I Understand that she needed to have testing done which was completed timely. The issue was waiting for the doctor which she didn't see until 11:40am which is an excessive waiting time and unacceptable. Not sure what is happening in the clinic area but whomever is scheduling needs to be more accurate and considerate of the patient's time and toll it takes on them as most are in their 70s or older. He has a perfectly reasonable, logical explanation for whatever ails you, and he does whatever he can to explain it to you. He also uses technology that - prior to visiting his office - I hadn't seen in other optometrists' offices, like the camera that takes a big, clear photo of the inside of your eye to check for any horrifying abnormalities and to compare the overall state of their health year after year. The rest of the staff was really helpful. An employee that was awesome helped me pick frames and I personally didn't feel any pressure to buy, just helpful suggestions about the shape and color of the frames. There is a reason Carolina Family Vision was voted "Best Eye Doctor" in Holly Springs this year.

They said to go next door to lens crafters and they could get it to me. Lens crafters workers says they do measure it but would only give me my measurements if I was going to buy glasses from them and at check out. I also am pretty sure that my insurance should have covered an annual eye test (due to what's listed under covered benefits)and they still charged me for it.

Eventually it turned into me getting migraines. After returning to their store a few times trying to troubleshoot my issue of feeling like I was crossed eyed when wearing my glasses that were $316 WITH insurance they made me an appointment. At appointment time I was told that I have to pay even more to have it corrected. I will be disputing this with my card and insurance because I refuse to spend even more money when they obviously entered something incorrect pertaining to my astigmatism. I should have never left Carolina Family Vision since I've never had an issue with my prescription from them. Edited to add: I just thought I should fill everyone in. Two months ago they did replace my lenses without a recheck so they actually confirmed that they DON'T have good customer care. I also love their Covid protocols- it felt very clean. It's appointment only to control the amount of people in the store. They also take your temperature and everyone has to keep their mask on.
