I went yesterday for Mother's Day with my kids. I have been many many times before and always enjoyed the games. Our game guide was Tony and he made the game so much more fun for us. We really enjoyed ourselves. The only issue I have is the cost of this has gone up so drastically I feel. For 4 of us it was almost $200. That's crazy for one hour of game time. This was really fun. We've done the Escape Game in Pigeon Forge too and they're both really immersive. Here we did the Playground so it was kind of perfect with kids becaise if rhey got distracted on the playground the competitive adults could really getting cracking in the clues. They did help us with the clues a lot as our hour came to a close which is always nice when we have kids there. Im sure if it were just grown-ups we could've said we wanted less clues. read more

Very fun room where you are split from your team in the beginning, lots of yelling and laughing!! The room was challenging but we had unlimited clues and were able to get out with a minute to spare. Located not far from I-4 and in a large shopping center with restaurants and shopping, there's ample parking right outside The Escape Game. The front entrance implied a small establishment, but that's the first place they "getcha". The front door opens to a what I would consider a small lobby with a couple of ipads on the left wall for you to digitally sign your waiver if you don't want to do it on your phone. The walls are painted and decorated with superhero and adventure cartoons in bright colors. I especially liked the large world map on the wall that were filled with red map pins of locations around the world. I didn't confirm, but I'm guessing that these red pins represented countries or origin of the players who have visited The Escape Room. And there were an impressive representation! Personally I have never done an escape room so this was going to be a learning experience. After signing waivers, we were introduced to our "guide". She was a very enthusiastic young lady (I forgot her name) who gave us the low down. We were a party of 7 and we were doing The Heist... one of the most difficult rooms! Let's just say that we failed miserably, but boy did I have fun! I didn't have high hopes at the beginning, but I was wrong. The puzzles, clues, locks, hidden panels... all very elaborate and ingenious! Even though he had "unlimited" clues, we didn't use them as much as we should have because we were stubborn and wanted to figure it ourselves. Next time I would highly recommend you get as many clues as quickly as you can because you will run out of time fast! When our 60 minutes ran out, our new guide came into the room and told us that we sucked! No he didn't say that, but he probably wanted to. We asked him many questions about what we were supposed to do and he patiently walked us through what we had left. And we had a lot left! Like he said, it was one of the more difficult rooms. For my first experience, this was a lot of fun! It's especially more enjoyable if you do it with a group of friends or family. Working together and communication is key. It is a large place despite it's smallish entrance with 11 different rooms and adventures. It's not cheap at $50 a person, it's something you would probably not do every week. I've done a lot of escape rooms, and The Escape Game Orlando is easily one of the best experiences I've ever had. My family and I did The Depths while on a family vacation celebrating my mom's birthday, and it was incredible. The game is listed as a 7/10 difficulty, and it was the perfect balance of challenging and fun. We escaped with 15 minutes to spare! Charlotte was our game guide and she was fantastic -- friendly, helpful, and she even made a birthday card for my mom, which was such a thoughtful surprise. Daniel at the front desk also had amazing energy and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We loved our experience so much that we actually came back later the same day to do The Heist. They paired us with a group of three. The group was very nice, but with eight people total it definitely changed the dynamic -- as the saying goes, "too many cooks in the kitchen." I've never been to an escape room where they pair you with other groups without checking first, and I personally think eight players is too many for an optimal experience. Capping rooms at six or offering private-group options at booking would be ideal. That said, the games themselves are phenomenal, the staff is wonderful, and the overall experience is top-tier. I highly recommend The Escape Game Orlando -- just be aware of the grouping policy if you prefer private rooms. read more

Had a great experience here. For starters I was visiting the area solo and looking for something to do. Back home escape rooms are booked group only, no add-ons. Here I was able to pair up with a team of two then later a family of four. It took the whole team! We did the Heist. They claim it's one of the harder rooms. It was difficult for sure and clues were needed throughout (usually followed by an "of course"). The room was well designed with lots of combo locks and puzzles. The staff was excellent. Overall a great experience and glad I went (even as a solo player). The team quickly worked together and had a great time. Can't wait to try one of their other games either here in Orlando or other locations nationwide (make sure you haven't played the same game elsewhere). read more

The Depths escape room was one of the best rooms that we've done. The staff at The Escape Game were wonderful, helpful, and went above and beyond to involve my young daughter. We especially loved the personalized postcards that commemorated our victory at the end (cue victory dance). That's something we haven't had from any other escape room in the past. This is our favorite escape room in Orlando. We always have a wonderful time. Our group is never less than five and sometimes as many as well too many we have to split it between two rooms or three. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. We always manage to escape. It is very clean and safe. I would highly recommend it for some time out or for something different to do. I have been to many escape rooms across Orlando now and this place is definitely one of my top favorites. So far I have done the Gold Rush and the Prison escape rooms and each presented its own brand of delightfully brain-twisting puzzles. The decor and details in the room were amazing and the teamwork required made these rooms even more fun. The interactive sections of the room were incredible and soo much fun. Each person in our group had something different that we loved about each room. The story matched up with the clues and the clues were all in line with the theme of the room. Both rooms had multiple areas with sections I was not expecting to go into and it made it even more exciting to explore a new area after thinking you were almost out. Most of us are Health Physicists, but big brains does not always help you escape. It takes following directions and being a bit clever. Fortunately, we found a way to use each others strengths to work together and escape Mars. There was code-breaking, crawling into some small spaces. If you're looking for an immersive escape room experience this is a great place to go. There are only a few locations in Orlando that actually have the rooms be a part of the escape room instead of old fashioned locks. Which personally are my favorite escape rooms to do. I've come here with my family (ages varying from 12-39) to do two different rooms we've done the Gold Rush and Prison Break. Each of the rooms were very well thought out and had a storyline to follow. The Gold Rush room definitely stumped us a couple of times but we took advantage of the hints. I liked how in the prison break room you started out in two different sections and had to work together in order to get out of your cells. We did boys versus girls for that part and you really do have to use everything in the room to work together. I'm all about teamwork so this was really cool. If you're in the area and thinking of checking out an escape room there are others nearby but I would recommend you go here. Can't wait to go back and try out a couple more rooms. read more

I want to give huge thanks to the staff for helping me with a surprise proposal. They were awesome, especially Lylly the guest experience coordinator and our game guide Laura. My fiancee loves escape rooms and the Heist room at this location was perfect for my plan. I got her best friend to invite us to go and suggest that we dress up like we were going to a fancy art gallery opening. The staff were great and switched out the final painting that we needed to find with one I had made of me kneeling with the ring. It went perfectly and Laura was helping secretly feed me clues to make sure we finished in time. The Escape Game Orlando was incredible!!! The rooms are incredibly immersive and intricate. The quality and staging of everything blew me away. My partner and I are big escape room players. We travel often and always do an escape room wherever we go! The Special Ops room was one of the hardest room we have ever done! It was also one of the coolest. We play as two people so that does contribute to difficulty level, but the person who made our experience special here is Allie. Allie was our game master and she was sooo bubbly, friendly, welcoming, and attentive to us during the game. It is our anniversary and she even surprised us with a card!
