Me and my family have been using Dr Fallas and buying glasses there for years. I just brought new glasses 2 months ago and decided I would get some cheap glasses on line to work outside in. They gave me my rx but refused to give me my pd - saying it was proprietary. I had always thought of him as honest and fair. Obviously I've seen a new side to him and will take my business elsewhere. I love Dr. Falla and he is a good man. But after being treated rudely by one of his receptionists this morning when trying to correct a scheduling error that was clearly their fault, I won't be back. She was extremely rude and argumentative, kept shaking her head and making smacking sounds while trying to find reasons why it wasn't their fault, etc. when all I wanted to know is if they could fit me and my wife in, in spite of the error. I finally heard enough of her sarcastic and rude mouth and walked out. Wont be back. And their website doesn't allow you to leave any type of message for anyone other than the same people that we had the problem with. read more

Dr. Fallas has been my eye doctor for several years now, and I've been very pleased with his knowledge, the customer service and the selection of eyeglasses. Recently, my son and his family came to visit and our daughter-in-law had a problem with her eye. Dr. Fallas was able to see her the same day, and provided treatment, and reassurance. We were even encouraged to call him on the weekend if symptoms worsened. She had gradual improvement (as he predicted) and made a full recovery. This vision center needs to learn how-to tell the truth! I called an got an appointment specifically with the optical department. I needed an existing pair of Maui Jim sunglasses refitted with new lenses as my prescription had changed. Mind you, I purchased these glasses from Fallas in 2019. I was told that as long as these were "active" at Maui Jim, no problem. Long story short got there and was told that I would have to purchase new glasses around $900. Left, went home, contacted Maui Jim and found that my glasses were still in production and could be fitted with new lenses. She contacted Fallas and advised them of such, then received a call saying, "I MISUNDERSTOOD"!? But anyway, price came down to around $700. Said no thanks, I will go elsewhere as they cannot be trusted to tell the truth. Did go elsewhere and got what I needed at a resonable price. Local is not always the best!! read more

Ok, where do I start, these guys are awesome. Dr. Fallas and his staff make you feel at home and like you are part of their family. He spends as much time as needed during the exam, you definitely don't feel rushed and he will answer all of your questions. His equipment is also very impressive. I have been to other eye centers where the equipment seemed outdated or "low-tech," but not the case here. My 8 year old also needed glasses and the staff at Fallas Family Vision made him feel at ease on his visit (he was quite nervous before we got in there). In fact, he didn't want to put the drops in his eyes to dilate his pupils and Dr. Fallas put the drops in his own eyes to show my son that it didn't hurt - how awesome is that?!? Anyway - by far the best experience I have ever had at any eye doctor, hands down. Go here for your eye care needs, you won't be disappointed. I went to Dr. Fallas after years of inadequate service from previous eye doctors. I have keratoconus in my eyes which makes it very difficult for an average doctor to find a prescription. Lucky for me, Dr. Fallas is not an average doctor. He took his time, explained everything to me along the way, and changed my life. I went from seeing 20/60 with glasses to now seeing 20/20! This review is specific to ordering glasses and should not reflect the level of care from Dr Fallas. This is lengthy so bare with me. On Sept 1st, 2016 I walked into Fallas Family Vision and asked to order a pair of glasses. I had my new prescription with me as I just left another eye specialist. The sales person was excellent and very helpful. In fact, she saved me money with upgrading my lenses and selecting a great pair of frames. So what is the problem you ask? Ill explain. I recieve a text mesasge to pick up my glasses so on Sept 16th I return to pick them up. Obviously the prescription would be strong but something was not right. They fit great but my vision was off. So I asked the sale person, can you please measure my prescription is my current glasses and compare them to these new ones? Id like to know how much my eyes have changed. Then she comes back and says to me, "I see you haven't been here since 2009 so probably your eyes have changed a lot." Im thinking that is not what i asked you. I said, "No, I brought my prescription with me earlier this month remember?" So she takes my current glasses, measures them, then checks my new glasses and says, "Oh I see here your reading has changed some but not your distance" (I have lineless bifocals (progessives) I said again, "Something is not right here!" I asked her to check my new glasses again and ...she finally caught it. The lab made the left lense prescription wrong. ok, things happen. I wish she had checked this but its ok at this point. So she says it will take another week to get my left lense sent back from the lab then she can switch them out when it arrives. So I leave with my new glasses knowing I cant drive with them but I can read with them. On Wednesday, September 21st, I received another text message, "Your eyewear has arrived". Finally, I get new glasses. I leave work work drive all the way from Atlanta to pick up my new lense. She comes back out and says, "Im so sorry. Your lense is not here. That text message you received was in error." So not Im upset. So she says, "Ill call the lab right now and ask for a rush on it." She comes back and says, "Your lense should be here Friday. And Ill call you." Today is Saturday and I did not receive a call or anything. So lets summarize this. I purchase glasses from you Sept 1st. When I arrive to pick them up and I ask you to check the prescription that is when you discover there is a problem. You text me incorrectly and have me drive back to your office when my lense was not ready and it is now Sept 24th and I do not have glasses yet. read more

Dr. Fallas has been taking care of my eyes for about 10 years. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. During one of my routine yearly checkups he found that both of my retina's were detached on the bottom. When I followed up with a retina specialist he was surprised that a optometrist would have seen this since the detachment was so low. It had been detached for approximately for 3 months and I didn't even know it. He explains all of your conditions and concerns thoroughly. He is indeed a family doctor, my children and their children also visit his office. My 4 year old rambunctious grandson has recently visit and has been fitted for a pair of glasses. Dr. Fallas and his staff know how to get a 4 year old to willing cooperate. My 16 year old grandson had recently been poked in the eye on a Sunday and the office was closed. I took a picture of his eye and emailed to him and within minutes Dr. Fallas responded. All would be fine and to have him in the office the next morning. After an exam and some RX eye drops he was on his way. Recently I have shopped around to get a spare pair of glasses and have found that his prices are comparable to other retailers for the type of glasses I wanted. He is one of MY TOP DOC's. read more
