    Chicken Fajita Tacos Plate (3)

I came here previously to have some breakfast tacos. They didn't blow me away, but I was set in my head to try the lunch menu options and I wasn't disappointed. The chicken fajita tacos come in a set of three but they looked so delicious I had already consumed one before I remembered to snap a pic. The service was friendly and the food arrived promptly. The chairs aren't very comfortable, but they match the setting of your typical diner style; built for speed not pleasure. All in all, a 4.5 out of 5. Go check it out.

the good: take out service was friendly and prompt. place was clean. food was ready when promised and warm. order was correct, albeit confusingly small. the rest: ....this ain't it. small portions, high prices, and bland flavor. i wish i would have known about the $5 thursday al pastor special and saved some cash. was not present on their online ordering platform. instead i ordered the mix and match street tacos (5 for $10) to try all 5 meats. they were all bland and pretty indistinguishable. tortillas weren't doubled up so they disintegrated almost immediately. the tacos are smaller than those you get at most taco trucks (smaller diameter tortilla). the quesadillas were smol for $9. i ordered a side of beans and i got a 2oz portion for 75c, like...what...? that's like a shot of frijoles. competitors do a large side of rice and beans por un dólar. we paid $25 for 5 mini tacos, 2 mini quesadillas, and two jello shot cups of beans.

    Breakfast tacos!!

Food isn't very good here wouldn't recommend especially for how much you pay for it. Tried it for breakfast and lunch both disappointing.

Food is great! But if you are going to tip. Please tip in cash. The cashiers do not get the credit card tips. They go to the owner.

Small tacos. Need to expand menu. Rooting for them but current model won't make them profitable

I came across this place with tons of great reviews, and the food looked amazing, so I decided to give it a shot. It's only about 15 minutes from where I am in League City, and the place was super nice and clean. The staff was very attentive and friendly and I ordered 4 breakfast tacos with chorizo, potato, and egg. They were SO good! I honestly have no complaints about the food. My only gripe is that I wish they gave a little more salsa, especially for the size of the tacos. I ordered 4 tacos and was only given 3 tiny 1-ounce cups of salsa not even one per taco. I asked if I could get a couple more, but they said there was an extra charge for them. I thought that was a little strange, especially since they were such small portions and since they have some at the table if you sit and eat. Luckily, I had some salsa at home, so I took the tacos home and absolutely killed them. I'll definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for some really good breakfast tacos!

Let's start with the good and end with the bad. First off,…read morethe horchata was really good definitely one of the highlights of the meal. The torta, though? Not going to lie... pretty mid. The fajita had good flavor, but there was nowhere near enough meat. There was so little fajita on it that I started wondering if the torta was on a diet. By the time I got back to work and actually sat down to eat it, the bread was already getting soggy from the mayo, which didn't help. For $11, I was expecting a considerably bigger torta and a decent amount of meat. At this size and portion, I'd say $5-$7 would be more reasonable. The rice was probably the weakest part of the meal. It was very plain and didn't have much flavor at all. I also tried the green and red sauces. Green sauce was actually pretty good. The red sauce, however, tasted like regular Pace Picante sauce... just watered down. I've seen some other reviews saying the tacos are pretty small, and after this experience, I'm definitely curious to see for myself. I'll be back for the tacos, so stay tuned for the Taco Update. Overall, not my favorite spot, but I wouldn't completely write it off. Maybe I'll swing by every few months or more and give it another shot. The tacos might redeem this place... we'll see.

Lupe Tortilla - Kemah Review…read more There are restaurants where the meal begins the moment you walk through the door, and there are restaurants where the welcome feels like an invitation to reconsider your life choices. At Lupe Tortilla in Kemah, our host was gracious and welcoming. We asked if we could sit at the bar, and we were happily shown to two seats. So far, so good. Then came the bartender. She greeted us with the sort of expression usually reserved for someone who has just backed into your car in the parking lot. Plates and chips were tossed onto the bar--technically within the vicinity, though apparently not within reach. We were then asked if we wanted drinks. We ordered a dressed draft beer and a 50/50 Rita. The beer arrived beautifully cold and perfectly poured. The margarita, however, was roughly 90% frozen and 10% margarita--the precise opposite of what we were hoping for. It wasn't exactly the warm beginning one hopes for when settling in for dinner. The food may yet have a chance to redeem the evening, but hospitality is part of the recipe. And when the first course is indifference, even a good meal has a little climbing to do.
