If I could give a negative score I would. I purchased a lot of furnishings 6 years ago and gave them a positive review since they have a good selection. The last few times I've been in over the years since, the employees lack of service has made me leave without purchasing. I tried again today and I didn't think it could get worse. There was no acknowledgment when we entered or even when we approached the desk. My husband asked if they had Murphy beds and the disinterested sales man said nope and went back to staring at his computer. We wandered the store looking for alternative options. An elderly couple who could barely walk approached the sales man and asked for dining room sets. The man pointed up and said 2nd floor. He didn't offer any other help. I told the couple in front of the sales man that there was an elevator lift that the salesperson could take them up. The salesman didn't say anything or offer. The couple shuffled off looking for the lift. I caught up to them and told them the salesman would need to take them up. They decided to just leave since they weren't offered help. Yes, there were two employees there so it wasn't a matter of not being able to get away from the desk. Bought a dinning room table before Christmas 2023. It was our worst investment. The table top is chipping off. Not sure why but it is just me and my husband using it and every time I wipe it down I notice another part that is peeling off in small chips. The chairs are fabric covered and are caving in the middle as well. We are very disappointed in the quality and will never shop at Boda again. read more

Both pieces of furniture I bought had dings through the finish and no discount or refund granted. They told me one piece to be delivered was new and still in it's box so it would be in better shape than the floor model. They were wrong. Do not buy from them unless you are ok with dings and chips in new furniture. read more

My New Furniture Store! Just bought a new Bed for a mattress that we didn't buy from them (Ordered Online) and they were outstanding from start to finish! Easily worked with me over the phone, had the lowest price in the area, added it to an existing order that arrived fast were polite and efficient, and loaded my truck and everything. I am certain they made little to no money on the sale and acted this fantastic anyway! We are buying a new house in about 6-9 months and they will be furnishing it! Their showroom was full gorgeous furniture! I highly recommend them, at least go look! read more

I was very disappointed when I purchased my new dining table and chair set there. They have beautiful furnace but the service is horrid. It was raining out when they employee put the boxes in my truck so I didn't get a good look at them. When I got home there was a big cut in the box my table top was in. I opened the box and it did indeed got down to the wood. When I called to tell them they denied it happened in their store and that I had infact caused the damage. I would have loved to return the item and be done with the store but they wouldn't do ANYTHING. Now I have an everyday reminder of my terrible experience with BODA. This is without doubt the best furniture store I have ever walked in the last 30 years.(US and Europe) I might like 1, 2 pieces of furniture in any other store. Boda Furniture, the moment you walk in, every turn you make, you find a piece you want to take home, they have character, a story almost to tell and high quality. If 5 stars is max, they deserve 15. If you visit, please reserve time, because you will fall in love with many pieces and it gets frustrating when your house has only so much space. This is a real furniture store. They sell real furniture that will last. I shopped around a lot before I bought my sectional, and wanted to make sure I bought one that wouldn't fall apart in a few years. A few places I visited looked like someone decided the night before to open a store, and just threw a few things on the floor and called it good. Let's just say I didn't feel like they would be there in a year if a seam pulled loose. This meant I had to shop around, even drive down from Seattle to find a store that met my needs. Boda is a huge brick building, nicely maintained in the middle of downtown Albany. Family owned, I was sold my furniture by a lovely newlywed, whose new husband helped load my sectional into my truck. They told me they even live in the same building that they remodeled. Finally I found a store that wasn't fly-by-night! She was very patient even though I kept changing my mind, and I'll admit, was a high-maintaince customer. I got the micro fiber in a sage color, and I love it! I know my sectional will last for a long time, but if I ever do have a problem, I would feel very secure knowing this family-owned business will be there to help me. read more

We first discovered Boda's when it was just two levels of furniture. We have furnished our entire 2400 sq ft home from their store alone, and couldn't be happier. We have sent many friends there too and they have all been happy. Chuck and his whole gang are polite and respectful. We will never shop anywhere else, as long as we live in the area. read more

The worst customer service ever! I would give them a -5 stars if I could. We bought a dinning set and the corner of one of the chairs had the stitching come apart. They said it wasn't their problem, didn't offer to repair it, or even suggest a place to get it repaired. This is definitely a buyer beware place of business. Very disappointing that customer service is so hard to get now a days. I will never do business there again. read more

I believe I was speaking with the owner, or the owners son who is running the store and was shocked at how disinterested he appeared in selling me the furniture I was ready to buy. I left and found the exact same piece of furniture online much cheaper. He had the piece priced at $3000 and found it for $2400! read more

Poor customer service, very rude. I was in the store for over 35 minutes before I got helped. They were very short with me and acted like they could care less if I was there. Bought a table and one of the chairs had unraveled at a seam and I didn't notice it. It did say as is, but you'd think they would have brought that to my attention before I purchased it, and at least respectfully refer a furniture repair company. read more
