our way to run errands. I didn't like my fiancée's coffee either. But the highlight of today's order was beef empanadas for me. Get it warmed up and order yourself one and tell me what you think. Unless I have been super hungry, it is one of the better empanadas I have tasted. Pan de bono was good too, it had a nice taste and texture. I recommend this place to others.
