Two of us stayed at The Enterprise Hotel, located above The Enterprise Pub, during our four-day stay in London from the states. When traveling, we look for walkability, access to local music, good eats, and pubs - and The Enterprise Hotel was perfect for all of our interests.
We were happy with the convenience of being above The Enterprise Pub, a small, cozy pub with a small but solid menu, and good vibes with many locals. The weather was ideal when we were in town (mid-August), so the pub opened all the windows, and it obviously became the spot to watch football games. During the day there were loud football crowds, but we enjoy that kind of thing - plus, it didn't become a problem in the evenings as the pub closes at 11 pm.
Our room was modern and extremely clean, and we were happy to come back to our room each day of our stay organized, fresh linens, etc. It seemed like housekeeping didn't come until the afternoon, which is two thumbs up for us! They provided coffee, tea, bathroom supplies, and all that you can expect from any decent hotel.
The Enterprise Hotel itself is very small (I want to say approx. 20 rooms), but there is always a friendly staff person on duty at the entrance, which is around the corner from the entrance to the pub. It is located only a few steps away from the underground Chalk Town station, which allowed us to navigate throughout the city with ease. It was also steps away from a ton of bars and restaurants, as well as Camden Market.
Our only downside to The Enterprise Hotel was the shotty WiFi; we didn't have network while traveling in the UK, so we heavily relied upon WiFi internet access, which the hotel advertised they provided and a primary reason why we booked here. Additionally, we booked the room through Travelocity, which claimed there was free cancellation at The Enterprise Hotel. When our flight to London was delayed, we called to cancel our first night in advance, but it was not honored :(
All in all, I'd definitely recommend The Enterprise Hotel and would 100% recommend staying in Camden if traveling to London! read more
