Just received an arrangement from here this evening. Literally was just delivered to our house about an hour ago and most of the flowers are drooping or are already dead. I don't have the heart to let the person who sent them to me know but I would like the business to know that I feel this is unacceptable. I'm sure good money was spent on this piece and the vase. The majority of the pieces are old, wilted, missing half of the petals, bruised. It's just sad. Beautifully arranged but not with any heart. ***Update*** They sent more flowers today which I'm assuming are to replace the previous ones and these are beautiful. I ordered flowers online through 1-800 flowers and this was the shop that my order was sent to. The arrangement that I had ordered came in three sizes, small, medium, and large, I ordered the large. Well my best friend received her flowers and I was sent a picture of the arrangement by her mom thanking me, but I had to do a double take. The arrangement was so small. Like 1/3 the size it should be. I called the florist to ask them about the arrangement that was sent.I spoke to the owner and told her that my order was not correct and the arrangement I ordered was much larger. She responded saying that the picture isn't a good representation as it's just a picture and that it's not going to look exactly like the picture. I told her that wasn't the problem. The issue was it wasn't the size I ordered. I paid $160 for flowers and got something that cost maybe $40. She said that if the $160 she only sees $120 because the third party takes cut. I replied explaining the issue was the size of the arrangement. She said she would make it right try to get her the correct order the following day. I explained that my friend had just lost her baby and that she would be leaving out of town that following day to go be with her mom and that the time frame wouldn't work as she would be gone. She was nice enough to call a delivery driver and make accommodations to get her the large arrangement that same day to make sure she got the correct size. She expressed that on her end it said I only ordered a standard size. This made no sense as there wasn't even an option for a standard size, again, it was small, medium, and large. She said she could do the correct arrangement and "exchange" them to make things right. They pink rose was no longer available and offered me a two-tone rose instead, which I really didn't care for but was willing to accept it as I just wanted my friend to get what I ordered. This is when things really started to escalate. The delivery driver arrived and knocks on the door. They hand my friend the flowers and she said thank you and went to close the door, the driver said "excuse me, wait, I need the other flowers back" My friend called me and told me that the flowers were delivered (I warned her ahead of time they would be coming back by) but then she followed up with them asking for the other flowers back, and expressed how awkward it was. Wait what???? I couldn't believe it! When she said exchange, she really meant exchange. This was an error on the florist and to show up and ask my friend for her flowers back is insanely tacky and tad less.Called back and told the owner that I couldn't believe they showed up there and asked for the other flowers back knowing what my friend had just went through when the error was on their end. Me: " I can't believe you just delivered those flowers and asked for the other one back, that is insanely tacky..." Florist: "I said I would exchange them" Me: "when you said exchange I didn't really think you were going to ask for the other flowers back, this was a mistake on your end not mine. I just wanted to send my friend flowers and now it's awkward." Florist: I'm running a small business not a corporation so every flower needs to be accounted for." Me: "You gotta know when to take a loss." Florist: "you can't go off the picture on the website as it'll look a little different." Me: " again it's not that the arrangement was incorrect as far as the flowers, it was the wrong size. It was 1:3 the size it should of been." Florist: " Looking at the picture and expecting it to look exactly like the picture isn't how it works. When you go to McDonalds and order a Cheese burger does it look exactly like the picture?" (Yes she literally had the audacity to say this) Me: " R you comparing a bouquet of flower to a McDonald's cheese burger ?" Florist: "what is it that you would like me to do?" Me: " I don't even know at this point. I just think it's extremely tacky that you took the flowers!" Florist: "you expect me to leave the flowers? You are just trying to take advantage of the situation." Anyways you get the gist of where this going... it went back and forth, back and forth until... Florist: " would you like me to cancel the order?" Me: "so what you can send a driver back and take those flowers back too?" Florist: "yes, I can have the driver go back now" What?!?!?!?!!? Omg lol! You have got to me kidding me! To wrap things up, the conversation ends like this... Florist: " I'd rather lose everything than to continue talking to you" I just hung up on her at that point. But back to the flowers. The new arrangement she sent still looks nothing like the "cheeseburger" I ordered. There are parts of the arrangement that aren't even there and they added soooo much green to fill spots. Also it looks like they quickly threw it together. After reading other reviews it's very clear this place is unethical and hides behind it's third party to deal in fraudulent activity. read more

Patricia's Petals is the worst floral service ever. I ordered an arrangement that had a purple vase, lavender roses and purple filler flowers. The arrangement was called "Blushing Love". I have posted a picture of the arrangement from the website and a picture of what they delivered. You be the judge, Do they look the same to you? Then when I contacted them it was nothing but the run around and "send us an email", which I did several times only having to follow up with a call after call due to being cut off while waiting on the line. Finally I got a refund less $15, for a service fee of some sort. This was the very time consuming and exhausting transaction and left a very bad taste in my mouth. I am in a convalescent home and my friend sent me flowers from here for my birthday. The arrangement was to include the carnation puppy dog. Although the arrangement and the balloon were nice, it didn't compare to the arrangement she sent me in early December that came from a different florist. The arrangement from this florist shop appeared hastily made and contained mostly fillers. It arrived in what appeared to be a dog bed basket with the front of the plastic flower "bowl" showing. It only required a large bow to hide it. It looks as tho they made it as cheaply as possible and barely managed to get the "face" on the dog. read more

The WORST. I ordered for my SIL who was widowed 2 weeks ago, thinking a Valentine's bouquet might cheer her. I was NOT told, it could be a "flex" delivery-so when I called I was told it "might" be delivered today. The day after. Might? I paid for the flowers, paid for the "service fee," and still no flowers. The customer service person, Helen, was also awful. She was lackluster, didn't seem to care at all, and offered literally no solutions, including whether there was a specific delivery date. So I made it to The big "50!" My niece over an hour away and her family wanted to lift my spirits and sent me this absolutely adorable CAKE floral arrangement! I love it!! I just giggled like a child when I came home to this!! But sadly a couple days later the flowers were already dying. I know that surely they should last more than two days, this definitely was not a cheap arrangement! Flowers are like people though... you can't control how they're going to react. The weather has been sooo pleasant nice and cool and then BAM it was really hot on my birthday! I contacted Ana who had delivered the cake arrangement. With no questions asked she was apologetic and said they could not replace the original bouquet but would be able to bring me a new arrangement the next day. I figured it's the fall season so I said anything with fall colors would be appreciated and that I would be leaving by 12 noon. I ordered a floral arrangement and box of chocolates through Patricia's Petals (at the time thinking they were a local florist, as they came up under a search for "local florists"...turns out they are a broker) I ordered it on behalf of my brother for his wife's birthday (as he was out of town at the time, and he's not comfortable with computers). The Flower Shop (10530 Magnolia Ave. Riverside, CA 92505) filled the order. The arrangement was supposed to have pink roses, but they replaced them with red roses (without authorization)...but, that pales in comparison to the condition of the flowers and size of the arrangement. The arrangement was skimpy, half the size of the arrangement ordered....the red roses were FULLY open and the edges of the petals were dark and wilted/curling back. The edges of the petals of the white alstroemeria were brown! On top of that they never even delivered the chocolates. Because the order came through a broker, I know "The Flower Shop" thought they could palm off their old, wilted flowers because they thought the recipient would be too polite to say anything (and they were absolutely right about that)...what they didn't realize is that the person placing the order (me) would see the arrangement the next morning after it was delivered. This business is highly unethical! They are thieves, taking your money and sending flowers that should be in the trash... DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHOP!! read more

I used FlowersForYou.com to order flowers for my mom, and they use local florists for each order. It happens that The Flower Shop was responsible for my order. They called my mother to tell her it was delivered, but when my mom checked, it hadn't. They must have delivered it to the wrong address. When my mom called to tell them that the flowers hadn't arrived, they argued with her as if they didn't believe her. This was supposed to be a lovely surprise for my mom, and instead, she was upset at the way they treated her. Needless to say, I don't recommend using this business. I hate giving bad reviews for small businesses, but this isn't a good experience. read more

If only I could give this place zero stars. They deserve it. This past Valentine's Day my son purchased a pair of roses as a friendship gift for a girl in his school. Fourteen bucks seemed a lot to pay for two scrawny roses and some baby's breath, but wait! ... it gets worse! When I got home the next day, the roses were on our kitchen table. My son was too embarrassed to give them when he noticed the white rose and turned brown around the edges and was wilting. I took him back there; he was perfectly willing to GIVE THEM MORE MONEY if they would use the red rose in another arrangement. I had been explaining to him that he should be getting replacement or refund. Sure, they were perfectly willing to sell him more flowers; the word "refund" never was spoken. What ticked me off was when they insisted that the flowers were fresh when sold. I insisted that no fresh flower wilts within 24 hours. Then things got worse. The clerk demanded, "What did you do?" My son kept a cool head, replying "I kept them in our refrigerator overnight." To which she responded, "What kind of refrigerator was it?" That's when I exploded, demanding they either replace the flower, give him his money back, or credit him toward another purchase. Instead, she responded, "We have no control over what happens when the flowers leave the shop." In other words, we were at fault for mishandling the flowers. They are totally unclear on the time-honored concept that the customer is always right. These people have no integrity, nor any business ethics. The sooner they are out of business, the world will be a better place. read more

This happened at Mullens Flower shop. I was taken advantage of at this flower shop. I needed some advice on how to put bouquets together for a school function. I was in such a hurry and they knew. They would not help me, but they did sell me 7 pieces of cellophane paper for $5 a piece as a man was returning some dead carnations he had purchased. I was in a hurry to get to the school event that I went ahead and made the purchase. What a mistake. I was out $35 and the girl said i will give you a break and not charge you tax. I will never set foot in that store. They must rip of people who buy flowers for their loved ones who are hospitalized next door. read more

Worst! Horrible customer service, very unethical and such a ripoff! Ordered flowers online and they were 1/4 of the size shown online. I called the owner to have her rectify the situation, and she was totally rude and defensive. The owner made me come all the way to return the arrangement, and I did on her word that she would issue a refund. When I got there, she started yanking and breaking all the leaves to make it look like the bouquet wasnt delivered that way. So weird; I obviously brought it in its original condition amd she was obviously the one breaking the leaves off in front of me. To top it off, she kept the arrangement and when I checked, only issued a partial refund!! Complete fraud. I also noticed this is this shop's second yelp account. So unethical. I was in need of a corsage for my son's prom and I had waited until the last minute to shop for it. i had been told by another flower shop that they were no longer taking orders and another had such a limited selection and crazy prices! Donna understood my situation and despite the fact they were very busy with Prom and Mother's Day, she took my order and helped me pick out a beautiful corsage in the colors my son had wanted for his girlfriend. I ordered twice from this place, as it seemed to be a very nice and great presentation. My first experience was last year for loved one's birthday. It was delivered 1 day late. It was obviously already a bad experience then, but I yet decided to give it another chance this year. I just got off of the phone with a women named R... not sure exactly who but she claimed to be the owner. I was told I cannot get this delivery to place due to the apartments being a gated area. She called me before they closed, I could have been told a lot earlier to get this arranged elsewhere. I am very upset because there customer service is horrible, they hung up the phone on me and I was promised this delivery since last year it was missed by being a day late and not delivered on time. they were more concerned about the money than making the delivery. this is not the proper way to help a customer nor to run a business if she was really the owner. read more
