I called and was able to make an appointment in a timely manner. There is plenty of parking in the shared parking lot outside of the business. The employees that I engaged with were pleasant. The doctor and tech that gave me my vision test were thorough & knowledgeable. The eye institute offers a variety of frames for your glasses or you can take your prescription to another location. There is supposed to be an option to text the business after hours or when an employee is unavailable. I used this service but did not get a response back from the business. read more

Dr. Andrew is so wonderful. His bedside manner is great along with his cheerful personality. He is very knowledgeable and gives his patients so much information. He is also very honest & will tell you if you really don't need additional services. I've had eye drs in the past tell me I need a certain service when in reality it wasn't necessary. His staff are friendly and patient when you want to take your time picking out the right frames for glasses. Yesterday I came into this location for an eye exam. The staff here is professional and thorough. I was nervous because I was having issues with my right eye but Dr. Andrew explained everything to me and it was a very minor issue. Mikel was very helpful as well. I was greeted immediately by the extremely friendly staff, they made sure to conduct their COVID scanning process and immediately provided with all of the necessary paperwork to get my appointment started. My eye exam was conducted by extremely competent staff, they knew exactly what they were doing and maintained a very transparent process the entire time. They have a very personable and extremely knowledgeable eye doctor, he quickly understood my vision challenges and laid out the steps necessary to take in order to prescribe the appropriate corrective lenses. I had the displeasure of working with Amber Hinshaw. The purpose of my visit was to spend the funds I have on my flexible spending account before the end of the year. I brought with me a frame that I previously purchased at this location, with the hope of finding the same frame or something similar. My experience with Amber was absolutely disgusting. She was rude, unfriendly, and unwilling to help me find a pair of eyewear. Most of all, and the reason for my review, Amber walked away and returned to the back office while I was in mid-sentence.  She dismissed me as if I was a "no one". The behavior and attitude Amber demonstrated was shocking, she acted as though she has done this in the past. Amber was too comfortable to display her rudeness openly while in front of other customers and her coworkers. I was absolutely embarrassed. Today, you lost my business. My purchase would have been "low-hanging fruit" for your company. It could have very well helped your office meet your quota for the day or even month. I can assure you I would have purchased 3 more frames had I received the same level of customer service I received back in 2018. The company claims to care about their patients but the way that I was treated clearly does not demonstrate that. read more

Doctor Chad Morgan is a superb optometric physician with a great bedside manner. He takes the time to educate his patient about their vision and treatment plan. He is particularly adept at fitting contact lenses. His state of the art facility in Raleigh is particularly impressive, with all of the latest technology available to evaluate the eye. His staff is kind, considerate, responsive and knowledgeable. It is refreshing to leave a medical practice feeling as if all of your needs have been met. We travel a significant distance to obtain care from Doctor Morgan because other vision centers we have tried pale in comparison. I was a new patient who drove an hour to this appointment and it was well worth it. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. My exam with Dr. Morgan was great. He took the time to explain what he was recommending and why and I never felt as though he was in a rush. They offer a great selection of frames and Tiffany helped me pick out a pair that looked great on me as well as showed me how to maximize my insurance benefits since I was getting contacts and glasses. Dr. Morgan is always the most professional, knowledgeable, and caring optometrist that we could ever ask for. We do not trust our eyes to anyone else. He has been treating our family for around nine years. He seeks to constantly improve by continuing his education and training to better serve his patients. We visited Dr. Morgan initially to discuss myopia progression control via Ortho K for my 12 year old son. His nearsightedness had consistently been getting worse year after year. I didn't even know it was possible to slow the progression until I saw a story on the local news. Dr. Morgan was friendly and professional and very thorough in his exam. He's extremely knowledgeable about contact lenses and the latest research in myopia progression control. It turns out my son was not a good candidate for Ortho K but he suggested an alternative (multi focal - non toric) contact lens based on the latest research that my son could wear. We were skeptical because he had tried several different types in the past and wasn't able to tolerate wearing any of them (toric lenses). Dr. Morgan was very patient and encouraging as he coached my son step by step through the process of putting the lenses in. The Dr. was able to find a contact lens that is finally comfortable for him to wear even with his high RX and astigmatism AND he has better vision than he did with his glasses! If these lenses also have the possibility of stopping/slowing the progression of his myopia then it's a win-win! I've already referred several of my friends to Dr. Morgan and feel so grateful to have found him. read more
