A hidden gem! You'll miss it if you don't look hard enough but thankfully we came across this small and friendly cafe. Service was amazing from the moment you walk into the door, pet friendly, and so many offerings and things to try! Great for breakfast, a quick pick me up, or a delicious treat. They will soon be opening up another location in Weston, stay tuned!

I love this place!! It's my favorite I've been more than 5 times now and every time everything is amazing. Service is always top tier! The brie is the best sandwich there

Buddy's Bakery--man, even though I didn't try any of the sweets, everything looked so yummy. The display alone makes you want to try one of everything. I ordered the cinnamon bun coffee, and it was so good--warm, comforting, and full of flavor. On top of that, the staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Definitely a spot I'd come back to, especially to finally try those desserts next time

Cute place but my biggest complaint was High prices & the Bogo sign for desserts was false advertising see pictures attached I paid $13.31 for 2 desserts that's regular price Service was good Ambiance was good.

This is the second time my husband and I have visited and the food and service are always impeccable. The croissants are so unique and well made and the coffee is delicious. Gives a family vibe and all workers are super helpful and engaging. If you are looking for a cute and tasty local coffee spot definitely come check out Buddies.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted (by the amazing Mocha) with a full welcoming smile and warmth. Then the pastry case. Wow! I immediately wanted one of everything (but I had to contain my excitement and pick just a few items). The Chai and the Cappuccino... smooth, strong, creamy, frothy, and just the right temperature. The ham, egg, and croissant sandwich... a pleasure. Eggs were fluffy and creamy, ham was the right amount of flavorful and the croissant held it all together, crispy, soft and buttery. My favorite, the lemon croissant...a must for the lover of zesty, creamy while still having a light and airy crisp. How is this possible? Brilliant, decadent, crave-able, a party for the tastebuds. My first time will not be my last. See you soon, Buddie.

Pistachio croissant on the left is what I got, with my vanilla latte on right. friend ordered the other croissant for her.

$20 grand total for a med iced latte w vanilla & a pistachio croissant is outrageous!! While the croissant was buttery & flakey, it did not constitute $9.99 price tag, especially considering the size was like any other croissant. I don't like too much sweetness & decadence in food, as the pistachio drizzle on top was just that. If they went alil lighter on the drizzle, would have been better. The place is small so on a Saturday morning when we went, it was packed. Luckily there are 3 tables outside so we sat outside. It got really loud inside as well as there is some sort of echo, especially with the tables all being against the wall. When, I think he is the owner?, brought out our food, he assumed I got the sandwich w chips vs just croissant instead of asking before about putting it down in front of me (just because I'm heavier than my friend doesn't mean I eat more -_-) I would recommend Buddie's for those that do have a sweet tooth and want to try something different. And I wouldn't not go back again, I would give another try but yet again, since I don't like sweets, I can't find myself spending another $10 on a plain croissant.

Pistachio latte- good I only wish it had more of a nutty flavor Pistachio croissant -delicious and has pistachio creme in the middle White chocolate croissant -on the sweeter side and has white chocolate creme on the inside and has coconut shavings Scrambled egg breakfast - a very good portion, I substitute the pancakes for Belgian waffle and turkey bacon Plain croissant- had a vanilla glaze which was not too sweet Everyone was super nice and helpful with the menu It was small but it's a cozy ambiance and they have seating inside and outdoors

I love supporting local businesses especially when I travel or go back to where I used to live. I found Buddies while I was visiting my mom. I decided to get a bunch of things because everything looked so good. I had an iced strawberry matcha. It came with whipped cream which I actually would have preferred it didn't. It was very sweet but I liked that they used real strawberries in it at least. 3/5 Also had a pistachio croissant. Again, the icing and filling were really sweet but I loved the flavor overall. However, it was $10, and I just think that's way too much for a croissant. 3/5 Banana bread was delicious and filling. 4/5 My mom had the alfajor I left behind but she said it tasted chemically and actually brought it back. 1/5 Honestly the best thing I had there was by far the empanadas. Some of the best empanadas I've ever tasted. I had the chicken, spinach & cheese, and guava & cheese. Such good flavors. The chicken was moist and seasoned to perfection. The crusts were nice and firm. Guava and cheese was the perfect amount of sweet and savory. 5/5 The women working there were also super nice. Ambiance was pleasant. There are lots of tables to sit, including a couple outside. I'd like to try a few more things next time, including their meals. This time it was a bit hit or miss but generally pretty good!

We stopped in after getting off our cruise for some breakfast. This place is so clean and cozy! They have wonderful atmosphere and very kinda attentive family style staff. All the food we had was delicious, the bathroom was clean, over all a very great experience. They have a huge selection of sweets and baked goods as well as a full brunch menu. Large menu of coffees and drinks as well. It is a little pricey in our opinion but they provided great quality product and service.

Absolutely loved everything! Hands down one of the best bakeries I've been too. Would come back hands down again and again. The cashier was a woman did not get her name but so nice and attentive. Great atmosphere.

Great breakfast spot. Good good for great value, took home so baked goods and those were delicious. Really enjoyed my latte. It was consistently busy but rotating enough that everyone could order and get a table. Very clean, with very friendly service. It was nice to be able to bring our doodle with us. Would love to come back!

What a gem I recently found in Cooper City! I've been twice now and I have really enjoyed stopping in Buddies Bakery both times! I love their pistachio latte and the presentation when you drink it in house is amazing! Staff is friendly and helpful with their recommendations! They offer a pretty big menu with breakfast, lunch, and sweets/pastries. Food wise I have enjoyed the omelette empanada which was the perfect afternoon snack to go with my pick me up coffee and I tried the breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel most recently for breakfast. The bagel was loaded with eggs, cheese, bacon, and cream cheese ! It was a huge sandwich and very filling. I also brought my husband home a ham, egg, and cheese croissant which was also huge and delicious. I was able to redeem a free small caramel macchiato for checking in :)! Highly recommend checking out buddies bakery!

This is the kind of place you need to visit multiple times because there's no way you could order everything that looks/sounds good; you'd be leaving with the display cases. With over 10 unique flavor choices, their empanadas are hands down some of the best I've ever had. It's almost impossible to describe how the crust is both flaky, yet sturdy & loaded with ingredients. They're buttery, soft & delicious. My favorite is the short rib but I also really enjoy the caprese & the ham & cheese. The fresh ingredients really make these things stand out in an area that has plenty of empanadas around. Look no further, come here for your fix. Their iced lattes & hot coffees are crafted to order. While there isn't a massive selection to choose from, they definitely do it right. Well balanced flavors, no bitterness, not too sweet. Their pastries are also great. The croissants are airy, flaky & buttery. I really liked their brownie but it sure is sweet. It's chocolatey, rich, moist & big enough to share between 2 people. They offer boxes that contain mini versions of their pastries so you can try multiple without committing to an entire item. The dining area is small but there's some tables inside & a couple outside. The employees are always very nice but service is definitely slow when there's a crowd. I prefer getting my orders to-go & I'm usually served in a reasonable time. Next time you're feeling empanadas or want a new bakery to visit, stop on by. You'll be sure to find some delicious things here.

The hardest thing was trying to decide which of the empanadas to try, they all sounded and looked delicious. They have some unique flavors that I've never seen elsewhere such as mushroom, prosciutto and Brie, short rib, sweet corn, and cheeseburger. They also serve mini quiche, croissant sandwiches, soup, salads, flatbreads, egg's Benedict, breakfast and brunch all day. They offer several different types of coffees both hot and cold and the iced mocha latte I had tasted great. There are a few tables if you choose to eat in and the place is spotless. The lady that helped us was very nice and patiently answered my questions. It's a bit on the pricey side which I don't mind paying for quality food.

Upon entering there were a couple tables and wall bar seating. Contact was immediately made with the sole employee, Erica, who was very friendly and explained the empanada options and provided me with a togo menu. Everything sounded delish but of course I went with the spicy beef for $3.79 - which is an average price. The other menu options were Humita, Ground Beef, Chicken and Knife-Cut Beef. I paid Erica and then slight confusion and dissatisfaction set in. The all too common box pull from the giant freezer where Erica removed one empanada and placed it into the oven. Upon my interest she advised me that the frozen empanadas are sent to the store about every two days to sell. In addition, they advertise from 10 $26 to 50 $115 empanadas, "Frozen directly from the freezer to oven, without dishes, without utensils, for all tastes" for big orders parties catering ect. I get the simple concept, but do you lose the bake, oven, eat taste? They also have sweet empanadas - apple cinnamon and dulce de leche for $3.79. Breakfast too - Omelette or Guave & Cheese $3.79. Offer Vegan options too - Vegan Arab, Somozas and Spinach also $3.79. My taste decision on empanadas alone at best is average, although, the perfectly small menu and the super low prices where every item on the menu is $3.79 really entices me to rate higher than normal. This top notch bathroom (very important) was so beautiful with the quaint bench and sparkling clean. I was praying for something great to happen upon first bite into the crispy shell. Well, Erica had her sights on me after our brief frozen food conversation. The shell was very crispy and the beef was smoking hot, moist and average tasting but not very spicy. Im gonna come back with the wife for another try at this shop and try the Sweet Apple Cinnamon Empanada. A strong 3.3 star rating today and hope to update it on my next adventure here.
