The company promises to complete several upgrades to include re-asphalting the parking lot, complete clubhouse renovation, irrigation upgrades, practice range upgrades and new golf carts. This golf course was always pretty mediocre. At times, it was poorly maintained and dated. It is mostly made up of par 3 holes. It is a very easy course to walk for those interested in some exercise. Tee times are easy to book online. They also offer memberships. Really looking forward to seeing these upgrades and getting golfers excited about this place again.

Immediately noticed woman at counter on her phone. She didnt even look up to see who had walked in.. Made my way around the counter and still NO greeting. I set my water down and awkwardly stood there. I set my phone down next, still no acknowledgment.. finally she looked up at me and said nothing. I said "2 adults please and 1 child, my daughter is on the kids program and I forgot what its called." She then very rudely responded, "YOU GUYS need to start bringing in your numbers" I calmly asked, "why do you say 'you guys', have I done this before are you confusing me with someone?" She stated, "no people just keep coming in without their numbers!" I again, calmly, replied, "okay well this is my first time. You're very passive aggressive." She raised her hands at me and aggressively said, "well you can leave!" I questioned, "are you asking me to leave?" She said yes. Then I asked her name and she replied, "Shawna." And with so much attitude followed up with "and I'm the manager." (This is my first time buying a round of golf btw, my husband always pays. My daughter wanted a girls day and golfing is what we landed on.) there wasnt a sign explaining this issue either so there shouldnt be any expectations. As a registered nurse and business owner, I pride myself on respect and integrity and am skilled and trained on methods of de-escalation. I would never disrespect a business or employees. I never allowed anyone to intimated my own employees and would never mistreat anyone. This manager needs training because upon reviewing reviews she has done this in the past to people who didnt deserve it. She was completely unprovoked. Had she simply apologized or even continued to ring me up I would have still stayed and played. I wasn't at all causing a scene or visibly upset. Not once did I raise my voice, verbally threaten her, intimidate her, use profanity.. i walked in with such a good mood and even greeted her. I didnt let her lack of acknowledgment affect me.. NOTHING TO WARRANT GETTING KICKED OUT! I was simply a customer who felt vagrantly disrespected and calmly vocalized that. My feedback was no cause for getting kicked out. My 9 yr old daughter even stated, "mom she must be unhappy." It was such an unpleasant moment to explain this to my daughter. She is not used to this behavior from adults in her life. After review of the business it seems as though when it was bought out this manager stayed. I believe there is cause for pause and she may need to be re-assessed on the quality she brings to this business as there are many other complaints as well or at the very least trained on her customer service. You cannot expect me to know something and be rude. Put up a sign for some time, educate, these are steps a good manager takes. A manager must have the ability to contain a situation or address a concern without kicking someone out. I contemplated leaving a review, as someone in business I hate that a bad seed affects the owners. But I would hate for this woman to mistreat someone else that is innocent. To be nice, and then treated like that is an ugly feeling. My husband and I both have large social media platforms, if I was anyone else this woman and business would have been all over the internet. In this day in age that reaction is very much a reality. We ended up going to Dryden and having a blast!

I'm not sure if the food was catered in or if it was done in house but it was pretty damn good. The reception had a separate room for dancing so it was a little awkward as people had to walk over to see the dancing happen. Overall this was a very nice venue for a wedding.

We are all brown, and it was impossible not to notice that white customers were being treated normally while we were ignored. I was waiting at the counter to purchase ammunition, and despite clearly being ready to buy, no one acknowledged me or offered help. It felt like we simply didn't matter. The combination of rude behavior, lack of customer service, and the clear feeling of racial discrimination made this a terrible experience.
