I am so happy. I bought three stainless steel cuff bracelets off the Internet to give to my…read moredaughters as a gift for Valentine's Day. I wanted to make them special by getting them engraved with their names on each of the bracelets. I called Laser Mark's and I spoke to Jacob who let me know that the laser is flat and they may not be able to engrave a curved bracelet. However, he agreed to let me bring the bracelet cuffs into his shop so he could look at them to determine if it would be possible. He let me know that it may not work but he was willing to try engraving them. I told him that I was willing to risk it since the bracelets were inexpensive and I could purchase them again if it didn't turn out. I am so happy that I took the risk because the bracelets look so much better with the girls' names engraved on them and it makes the gifts more personal. Jacob took special care to put a black tape over the area on the bracelet that was to be engraved to test over the tape so I could see how the name would appear and give my approval before doing the actual engraving. It was a cool process and fun to participate in.

He suggested to put some meaningful symbol in the middle. I loved the idea. He sent me multiple suggestions regarding the symbol and the font of the letters, until I was completely satisfied. He finished his work within 24 hours. When I picked up the plate it looked absolutely gorgeous. Roberto was very easy to work with. His communication by phone and text was prompt and clear. He has very high standards for his work and lets you know if he thinks that something cannot be done. I highly recommend his business.

My friend and I had wanted to pop into a jeweler - so we tried one downtown Morgan Hill but it was closed Monday. So I google search for others and we headed over to Harry's. Closed until 1:30pm- we walked next door to Hobby Lobby to shop around a bit. Then went back. Walking inside the store you can tell that this is not really a jewelry store - it is more a custom made jewelry store where Jack will make your dreams come true. I saw from the sign that he will rhodium your white gold jewelry - and seeing that one of my rings needed some work done - left it with him ($75) to work on. Now this is one of my favorite rings, with my dad's baguettes from his wedding ring in it, made for me from a different jeweler - but I felt comfortable with Jack to do this. I just had a feeling I could trust him. About two weeks later when I had the time to go back (He had told me 3 days) I was able to make it into his store - and the ring just looked great, polished with the rhodium placed back on it to protect it as best it could. Now with the trust built in with his work - I asked him to make my wedding band for me. And he is working on that now. I'll b back soon to leave another review on that item!

After calling 10+ shops in the Bay Area, Heirloom Engravings was the first to say they can do it - and they really delivered. Wade, the Master Engraver, is a true craftsman. He knew the materials inside and out, guided me on the best lettering style, and his workshop reflected someone who genuinely loves what he does. Dropped off Thurs and was ready Tues, coulda been even faster if needed. They apparently have a history of engraving for Tiffany, and it's clear that their primary business is NOT bowling trophies and Little League plaques. I visited 3 other shops before going with Heirloom and it was a night and day comparison in their favor on expertise, confidence and quality.
