We visited Eugene and discovered Crow & Cart in the Whiteaker neighborhood. It's a cozy, handcrafted bar with vibes and an electric cocktail menu. At night, from a distance, it was a shocker to see that this place was open and here. DRINKS: 7/10 SERVICE: 10/10 AMBIANCE: 10/10 What we ordered: Lemon & Ginger Mule Key Lime Rum Cocktail DRINKS: 7/10 The Lemon & Ginger Mule was fascinating and part of their Shrub specialty menu, which is a sweet-and-tart drinking vinegar made from fruit, sugar, and vinegar, created to preserve fruit. Definitely an acquired taste, but I loved the creativity behind it. The Key Lime Rum Cocktail was bright, refreshing, and perfectly balanced, with a tropical twist that was smooth and flavorful without being overly sweet. SERVICE: 10/10 The bartender serving us was friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciated how they explained some of the more unique cocktails and helped me pick something adventurous. She was a vibe for sure and seemed to be vibing with the other customers as well. AMBIANCE: 10/10 Crow & Cart nails that "handcrafted neighborhood bar" feel. The space is full of character with warm wood tones, plants, and personal touches everywhere. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to relax. There is also outdoor seating. This is right next door to Subo Sushi and we placed our order then went to get a drink. They have indoor and outdoor seating and make delish drinks. They have a bunch of beers on tap, too. It was a sunny day but we sat inside and loved chatting with the bartender. I really liked the feel of the place and it had cool stuff on the walls and ceilings. Plus, did I mention the good drinks? They also make their own shrubs which they use in many of their drinks. They also have a large variety of non-alcoholic (zero proof) fun libations too. Definitely recommend! read more

We were visiting Eugene and looking for some dinner cocktails and nosh. The Crow and Cart more than fit the bill for that first item. My wife had a Liquid Sunshine while I had a Not a Dumb Blonde - both were delicious. The very pleasant proprieter, Tina, noted that my drink was named in honor of Dolly Parton, who famously responded to comments about her public persona by stating "I'm not offended by all the dumb blonde jokes because I know I'm not dumb... and I also know that I'm not blonde." :) When we asked about food options and mentioned sandwiches, Tina enthusiastically recommended the Zandos food truck, which was an excellent choice and will get its own review. If you're in Eugene and looking for well-well-made drinks in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend the Crow and Cart. read more

Went in for an evening cocktail. The ambience is great with the interior decorated with a host of upcycled materials such as a tool box for the beer spigot etc. The owner made my cocktail which was a whiskey sour and it tasted great, well balanced etc. The foam for the sour was an artificial foam, rather than made with actual egg whites, which was quite innovative. I ended up at the Cart and Crow a couple of days ago to attend the Fish Market Cajun crab boil event. I had a couple of their craft cocktails that had shrub in them. They were delicious and refreshing. The bartenders were professional and efficient. I like the atmosphere and plan on coming back to enjoy more shrub drinks. read more

Space is lovely, delicious brush flavors, service good, ordered a hummus plate from the food truck court outback, drank two cocktails. While I felt welcome, I felt as though I interrupted something between bartender and other people at the bar. After sometime, I realized they were friends visiting the bartender. Looooved this bar. It's bright and open, the bartender was friendly and made me the best peach something-or-other ever. It has a neat industrial but homey type of feel with cool plants everywhere. I'll start by saying I have had mostly good experiences here. However, both times I've purchased drinks from Jodi, she has had a terrible attitude. She doesn't seem to like people coming over from SuBo next door despite that being an agreement between the two businesses. The gentleman who tends the bar is great. read more

This will definitely be a new go to spot for me. Such a fun vibe, excellent service, and wonderful atmosphere. All the syrups and shrubs are made in house and are delightful. Our bartender was awesome and she quickly came up with great custom drinks for us based on just a shrub or syrup suggestion. There are two food carts currently which you can order from your table, subo sushi and Zandos. The inside obviously speaks for itself, but a new patio has been added out front! What an amazing experience! I came in single, lonely, poor and ugly and left with the gorgeous woman that I ended up marrying, a whole new group of best friends, my boss called me and promoted me to 2nd in command, and a modeling scout saw me sitting at the bar and chose me for the face of the new Gucci campaign based on my looks! Okay, that's definitely some slight exaggeration there, but this place IS amazing. Cocktails hit nicely and are refreshing, there are some solid tap handles and wonderful ambience. I like the nice high top live edge wood tables and the big windows. Bartenders are friendly and attentive and are actually happy to see you there. It's roomy enough for a good group of friends but also cozy enough for a date night. 100% would recommend it! read more

It's terrific for those warmer days as they open their garage door as well as have a very nice patio area with some food trucks. The amount of craftsman work the owners put into the place is insane. The atmosphere is stellar. The design is top notch. Love everything about it. The drinks were a good pour! Not your measured out watered down garbage you find elsewhere. They even make their own organic syrups for mixers. There is a food cart that will open out back and they share the building with Subo so food options available. The owner was amazing and told us all about the decor. I've visited this place 3 times now and each time I go the staff is super friendly, the drinks are delicious, and the atmosphere is perfect. The staff are always willing to answer questions and give great recommendations. Drinks are a little spendy but so worth it. They taste great and are made with quality liquor and fresh Syrups and ingredients. The decoration and vibe of the place is so cute and is perfect for a place to lay low and catch up with others while enjoying a drink with no pressure. Crow and Cart is hands-down the best bar in town! Every person on staff is fantastic and the service is impeccable. The decor and atmosphere is cozy and really unique, all the live plants really make it feel like home. Their cocktails are perfectly strong. The house-made shrubs and syrups are always intriguing and super tasty. They even had the grace to let us have a private event here. Tina was super easy to work with, flexible, and made sure things were well-stocked for us, and Erin was the best bartender for our party! I hope to do it again soon as this is a really nice space for our group of about 25, though there was certainly room for more. There is even a really cool back patio - I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with it in the summer! I hope everybody takes time to make it to this bar - I guarantee it will be a Whiteaker staple for years to come. read more

The ambience of this smaller bar in the Whit is amazing. I believe most of the interior decorations were curated by the owner, Tina. Tina is also a beautiful person. She is so friendly, inviting and knows her crowd. This place has a cute intimate patio in the back with a food cart that must have the best macaroons in town. Between the front garage door openings, great vibe, and all of the housemaid cocktail flavors, it's a place that shouldn't be missed. (plus it's right next to SUBO) read more

Beautiful spot! Great attention to detail. Lighting was WAY to bright! I mean painfully bright. All in our crew recoiled from it. Definitely took away from the atmosphere. Even the back patio lights were ALOT. And music was good variety but way to quiet. Barely audible. Not the kinda vibe we were hoping for. BUT all things that are a quick fix. Great atmosphere, need a real bartender. I asked for an old fashioned and she didn't know how to make it. She forgot one of the 3 ingredients and when it tasted awful, she charged me for 2 drinks instead of the one she managed. She was nice, just needs to learn how to make drinks. read more
