Those slides in there especially the blue one is adult sized and oh so fun! I went down it a few times an almost had whiplash from the speed and all the twist and turns! And it feels like the slide goes foreverrrrr. The entire playhouse is tall enough for adults to play inside which is hardly ever the case at most places! It was jam packed full of people by the time we left, and we got there right when it opened at 10am. Check in is a breeze. You tell the nice lady behind the counter your name and kids name and they give you a sticker. If it's your first time you simply fill out a form and then get the same sticker. Shoes have to remain on and it is located inside what looks to be a mega church! Ample parking and very nice parents who go there.

The sweet spot for this playground is probably 3-6 years, but there is plenty to do for the younger ages too. The max age for entry is 10. There are slides, climbing areas, and a rubber-bottomed hill for the kids to run up and roll down. Despite being fully closed in, the play area is bright and doesn't feel cramped at all (in comparison to Irving Bible Church's THE TUBES). Everything was exceptionally clean. The playground is open M-F from 10a-4p. It is free and open to the public, but you must check in at the desk in front of the play area before entering. No food or drinks in the play area and children MUST wear shoes. This was a bit of a drive for us, so I packed a lunch and after the kids had their fill of the playground, we headed over to the indoor eating area on the opposite side of the church ("The Commons") to eat. Overall a great morning of free fun - THANK YOU Prestonwood Baptist Church!

If you live in the High Country subdivision of Carrollton, Texas, you need to visit our beautiful…read moreneighborhood park. Part of the City of Carrollton park system, Branch Hollow Park is located at the east end of Branch Hollow Drive and is a nice, 3.5 acre area with lots of shade trees. There are 2 lighted, fenced in tennis courts, a pavilion with picnic tables and grills and a large playground for the children. You can burn off a few calories in the court, let the kids work off some extra energy on the playground and meet up with friends for a meal or just relax in the shade. The park is located at the north end of the Carrollton Blue Trail, a 4.25 mile paved path that winds along Furneaux Creek in the greenbelt. So, it makes for a great starting or endpoint for an invigorating run or bike ride, or a leisurely walk. There's a small parking lot and lots of street parking available. Hope to see you there!

They are almost always being used when we drive by day or night. There is a nice waterfountain for people and dogs by the court but im not sure if they are working now(because of covid) There are a few picnic tables one with a covering. The playground is very well maintained with lots of different things for the kiddos to play on. The covering is rubbery which helps cushion falls. The blue trail is right behind it if you feel like doing some walking/riding your bike on a wide divided cement path (is about 4 miles). Very close to the tennis courts are three very well maintained butterfly/insect/bird areas.

Andy Brown is a beautiful space, from the pond to the open fields, the sidewalk/bike path, multiple large pavilions, and fun playground. There are large, mature trees surrounding the park. We parked in the wrong lot and had to walk alongside the gym in order to get to the playground and I couldn't believe how beautiful the pathways were with all the trees and the small creek running alongside. Not what I expected from a city park! The playground itself ("Kid Country") is almost fully enclosed and is a sprawling assortment of things to climb up, swing on, and slide down. There is a play area in the toddler section with storefronts to spark pretend play. The ground is bark. There are large trees in the center of the play area that provide shade and make the play structure look more natural than your typical playground. Almost like a tree house. There are benches scattered throughout the play area and a large covered pavilion with multiple picnic tables underneath. The city of Coppell provides free WiFi there and there were multiple moms with laptops out, working, while their kids played. The only big negative is the distance from the playground to the bathroom. I understand that they probably built the bathrooms more toward the center of the park, but the wise choice would have been to also put an additional small restroom right next to the playground. It's too far of a walk for me to feel comfortable sending my younger kids over there alone and it's kind of a bummer to have to wrangle together the entire group every time one kid has to pee. Otherwise, a fabulous park. LOVE IT. Hats off to you, Coppell!
