I know the asian culture is you need to respect older so I passed on. But after that, when I was asking some questions, once again, instead saying "I'm sorry, can you repeat that?," she said: "I CAN'T UNDERSTAND YOUR ENGLISH! CAN YOU SPEAK IN VIETNAMESE?!" So this is how doctors treat their patients these days? I paid for the service to be treated like this?

I went to Lenscrafters located at 160 Pavilion Pkwy Fayetteville, GA to get an exam and order a…read morepair of glasses.. At lenscrafters, They had an onsite optician to do the exam. I received the exam, picked out glasses and purchased them.. 10 days later they called and let me know my glasses and contacts were in. I went to pick them up and when I put them on, it was obvious that the prescription was not correct. The glasses were verilux so there were three fields of vision; far, center and close. The center and close are fine, the far or normal is blurry and fuzzy. I brought this to the customer service reps attention and was told to "Wear them for a week or two and see if that helps". So I did. Well, it didn't help, so I returned to the center and asked to have the exam and glasses redone under their unconditional guarantee. I was told at that point that there would be a $45 "refraction" fee to schedule another exam.. I was surprised at this, "My glasses weren't made correctly and you want to charge me another fee to fix it", I asked. I was told that that was the Dr's policy and if I didn't like it, I could return the glasses.. I told the customer service rep that I would rather them fix their mistake and give me the glasses I ordered, but they insisted on charging me a fee to fix their mistake. At that point, I returned my purchase and left the store.. I went to make another appointment at another place and was told I'm not eligible for another exam until 2021. Please note: I paid everything that they asked. I received a product that was not correct. I asked them to correct it and was told I had to pay more money. I returned the defective products. Now I need to go somewhere else and get the glasses I need, but I can't because the place that gave me the defective products took my benefits.

Wait time has always been under 15 minutes and last week I was seen within 5 minutes of my scheduled appointment time. I was in the office for my annual exam last week and had a chance to observe their infection control practice. The doctor and staff wore masks, social distancing was implemented, patients were required to wear a mask (masks provided if needed), and all of exam equipment was cleaned with 95+% isopropyl alcohol based wipes in my presence prior to my exam. Consistent safe and effective care, pleasant doctor and staff, and customer service that exceeds my expectations makes choosing Lezaj Eye Care, Fayetteville, GA a no-brainer!

In atypical fashion, my wait was much too long. Two people who arrived 15-30 minutes after me were taken to the back before me (even though I arrived before my appointment time). I was told I was waiting for a room to be available so I'm not sure why my wait was so long. Once in the back, the appointment ran fairly smoothly. The doctor was able to explain diagnose my issue quickly and send in an eye drop prescription for me that cleared it up. It worked well enough that I was able to cancel my follow-up appt a week later. The office is always clean and nicely organized. The staff is usually pleasant.

They make you pay for an "optional" exam because the owner "believes" so much in the necessity of the exam. Never again! I highly recommend avoiding this practice.
