One thing that really stands out is how on point the theming is. They pay attention to the small details, even down to the doors you walk through to enter each room, which really helps set the tone before the game even starts and makes the whole experience feel more immersive. The puzzles are creative and the rooms flow really well, keeping things engaging the entire time. Some rooms are a little scarier while others are more fun or silly, which makes it great to visit multiple times. The game masters are always awesome. They are friendly, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about what they do. They're also great about adapting to the style of hints your group prefers. They'll give unlimited hints if you want them, but they're also really respectful if you'd rather play without nudges. Whenever we go, we ask for no hints unless we request them, and they always stick to that. They've also given really solid recommendations for other escape rooms locally and even throughout the state, and they were the ones who told us about the Morty app for finding and rating escape rooms. Escape Ventures is easily one of the best escape room companies in Orlando! They currently offer six original and wonderully themed rooms, and when we visited on September 7, 2025, we had the opportunity to do every single one them. Whether you are a seasoned enthusiast or brand new to the hobby, I would wholeheartedly recommend making the trip. They are worth it. The first room we played was Operation Arctic Storm: The Final Meltdown and Dennis was our game master. Arctic Storm hit all the right notes for me. Just know that I care about immersion and story and this already set my standards high for how the rest of the day will go. Next, we got to do The Satirical Miracle: A Jolly Tale of Granny's Blackmail, a super fun Christmas-themed room. Even though we have played many rooms with a holiday theme, this one still made us smile with their unique spin (and throw). Neighborhood Watcher and Cornstalkers were probably the rooms that made my heart beat the fastest in this location. Felix, our game master, deserves a raise. I felt like a kid again (stranger danger) and I never knew how fast I could run, especially when being chased around by a scarecrow. I won't go into spoilers but they are labeled thrillers for a reason. Bros for Life and Outage are such different rooms but they exemplify what Escape Room Ventures does best - take a concept that you think you know and they will still find a way to surprise you. Their game masters in this location are passionate, engaged, and attentive. Hints are given thoughtfully (never too soon). I trust them completely to deliver an outstanding experience every time and I can't wait to see what they create next. I've never bro'd so hard in my entire life! This was an escape room we discovered completely on a whim, and I didn't even realize it was right across the street from the Waterford Lakes Town Center. We wanted to do an escape room that was kind of difficult but still something that we'd still have fun with so we did the fraternity option where the premise was to break into the deans office and steal a trophy. Overall we had a great time and were able to escape with time to spare. The game host was awesome as far as being in character and providing us hints when needed without giving everything away. Hands down one of the best escape room businesses in Orlando! Currently they have five unique and original rooms open at this location, and I can recommend all of them highly to enthusiasts and newbies alike. On my first visit in June 2021, I tried The Satirical Miracle: A Jolly Tale of Granny's Blackmail, a super fun Christmas-themed room, with a team of four. I greatly appreciate a room with a creative and original storyline, and all of the rooms at this location are overflowing with creativity and uniqueness. Our game master, Leigh, kept the theme up well and gave us a great experience that made us come back within the month to experience Bros for Life: Fraternity Heist and Outage: No Vacancy with the same group. Bros for Life is probably my favorite room at the location. The Escape Ventures always excels with their scenic, but from the first room of Bros I was blown away by the immersion. Our game master, Tori, also gave a great performance. The puzzles in this and every EV room flow well and give great "a-ha!" moments. I have never done another room like Outage. The majority of the time in the room is spent in complete darkness, so be prepared to keep anything that lights up tucked away to have the best and most immersive experience. Despite the darkness, the room is not overly spooky, but talk to the game master (in our case, Leigh again!) about any concerns you might have prior to starting. This room will test your teamwork and stretch your brain in ways you might not be used to. Last year, we visited their last two rooms, Operation Arctic Storm: The Final Meltdown and Neighborhood Watcher. Operation Arctic Storm has some incredible moments that I won't spoil--but let me just say it lives up to the scenic expectations set by Bros for Life. Our game master, Laurence, also gave a legendary, award-worthy performance. Neighborhood Watcher is EV's spookiest game and made me feel like I was a kid solving a mystery in a nostalgic kids' adventure movie. Rebeca was our game master and she also gave a great (and spooky!) performance. I love that I can point to Escape Ventures as a fantastic business where I can recommend every single room. Their game masters are phenomenal, well-trained, and attentive listeners who know better than to bombard you with clues when you don't need them. This was truly one of the best if not THE best escape room location I've been to. The staff were so great and the room were exciting, innovative, and fun. First room we did was Fraternity Heist. It was so funny and incorporated so many fun puzzles. Rina was such a great host for this one. Major props to her. It was so great we decided to immediately sign up for Neighborhood Watcher 20 minutes later. Neighborhood Watcher was really good and our host (curly red hair), was such a great actor. He tuned the scariness to what we needed and when it got a little too scary for someone in the group he dialed it back perfectly. Incredibly immersive rooms! I've taken my step kids here for three of their rooms so far. Each time I feel like the room was better than the last. Bros for life is probably my favorite room so far. My youngest is 11 and she really enjoyed Granny's blackmail. The blackout room was a little too scary for her but the rest of us really enjoyed it. (she's scared of the dark and most of the room is in the pitch black) The puzzles were well-designed and challenging, but not impossible. The rooms are very well-decorated, and the atmosphere was really immersive. One of the things I really appreciated about Escape Ventures was the staff. They were friendly and helpful, and they were always available to answer questions. They also gave us some great hints when we were stuck. Which really came in handy a couple of times. We consider our group escape room experts and Outage was something none of us had experienced yet because 60% of the room is performed in pitch black darkness. We enjoyed the room and found it challenging enough as we only escaped with 7 minutes on the clock. You really learn a lot about your friends when having to perform puzzles and riddles in pitch black. haha I would love to come back and try their other room and apparently they have another room opening up in a few months that sounds fun as well. Fucking amazing. I just finished an escape room with four of my friends. We did the neighborhood watcher room. It was phenomenal. It has a live actor and it felt so real kind of like a live action roleplay type of thing. I would highly recommend not only this room but the venue itself. I highly recommend it. Our game master Taylor is amazing! I love this place because they really get into their roles and deliver your story so strongly. From the rooms to the staff, Escape Ventures is a fantastic experience. Jon and Lauran were both super helpful and great game masters. They were really accommodating and definitely immersed themselves in the "roles" they played as part of the rooms. As for the rooms, the design of each is incredible. The thought that goes into the details is beyond compare. You really feel like you're in the location rather than just a decorated room. "Bro's Life" genuinely transported me back to university. "Granny's" felt like a real home Christmas. "Outage" was the definition of creepy, dilapidated building. Everything comes together to build a holistic, complete experience. Wow! I'm floored by this place. I've played over 340 escape rooms which means it's hard to find those games that blow me away and leave me astounded. MUCH less to find three game's at the same location that can do that. Bro's For Life was such a fun, amazing adventure. It is a one of a kind experience with unique puzzles. Satirical Miracle - Granny's Blackmail- So flipping cute and fun!! Such a unique and exciting experience. Outage - I've played three prior "dark" rooms. And they were not for me. They just didn't get my motor running. I had no interest in playing Outage at first because that type of room was never my cup of tea. After about 10 other people gushed about this room, we decided to add it on last minute. IT WAS EVERYTHING a "dark" escape room should be. It was so fun and perfectly executed. I can't tell you how excited I am for this business to come out with more games. This place was awesome. Also, Char was our GM during the two different days we were there and for all three of our games. She made the experience great. This is currently my favorite escape room in Florida. My husband & I did Bros For Life with our friends. The staff was extremely friendly and our game host was fantastic. The rooms were immersive, extremely detailed, and the puzzles flowed very well. I loved that we had unlimited clues & that we could hear our game master talk back to us. I would recommend doing this room with at least 4 people, as some of the puzzles are a bit challenging without a group working together. I was very impressed with some of the creative elements of this game. There was a lot of excitement and the themed work out really well for this room. I wasn't sure at first what to expect, but it was very fun. The storyline wasn't weird and there was nothing scary about this room. A must play for escape enthusiasts . We're from SoCal and have done some exceptional rooms (Stash House, Lab Rat, Hidden Donkey , etc), but the fraternity Bros for Life room is now up there in our top 5 rooms. Game master was on point super courteous. We sadly had played a not so great of a room the day before at another location and were going back home until our flight got cancelled. Thankfully so, because this room reignited my love for escape rooms once again. Fun unique puzzles, so much money put into production If this review helped you and your decision then be sure to leave a review because as of now I'm only #15 Can't wait to come back and try their other rooms when we can Ps. this room was great for us two as a team, it's level difficulty is 8/10 and it sure showed with its (what we were able to count) 24 or so puzzles. I have been to plenty of other establishments in Orlando as well as in other cities, but this is now likely my favorite place. I booked a room for the "Frat Heist" with 2 other friends and we were soooo impressed that we booked immediately to try their other room that same day. "Outage" is a unique experience as a portion is done completely in the dark. Overall the puzzles were very well designed and the rooms were decorated meticulously. I would recommend this escape room location. I have done at least 2 escape rooms here but most recently I did the Neighborhood Watchers escape room. It was very fun, good puzzle pacing, and very immersive. The theme was fun and even the hint system was immersive and cool. It is mental but also interactive and physical. I've done all of my escape rooms with only 2 people and they actually let us go a little over the time as I was with a person brand new to escape rooms and they didn't have a booking afterwards, which was very nice of them. My favorite part about this location is that all of their rooms that I've done has at least a little bit of a physical activity needed to solve the room (accessible for the majority of people though). read more

We've done escape rooms all over the US and we were really impressed with this one. We did Outage: No Vacancy and we loved it!. First of all, most of it is in just about complete darkness so it makes you rethink how you solve riddles and work together. They also had great tech and story lines and none of the typical laminated clues that you see at a lot of places. Everything was organic and well thought out.
