I just moved to Eugene a couple of weeks ago and I was really happy to find this cute place right in my neighborhood!! Fantastic selection of beers and I even found a couple of bottles of Pliny! SCORE! I'll definitely be back. Cheers!!

Great place with tons of beer choices to enjoy ! Pete will serve you with a smile and make you feel like one of the regulars. Try it you'll like it !

The Filling Station is my favorite place to grab great beer. I stopped in because I live so close, but I came back because of the casual atmosphere and great prices. The owner is willing to chat while he pours you a beer or fills your growler. They have tons of beer, cider, wine and soda to sample or take home. Around the corner, there are games to play and places to sit and chat. I have never had a bad experience here, and I like to support local business. Try it out!

Tabletop bar rented for a BBQ. It was the hit of the party!

I rented the table top bar for a backyard BBQ. It was the hit of the party! We had four different beers on tap which was equivalent to a pony keg. Doing that allowed us to have variety, opposed to just getting a pony keg of one beer that you hope everyone likes. Two days before the party we went in to taste beers and narrow down the HUGE selection to just four. Tony, the owner, was amazing and patient with us. He had great suggestions and let us taste as many as we wanted to make our selection. Tony built the table top bar himself with the CO2 included. It's quite impressive. A little heavy, but with two strong people's help we had no problem getting it in and out of the back seat of my Corolla. Tony even has a system to keep the beer ice cold all day long. I highly recommend the Filling Station for all your tailgating/party needs!

The best place for a pint or a growler fill. Great beer and excellent hosts. There's always good music playing, good free wifi and of course the selection of different beer, cider and even a couple of wines and sodas. Check it out

With that meal you will experience actual satisfaction and contentment. That's the first thing I have to say in case you're reading for a recommendation of what to order. Even better if you have it late night after experiencing the best Handel's Messiah concert at the Hult in December. I had a small slider of corned beef along with his amazing fresh Kale salad garnish with shaved Parmesan, walnuts, added protein -- sausage. It came with a toasted slice of soda bread that was great. But the slider was how I realized the corned beef was PERFECTLY prepared. A taste was not enough; I decided to get the dinner plate version to take the next day up to Seattle with me. Fantastic staff included Barkeep Illyia, whose birthday it was. She kept up a steady stream of attentive care, skillful service, friendly banter with each of the clients that came in and said good by to them as they left. Hospitality was her middle name. Love that they have mugs for the regulars hanging from the ceilings, the bar space is great but so are the arm chairs and cushioned seats in the corners of the pub. I even ran into two other concertgoers who had also been so energized after the Messiah concert that they didn't want to go home. We spent a half hour at the bar unpacking the highs and best points of the performance by the Eugene Symphony Orchestra, and the symphony choir, and each of the soloists. We also unanimously agreed the tenor was fantastic, the baritone a paragon of artistic talent, the soprano sang incandescently, and that the final AMEN movement was soul healing and mind blowing simultaneously. Yeah. It was that good. This place was the right place to come to unpack it all over a Guinness and the best corned beef and cabbage in town. Love that it was open late enough to enjoy after the concert. Will be back.

I'll def vote for him if he's up for it, and he absolutely should win best in eugene. The pint pot has very well executed food, and hits well above its price point , with regulars who both recommend and try to dissuade you from ordering what they want for fear of it being out. That's a strong sign that the food is good, by the way. They are what they know, and do nothing else. I don't want an Irish pub to make me a smash burger, and imo that's beautiful! For the slight negative. I go to bars under the assumption I can enjoy a drink, a meal, and a game without having to hear that shrill noise of babies. They allow them until 8 pm, which basically means I'll never be back. I'm already missing that smoked pork chop.

Some of the other reviews were negative on their food...but our food was fantastic. The burgers were moist and not greasy. The waffle cut fries were hot and crispy. The bartenders work non stop to get your drinks and food out quickly. My daughter loved the churro style donuts (but they are messy). The decor is a D&D dive bar scene....so many things to look at as you wait for bingo to start. They just changed the rules and you do have to pay $1.00 per person to play bingo...but where else can you get that type of entertainment for a dollar. We can't wait to return.

This could have easily been a five star review, but the service... OMG, I will go into it after I…read moretalk about the food. I had tasted a couple of beers and really enjoyed the red they had on tap, I would highly recommend it. The dark beer selection was not great but that's ok, they have enough to choose from. We started with the buffalo cauliflower, which was great. I am sure their actual wings would be just as good. Loved the flavor, tasted kind of like Frank's but certainly not just that. For the main, I had the jalapeño chicken sandwich and upgraded the fires to the Parmesan fries and would highly recommend doing so. They were probably some of the best fries I have had in a very long time. The chicken cutlet on the sandwich was delicious and you could tell it was fried fresh and the breading was very crisp and the chicken moist. All the right combinations. One of my friends had the wedge with the blue cheese dressing. I asked for a side for my fries because I just love good blue cheese! The other friend dining this evening had the BLT, which he was very happy with and commended that there was a very thick pile of bacon, which is excellent! NOW, where the stars decreased was the service. I am sure it's a generational thing and hard to get good help in customer service but damn. Our waitress knew very little about the products that were on the menu. I asked several questions about things that she ultimately didn't know the answer too. Here they are: They had a cream ale on nitro. I asked her what it was. She said, and I quote "A beer on nitro" Next, I asked if they made the dressing in house, specifically the blue cheese. The answer was "I don't know, I think so" and then proceeded to get me a side portion of it. AND, the crème de la creme of answers: I noticed, long after the beer list was taken that they had a Fort George beer on tap. I asked her what it was and I kid you not, the answers was "Beer". Well DUH. So I proceeded to ask what kind of beer and she simply said "I don't know, I don't do beer". The morally of the story, I totally understand if you don't know the answers to my questions, but I bet there is at least one other person, maybe even the manager, who knows the answers. GO ask. OMG. Fortunately she said she would get me a sample of the Fort George, but it was a waste because it was and IPA and I don't like them. Could have save a trip had she known more about her offerings. Anyway, I would certainly go back, but I would request a different server and perhaps be able to give all five stars. It was a clean, wide open space that was certainly modern and delicious food with a fairly decent price.
