I was referred to Brinks by our previous engraver who closed down their shop. I reached out and talked to Nidal, who was not only very friendly, but very knowledgeable. I basically gave him very little direction and left things in his hands; after all, he's the professional. I told him what I wanted etched, where I wanted it etched, and just told him to do whatever he thought was best. I gave him a two-week deadline, but of course the boss asked if we could get it sooner and Nidal came through. We were able to get it back in about 7-8 days. Yelp to the rescue, and within minutes I was on the phone with Valley Trophies. They were able to describe all of the options to me over the phone, and guarantee a pickup within the week. They saved my bacon in so many ways. Getting there was fairly easy, though it was a rainy day and parking is pretty tough in the part of Salinas where they're located. I ended up having to park a few streets down and cut across some alley ways in the rain, but it was worth it. When I walked in they were producing the plaque and had a few questions for me to answer. It was done within minutes, and I was on my way looking like a super hero, and not the forgetful procrastinator that I really am ;). When it arrived on Tuesday I called A&C to ask if they could put an engraved message on the very bottom and have it ready by the end of the week as it was my daughters college graduation. The person over the phone was pleasant and asked if I could bring it in so she could look at it. When I arrived after work I was greeted by the same person I had talked to on the phone, Julie Posey, Owner / Engraver. Julie was extremely helpful as I had never had anything engraved before.
