However, as soon as I met both Jennifer & Sean, I was immediately put at ease at how laid-back they were. *On the plus side, they had hired a fantastic makeup artist, who also took on hair-styling, so I didn't even have to worry about any of that! Come on, who doesn't love to be pampered, even just a little bit?* The entire shoot lasted a few hours, but it felt like a whole long adventure! I went in with a naked face, and by night, I was rocking a completely different look that was fiercely more dramatic...I was LOVING it! The Jacobs pretty much helped me transition from thinking "oh god, I don't really know what I'm doing" to "I GOT THIS!" in just one session. Not only were they extremely open to suggestions, but they also had a good amount of input as to what they wanted (which I personally prefer). There was a great sense of communication and professionalism throughout the session and even before we had met up. After the shoot, I received the edited photos in a reasonable amount of time, as promised. Gotta say, I was blown away at the outcomes...I could barely recognize myself in some! I've never done a boudoir shoot before, and wanted to dive into the headspace of what is sexy. I wanted to challenge myself to feel sexy beyond the surface means of lingerie and poses. Georgia's vision to create something that makes you "uncomfortable" was interesting. Being uncomfortable isn't a bad thing as it sounds, but a state of being intrigued, curious and even a little daring. After my experience, I recommend doing such a liberating thing, not because you want to present your future husband with some pretty pictures, but because you have every right to feel beautiful and have fun with your body in the way that you want to. For me it's about self-acceptance. I took my photos when I wasn't in the best shape, my skin was breaking out AND I was on my period. But it didn't matter. I had fun, I let go and it was absolutely safe to be myself in front of Georgia. I believe every woman should experience this for themselves.

Sarah is the make up artist, and she did a wonderful job listening to my requests. I wanted a glamorous look and she did just that, as well as tailoring it to my outfits. Sarah was also great at making sure that my hair and makeup continued to look great throughout the whole shoot. Devi is such a comfortable photographer to be around. She is great at directing so it takes the nervousness out of being a model. I really enjoyed the creativity she came up with for some of the shots, using props and different poses.
