Oh this was SO MUCH FUN! Our group made it out in 40min out of the hour allotted time. We chose the Dark Mansion room which was the mid-level difficulty. Without giving any spoilers just know you are on camera so never left fully alone and can ask for clues if you get stuck. Solving different riddles and moving stuff around will trigger effects or even open doors to New rooms! It was sooooo much fun! We visited escape artists on a Friday night. We were running a little late, but they were really nice about it. Once we all signed our waivers, they got us inside and showed us a rules video and also a story intro video. We did the ninja room which was an hour long. We had a really great time in this room. I like that they had a walkie talkie to look at us, and it wasn't entirely reliant on the TV screen. We ended up asking for 2 clues, but they gave us hints along the way if they felt we were going down the wrong rabbit holes. One of their effects had technical difficulties, so they paused our time to troubleshoot, and then came and manually got us through that step. We got out with 15 minutes to spare. Emmi and Maya knocked it out of the park for us. Overall it was an awesome time, and I'm excited try more rooms from these guys! I also wanted to add: this room had some divide and conquer potential, but not a ton. At any given time there were usually 2 or 3 things you could work on. It was nice because there were 6 of us so it kept us all busy. read more

This was a great room! We have done several escape rooms over the past few years, i was very impressed with this one. We did Baldwin Manor with a family of 4, was good for kids... my 10yr old rocked it! The clues were just hard enough that it presented a challenge, but nothing that would be considered easy. I am looking forward to visiting there again. My one downfall would be the price, it was a little more expensive than other rooms we have been to. You pay for what you get... read more

Want an hour full of fun that involves the problem-solving skills of your friend group or family? I found Escape Artists a great first immersion into escape rooms. Fortunately half of my family had participated in a number of escape rooms prior to today's challenge. We needed that experience in the Baldwin Manor room, and, had we 30 more seconds, we might have solved the puzzle and "escaped!" I learned as we progressed, finding out where important details might be right in front of me and overall paid more attention to the details and how to decipher clues. The Game Master aided us as we called on him (3 clues max) through the 2-way hand-held radios, and, although we didn't "escape", he asked us a question or two so that we could solve the puzzle. After we finished, we were informed that if we booked another room within a short amount of time, we would receive a discount. I definitely recommend Escape Artists in beautiful downtown Baldwin Park and would try out their other room(s). read more

My husband and I recently became addicted to escape rooms (we did three the past weekend) and our favorite by far is Escape Artists' Orlando location (we will most definitely be visiting their Sanford location soon!). Now, we haven't successfully "escaped" either room at Escape Artists Orlando, but we still had a great time. We first tried "Ninja" and then came back the next day for the "Baldwin Manor" room. I'm not going to spoil anything but both rooms are very interactive, well thought out and fun! Trust me - I'm holding back my fingers as I want to go into full details of their awesomeness, but I will not ruin the fun for anyone else. I also have to say that our game master (sorry, I'm so bad with names!) was amazing! He was personable, helpful and made us feel like champions even though we didn't "win." My husband and I will definitely be back when they roll out their newest room "Dream," which should be up and running really soon! read more

This is the worst escape room I have ever been to. Can not recoommend. Three things didn't work. Battery was low on the remote, phone didn't work and something that was supposed to be a flame didn't work. The irony is that a previous customer had also complained and it wasn't corrected. What a waste of money. Don't ask us to pay good money and give us a crappy environment. Escape rooms are supposed to be fun. Not frustrating because things don't work. read more

There's no escaping the fun at Baldwin' Park's Escape Artists. This was our second outing and the Ninja experience did not disappoint. We had a blast celebrating our son's birthday (and last day before heading back to UF), and the room was both challenging and engaging. We ended up with a tight win - down to the wire - but there was never a boring moment. Jennings was our adept guide. always there with a handy clue when needed. Escape Artists for sure lives up to the hype that I've seen on different Facebook groups. I recently escaped the room "Dream" with my husband. Honestly it was VERY expensive to go with just two people. Our third person wasn't able to make it so we ended up paying around $70ish per person for 2 people for this room. The rooms were very creative, but there was a lot of "just find the combination" type situations. I really did enjoy the room but wish that the price point had been lower. I think this room is honestly best with 2 people. I think with 3, there would've been a person standing around a lot bored. read more

Escape Artists' Sanford location has long been my favorite escape room business of all time. When I heard they were opening a second location slightly closer to me in Orlando, I was thrilled. As you may have guessed from my rating, they met my expectations once again! We did both the Ninja room and Baldwin Manor as part of their "soft opening." I have played new rooms before at some other businesses and run into a lot of hiccups, but in my experience Escape Artists always makes sure their rooms are polished before opening them. There's not much I can say without spoiling some of the amazing moments you'll have if you play these rooms. But I can say that the scenery is immersive, the puzzles are unique and just hard enough, and you will have some very satisfying "aha!" moments as you play these games. I've been going back and forth, but I think overall I preferred the Ninja room. Baldwin Manor, however, had possibly the coolest moment in any escape room I've ever played. I won't spoil it but make sure your whole group is in the room whenever you do something that you think could trigger anything. For those who don't like spooky rooms, don't worry too much about Baldwin Manor. It has a dark ambience but it's not that scary unless you psych yourself out. If you've played Rest Easy in Sanford, it's about on par in creepiness. Whether you're a seasoned escaper or looking to play your first room, you can't go wrong with Escape Artists. read more

I've done over 150 escape rooms in Seattle, LA, New Orleans, Houston, and the Bay Area. I actively travel and seek out the best escape rooms in the US, so this review is catered specifically to enthusiasts looking for unique, high quality rooms. Ninja - high 3 / 5. (Rank 77 / 156, A decent room, and one of the better ones in the Orlando area) Ninja is a half tech / half locks with some more physical puzzles that make it feel just a little different from your more traditional rooms like Baldwin Manor, and was my preferred room out of the two here. It still feels a bit too familiar though, and though it's still reasonably polished and fun with a decent mix of tech, it doesn't quite stand out for someone who has done a lot of rooms. Still, this is one of the better rooms in the area so feel free give it a shot, especially if you like feeling a bit like a ninja. Set - The set was reasonable- you're infilitrating a japanese themed house with a bunch of reasonable asian props, and they had a bunch of custom stuff for the game. Puzzles - Ninja had about half traditional escape room puzzles (including one lengthy logic based one), and half more physical "puzzles" that have some gimmicks attached to them. Gimmicks are good though since its more unique than most rooms, and though these puzzles were fairly simple, they did convey the ninja theme well. One of the physical "puzzles" was completely new to me which was kinda neat - i'm not sure if you'll see it elsewhere due to the logistical (and maybe slightly sketchy safety) concerns with it, but it was fun and on theme. Story - You're trying to reveal that someone is an evil ninja or something - the story is thin and not too involved. However, even though there isn't a ton of real narrative or progression, the game did a decent job at making you feel like a ninja with the theming of the puzzles and what you actually had to do with some of the puzzles. read more

I believe this must be a newer place, so I understand why things aren't as smooth as other rooms. Hence, I'll give an average score. The employees are helpful, the design of the interior of the establishment is good, the problem lies within the rooms itself. I think with enough feedback, this place could easily be bumped up a star. Here's what's up: 1. The rooms didn't flow. Usually, when starting a room, there is a definitive starting point, somewhere you can say "alright, this is definitely gonna be where we should start". While I did see a clue which I decided to take as my starting point, I felt that after each clue there was a definite confusion on where we should go next. For instance, if you get a key out of a box, you should know to unlock something with that key, then in that box you get a map that helps with the next puzzle, ect. 2. The rooms kept criss-crossing too much. I had to keep going back and forth in each room to unlock things. I get it if you have to bring a box or a map from one room to the next, but I even bumped my head going in between the rooms over 10 times. It again disturbs the flow of the room. 3. This is the biggest thing for me. When you would line up the objects in a certain order, the mechanics would not immediately work. You had to keep fiddling with them and even then, our game master had to come in the rooms to fiddle with the objects in order for it to work. So technically we escaped, but didn't? It takes away the magic of the win. 4. One of the objects in the room included smell. This is great, except I couldn't for the life of me tell which smell was which in-between two of them. My husband couldn't either. And there were I think trick smells that may have been used as a distraction? It ended up confusing the puzzle. Anyways, I think these are all things that could be fixed or tweaked, so it can truly shine. I do see the potential. read more

Such a great time! We did Baldwin Manor and it was definitely challenging, but so much fun! There are several surprises and the RFID aspects of the clues make the experience so much more immersive! Also, your guide is there via camera and microphone.. much more fun as it's just you and your friends in the room, but help is always there when needed! Escape Artists in Orlando is home of the greatest escape room I've ever been to. I've been here 3 times. First to do "Baldwin Manor", then "Ninja", and lastly, today, to do "Dream". The first two were great, but "Dream" was next level. It incorporated so many themes that we really enjoyed and I don't want to give anything away (and I won't) so I'm just going to say that you must go to this place. It wasn't overly difficult and the clues just made so much sense and was ultimately the most satisfying escape room experience I've ever had. Our "key master" or host or whatever you call it was great and really cared about our experience. If you like escape rooms, you absolutely must do this room. And while you're at it do "Ninja" too, it's definitely worth it. read more

Amazing experience. Our host and game master Bobby was excellent. He was attentive enough to see our marker was not working so he got us a new one without us even asking. He was very accommodating with an issue with had regarding booking time. Clues were perfect, not dead giveaways but just pointing out bbn someth in ng we had not seen. We did Baldwin Manor and the room was great. Perfect feel and look as well as good challenging clues. We've done 29 different rooms and this experience was definately one of our top ones. We can't wait to try out the ninja room and then go try their Sanford location. read more

Went and played both their rooms tonight at the Orlando location! Both rooms are challenging but fair, definitely would recommend playing them both. I would say Baldwin Manor was more fun and Ninja was more challenging, but equally as good. Devin was our game master, super nice dude!
