I have been a customer at the Eye Shoppe in Apple Valley (Jess Ranch area) for a few years now. I called to ask if my previous glasses and lenses I got from this Optometry was under warranty being my glasses just broke. I received these glasses not too long ago in January. The person who answered the phone told me that they were a new office and that I'm looking for the Eye Shoppe. She told me to call a number which in fact is the Eye Shoppe in Victorville. I do not go to the office in Victorville and I'm beyond confused regarding false information. Dr Lee at the AV office has been my eye Optometrist for years. I drove by the office and the sign is still the same. I looked online and the AV office is still the Eye Shoppe with Dr. Lee.. It's very important I have glasses for work and I'm very upset with the level of unprofessionalism I receive from the front office staff. I do not recommend this place anymore. This is not the first time I was told false information, the last time was regarding the time my insurance covers for my lenses and glasses... I just called back to confirm what the girl told me and another girl answered with laughing in the background and she put me on hold (I am aware my number shows on the phone.) I never complain however this is in no way how a buisness should be and I think the manager needs to pay more attention to how professional her/his employees are acting towards their customers. read more

I was in the shopping center going to lunch next door to the Dr Lee's office. I needed new glasses for the new year and decided to just walk in and see about an appointment. As I walked in I noticed how clean everything was and how well organized the glasses were. They were about to close for lunch but the two ladies at the desk were so sweet. They looked up my insurance benefits and never rushed me. I have two different eye insurance companies and had a few questions. I made three appointments. One for my oldest son for the next day. They scheduled it so he could be seen at the same time as his daddy. Both of them had great appointments and an excellent experience. It was both of their first ever eye exam. I found a super adorable pair of glasses that I just had to have. They offered to hold them for me until my appointment on Monday. This was on a Tuesday. I had questions about my youngest son and they will also be seeing him. It's nice to know your kids have perfect vision and eye health. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. Horrible horrible customer service. I went to pick up my glasses at a time they were supposed to be open. When I had gotten there they laughed from the counter and was saying that they were closed. Clearly they weren't closed because they were supposed to be open for another hour. That was the only time I had off to pick them up since I work a busy schedule. I had to take a day off work just to pick them up and when I told another staff member what happened they just didn't care. They need new staff, they have the same ladies that's been working there for years. All of the staff all have attitudes and very impatient when you are trying on glasses. They even will make you reschedule the day of your appointment. They have done this to me multiple times. I will definitely not be coming back. The doctor doesn't know what he is talking about and his staff just likes to be rude to customers. read more

Dr. Lee is really great! We have 2 boys both with autism and he makes them feel really comfortable while getting their exams done. We use to commute to Irvine or Costa Mesa for our boys but so glad we have Dr. Lee here. We highly recommend him! We prefer the Apple Valley office vs. to the Victorville office. The only thing is Victorville has more frames selection but he also has an office down the hill that carries more frame selection. If you guys are like us who are always busy and need to stick to their appointment time to make it to the next appointments of the day, stick with the Apple Valley office for eye exam. read more

We went to The EyeShoppe Optometry a few weeks ago for much needed eye exams. Dr. Lee was AWESOME, very thorough and explained things in understandable detail. Viviana Bass was so kind and patient with us, a real pleasure to work with. Helen was also very pleasant. It was a truly wonderful experience for us both. Today we picked up our new glasses and what a gift and PLEASURE to be able to SEE clearly again!! We wouldn't think of going anywhere else now (certainly NOT Walmart). Last year my husband and I got an eye exam here. We had no issues and everything went really well. The doctor is great and the front staff were competent in their jobs. This year I called to confirm that they still accept our insurance and to ask if they would be able to use my old frames this year because our insurance covers frames every other year and this is our off year for frames. The woman who answered the phone was very rude and had an attitude as if I was wasting her time or my questions were an inconvenience to her. I am giving 2 stars only because last year we had a good experience. We will not be coming back here for glasses or eye exams. read more

I have been coming here for years but last year they took forever, we were waiting in the waiting room for too long after our appointment time. If there is an appointment made there should be an effort to keep the customers appointment time out of respect for our time. But I decided to give them another chance this year. This year was worse, I waited to be seen by the doctor for over 1 hour! My appointment was the first one in the morning too! The doctor literally walked in the front door 30 minutes after our appointment time and we waited another 45 minutes after that?! Not to mention it's freezing outside and they didn't turn the heater on, we were so cold in there! Also their glasses selection are scarce. I always get my prescriptions and go shopping somewhere else for glasses because this place has about 5 selections for kids glasses and very little for adults. I will never go back and don't recommend anyone to go here. read more

First time, I have ever come to optometrist that is really professional, with great customer service and the wait time is not too long. The equipments are excellent like in the hospital and the ophthalmologist. They have lots of frames selections. They also have some cookies to entertain the little ones. Dr. Lee is very nice and he knows how to make kids comfortable while they have their eye exam. He is very honest and detail oriented. Definitely recommended to friends and family. read more

Took 4 more weeks after the original 3 weeks for them to fix my daughters glasses. So took 7 weeks to be called that glasses are ready. Going to pick them up let's hope they are correct this time! Going to report to insurance as well. I went to Walmart ordered my glasses and had them in less than a week! read more

Our whole family needed glasses, so we came in. Dr. Lee was great and answered ALL our questions. The office staff is awesome, Helen was very eager to help ALL of us find a new pair of frames. My overall opinion of this facility is great! The office is very clean and organized. I liked their large selection of frames and I loved the high-end frames. But most of all, I enjoyed their High-end service. I had Lasix and Dr Lee was picked to do my follow up visits by Nvision rather than drive down the hill for every visit. Dr Lee has not been in the office on several occasions for my schedule appointment, I was seen as late as an hour after my scheduled appointment. Today he was not in the office for my scheduled appointment and there was another person ahead of me. Obviously Dr Lee doesn't regard my time as important. I have discussed this problem with his staff and have requested not to be given an appointment time that the Dr would not even be in the office. I waited more than 45 minutes to see the Dr. Lee today. My time is valuable to me, just as valuable as Dr Lee. I don't think his routine of scheduling patients when he isn't going to be in the office is okay. read more

These people where so rude. By far the worst experience ever had dealing with a person in this line of work. My boyfriend and I were stuck in traffic on our way to his appointment. He was about 5 minuets late, and the lady at the desk was beyond disrespectful to him. We will never be coming here again. They lost a whole family of customers. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I wish there was a negative star. Been trying to get my glasses for 4 yes 4 months. The made them wrong 3 times they sent them back to the lab 3 times. Absolutely NO SATISFACTION. GO ANYPLACE ELSE. A few years back, I had issues with my insurance and they were really able to work with me. They have an awesome frame selection with very reasonable prices. 2 stars only because we Love Dr. Lee. I really use to like coming to his office, we are a family of 7 and have been going here for 3 years. However after our last visit seriously considering going elsewhere. The new front office staff is horrible, poor customer service and not knowledgeable about the product they sell and added options available. I ordered sunglasses they came in with one lens not fitting properly in the frame, sticky tape from the tag as I was given the display model, the lenses were not clean and they gave me a mens Arnell case for my women's Calvin Klein's. I am sorry if I spend over $200 for my glasses I should recieve the case that comes with and at least have them clean. I Also was looking a sports sunglasses for my kids. I was told they could not darken the lenes that the are just to protect from UV rays, which is not true, we have had it done in the past. She also trying to give me the display models that had stretched out straps and missing lettering in addition to wanting to give me a mismatched boys strap for the girl glasses we were interested in. When I returned the next day to discuss I was told that they do not order you new pairs that you get the display model as they are new. When asked why the lens didn't fit she put it on the lab and asked if I wanted them to send them back...Really??? Well of course I do. So I wait another 2 weeks for my order to be fixed. And hope my childrens glasses come in new and correctly done. Very disappointed. read more

Total Frustration is all I can say about this establishment that I can not imagine will endure the test of time. After a great eye exam with the doctor and a recommendation to update to a new prescription, I found that the front end part of the office greatly lacks competence and communication skills. It took two weeks to receive glasses, only to find they did not apply the transition feature. They were sent back. Several weeks further was told the lens was broken at the lab and would be fixed immediately since I had already waited so long. Was also told the lab made an error with the transition request. Come to find out that the transition had never been ordered by the office because it showed that on the insurance claim. Three and a half weeks later, went in because the office said they would call as soon as they came in cause they were aware of how badly I needed the glasses. The office staff claimed they had phoned my house, but I knew they did not because I never left the phone. I would have still been waiting if I did not go in to inquire about their arrival. I finally got the glasses, but I can say I will never visit this place again. There was no customer service and a total lack of care for the customer. read more
